Hi. I pretty much screwed up my tablet, it refuses to boot up. It just hands on the Prestigio Start Up Screen.
I edited my vold.fstab and now I cant boot in to change it.
I tried booting into recovery mode, but I just get the Android with the open chest, and red glow. Connected it via usb to my PC, but windows could not install drivers.
Please help. I dont know what to do?

First off, sry for bad english
I have pmp3270, also screwed up my tabled messing with the vold.fstab, ofc reflashing stock firmware which is on prestigio site fixed it a couple od times (basic OS trouble, if you brake it reinstall fixes almost all ) but I see you figured that out and that tablet is rooted out of the box, what I want to ask is , has anyone found any custom recovery and roms for this tablets, wanted to mess with recovery but it will onli reboot in recovery , not much u can do there couse when I go to install zip from sd card the tabled just doesn't recognise the sd ( I also have 16 GB external ) so any info on that tablet would be nice, my frend google refuses to help me
P.S. for those trynig to replace internal sd with external due to 2 gb internal memory not being enough to install games I found an application on google store that helps its not ideal , you have to manualy swich external if you reset tablet and sometimes if u connect it to computer but it gets the job done

and the thing you should prob know is that 13:31 179:0- is the adress of external sd and 13:31 93:72 of internal, might have swiched those 2 but I think thats about right. If this is mentioned somewhere... well then I wish I saw it before
No mate..... The ROM in Prestigio site is not complete. It is just an update. For me it didn;t work...

rom from the site worked for me, and I flashed it like 5 times maybe more ( jeah, had to brake it more than once, couldn't leave it alone )

I messed my tablet by thinkering with vold.fstab, saw that was the problem in the first post, maybe we had a different problem

Hi guys I am in a pickle.... I am coming to you because I have no other options.
As the title says I have a Wondermedia tablet and I was looking into replacing the stock software because its bull****. Anyway I got the honeycomb ROM UBEROID setup but I can never make it by the bootscreen. I have tried several different devices in the changer.bat but no luck... atm it is laying bricked because I have no way of restoring stock software... Any help with this will be apreciated! PLEASE HELP!

heres what I used
I used a file called tabatronics which is a Verizon uberoid except no configuration settings just extract to card and power on worked like a charm including touch screen which is what I kept having issues I think I uploaded this file if not let me know. I have two of these called a boss 7in tablet I got on base but took almost 2 months to find a file that worked.
There are two files u extract one is a command the other a folder with the system remove these from your card.or zip when done or will install on each boot and took lose everything also made mine alot faster hope this helps.

This phone running flash with sdcard script. maybe you can use this link http://nsfat-community.blogspot.com/2013/04/stockrom-jelly-bean-411-build-605.html. i used n work good. download stock JB 4.1.1 v 0.65, denmaz.tgz ( root flasher ), autorun.sh. place on root sdcard, insert to phone and reboot.

I tried root another U2 and the same happened.
i don't know guys....i have latest firmware (w552.6.6.0) in u8, and it should work for u2 too, you can visit my source if you like ( www.mobileuncle.com)

U8 and Medion p4501 is the same mobile i will port cm 4.2 on it i think you guys can use it too..
But first of all i need to fix my build.prop permission to overcome bootloop :d not systempartition or what so ever to work with , Need cwm recovery too i will start it in couple of days with CWM recovery but my phone need to be fixed

Well bro all i can say is my personal experience i had a Nexus S that too had the exact problem then eventually i needed to replace the screen This might either be the problem in the mainboard. Sounds different. Belive me The Display connector on thr mainboard may be faulty if you lucky the..!

Well does it get detected on any PC or Laptop.
And if it doesnt then its fully Hardbricked and can be fixed.
You will need to give a USB jig service to your phone in order tto force it to boot into Recovery or Download mode. After that you can flash it.

Well Download the Heimdall Package. And run it for win or ubuntu and connect your device. Wait i will just post a full guide.

Hello Everyone, im new here and i am in dire need of help.
The other day i got my hands on a Kyäni Kynect 32013G from a friend and i decided i would root it and install new firmware, i used RKbatchtool v1.5 to do so... i followed instructions and everything went fine, untile the reboot, now its stuck on a black screen, i gues i used the wrong firmware... it does not show up in the manage devices either, so cant reinstall drivers etc.
Now my big question: can i go back and fix this somehow? or is just broken?

I actually found a Suitable Device but it makes problems after update of some Apps or 2nd Start it´ll stay in a bootloop. The suitable Device is Modecom FreeTAB 8002 IPS X2 3G+. Its the same Tablet and so on but the actual Firmware makes any Problems as i wrote. Now i will try to make an own Firmware with the Firmware of the Modecom Tab but i need to read how i can make it. When someone can help me i would be really happy =))

I just flashed a useless MLM kyäni kinect tablet with MODECOM FreeTAB 8002 IPS X2 3G+ ROM and it's fully working
and debranded now - meaning there is nothing from Kyani MLM company there anymore. Simply flashing
stock MODECOM ROM works, no need for any modified ROMs.
First I applied this driver auto-installer RK_DriverAssitant.zip from here:

After entering bootloader (you'll see blank screen) i used "Restore" option (not "Upgrade"!).
Internal 3G is also working, as far as i can tell (didn't test calling, but network scan works)

By mistake I ordered a K3, not the note version.
From what I came to know is that this device is intended for the Asian market only.
The phone has really bad software, and after a bit of searching on this forum and Google I have yet to find an answer to the following questions:
Is it possible to install another rom on this phone?
Are there any out there?
Is it the same phone as the A6000 (or does it accept the same roms)?
I have rooted/installed firware on phones before.

On your current (stock) rom:
- Download all the software needed: https://ufile.io/a8497
- Enable USB Debugging after connecting it to your pc.
- Download TWRP for A6000 (unzip on your pc)
- Download K30-W_MIUI6_5.1.23_liuxingghost-0501251930-RUS-UK-MIUI.SU_v2.zip and place it on your phone's SD-card!
- Open "Boot-TWRP_A6000.bat"
- Phone will reboot into recovery
- Wipe > Advanced wipe
- Select first 4 options and wipe
- Go back to the main menu of TWRP and "install zip"
- Select the rom, and install.
After the rom is installed, the boot will take LONG to the point you will think the flashing has failed. Don't worry, it will boot, this is only the first time.
If it asks to update, don't it will fail.
OPTIONAL: After rom booted, put Google_installer.apk on your SD and run it from the file explorer, install ALL parts of the software to get play store working.
OPTIONAL: Install galleryGoogle.apk to get the standard android gallery, the one provided sucks imo.
The rom is only in chinese/enlish, but the standard software is so crappy and bloated, that this is a hell of a lot better.
After a bit of configuring I managed to get it all to proper English, and got play store working. The phone runs smoothly, and everything is working fine (even 4G).

MIUI version 5.1.23 | Beta
I am not responsible for bricking your phone!
If anyone could provide me with a better rom I would be very happy, although this one is working fine for the moment.

You may want to read through this thread, the ROM linked above is in post #25(message#25) in the thread linked below. There are also many different ROMs there that you might can use with a little bit of work to set it up.
