This was also asked for in another thead...but didn't want to clutter that thread up and have this MOD get lost, so here you go guys....if you are looking for a clear taskbar!!!
You can just flash right over Aloysius Theme or ROM only! If you use another ROM you will have only some color menus. You need to flash the Aloysius Theme first then this MOD
IF SOMEONE CAN SEND ME A SCREENIE OF THE NEW TASKBAR....I WILL UPDATE THE PHOTO BELOW WITH IT THANKS!!!!!

The icons in the pic above, are not the icons I have in the flashable zip. This was just a screenshot from another phone...that has a clear task bar, so I could show what it "would" look like. Until of course someone sends me a screenie of how it really looks on their EVO
So this MOD actually has been done before....I believe on many different devices, including the Hero

lol...you did good, just sent from taptalk...it shrinks the image a great deal.
With the few lingering taskbar icons throughout the ROMS you might get a black squared TB Icon here and there. But if you flash my Aloysius ROM or theme for Damage Control, you'll get "almost" zero black squared taskbar icons. Unless of course you're all set with your current set up.
Being happy with what you have is what it's all about!

one more question will this change the icons also? if so can you do one with the stock icons please im trying to go for a clean look and the stock icons are perfect thank you

That my friend is going to take me a long, long time to do. I will try to get it done, but the icons I did for Aloysius...getting them all to have transparent backs and not black squares took me a few weeks (with juggling my personal life). So, I will def put it on my list of things to do....but no guarentees on when it will arrive
The small things like clear taskbar/lockscreen/rosie are easy.....40+ taskbar icons, not so much.

oh i see well maybe you can just do the major ones, the ones that are usually ALWAYS on you know like, gps,3g, 4g, location services,the battery and time...i dont really care about having all the app icons be transparent...
ok another question if i flash this will this JUST change the icons in the taskbar? or will it also change the icons everywhere else?

So here's my deal (she says with a smile) ... I installed the clear taskbar mod over Calkulin's ROM. His ROM already has the lockbar skinned clear. After installing, the lockbar was black.
I then installed your clear lockbar mod and crossed my fingers. That put the black boxes around the icons in the taskbar.
I AM NOT COMPLAINING! I am just sharing. I think your mods look great. I know how much work goes into these mods (just reading tutorials tires me out. LOL).
It was just funny to me.

I installed over fresh .3 and while the notification bar looks pretty nice, there are a few other things that are screwed up like audio manager pro widget and the power control widget. Thank God for nandroid

i'm not sure what youre talking about. this is the power widget on the notification bar with the toggles for wifi,gps,bluetooth,sync,flashlight and silent.

alright, I like that pentagram pulldown background. id like "incredevo" above it in same font you had but orange and can you make it a darker type green...glassy looking if possible but doesnt matter and without the fire and 80% transparent, can u leave the widgets from warm rls4 in there? if not ust put them all in a black type widgets. black pulldown bar, 80% transparent status bar if possible....let me know if these options are ok sometimes Im ridiculously picky

Best battery icon ever! I Really dig your battery icon with the notches (reminds me of the golden eye watch/health). Is it possible to make the green not so bright? The green on the other circular battery icon is perfect (with the solid circle). Love your work, nonetheless

I'm running RLS4, and I love the look of Myncubus's pull down widget, but I wish it were the same green as all the other green highlights in the titlebar, not that value of white. I flashed the one in the link from Incubus's thread, but it kill the transparent titlebar. So here's my request: (I kinda rambled there, lol)
Pull down widget like Myn's, but with that beautiful green highlight for on instead of white.
With your circle battery, transparent titlebar, and the 4th image in the notification pull down bar section (It says Incredevo and has Warm 2.2 on the right hand side.)

Got some updates on Funkenblack and got the kinks out of 6-bar. Not much more planned besides finishing funkenred until SR 4 comes out. So far we have the Status bar, launcher, dial pad, lockscreen and various other elements themed to our liking.
Includes (as of 3/22/2011)

6-bar service mod
inverted contacts (all thanks go to JsChiSurf)

Instructions
Install like any other update zip through either Clockworkmod or Rom Manager. Scripts should all be Edify so its CWM 3 compatible. It does write over your com.htc.resources, framework-res, and your services.jar so any previous changes/themes will be overwritten.
We've also included just the 6-bar mod without the rest of the theme, with an update zip for both a white status bar, as well as a black(dark) status bar. These should work with just about any other ROM/Customisation for Athena. Download and flash accordingly. Also funkenblack already has the working 6-bar included so there's no need to get either of these with the theme.
Note any changes to the services.jar grants a long boot/reboot so be ready to wait a little bit.
I believe we've worked out all the bugs but if you find any let us know and we'll fix it as quick as possible.

This mod uses Android default PNG's.
6 bar black statusbar is more for developers. It's just services.jar with 6 bar and white clock. I don't think there are currently any other themes with a black statusbar for Athena.

Very nice guys. I've switched to cm7 for the time being after getting bootloops with warm and Magnolia and while waiting for lou to update things. But this could bring me back to the ihtfp fold.

Like incredibly re-engineered's theme?

Well, and this is purely personal preference, I'm not a huge fan of green. Re-Engineered's theme would be a great port if you could do it. Otherwise I can give it a go, i've just never had luck successfully decompiling/editing xmls/recompiling. Just png changes.

Thanks Pete. There will be a minor update this weekend. I still don't know what to do about the drop down statusbar text color. It will be a major project to change the color. So for now I'm trying to decide what background will look best. Gonna start themeing launcher and menu this weekend aswell.

Yea eventually. I still have a few more things I want to finish on this theme. But down the road I'd like to release a red and honeycomb theme for both skyraider and Athena. School is taking up too much of my liesure time this semester tho, so it may be awhile. I seen a cool dropdown mod that I have to try implement into this theme.

I've started work on a red version. No promises on when I'll finish it but it shouldn't be to long. I'll put a link up when i think its at least usable. anyway hopefully you guys will enjoy it. After that I'll look into a honeycomb theme.

Where can I find that wallpaper in the screenshots?
Also, my status bar was solid black, now after a couple days it is fading back and forth from black to green. I actually love it, just wondering if that is new, or if it is trying to tell me something. LOL, can this theme auto update???

I cant remember where i found the wallpaper but I was planning on making it part of the theme but until then I'll try get a link up. As for the status bar fading to green, I believe thats just part of athena and appears at certain times like during a phone call.

Just got a red version finished there should be a link in the second post in the morning. Its not a completely finished product but looks pretty good i think. anyway goodluck and let me know if you find any flaws that should be fixed besides the ones mentioned in the second post.

To be honest I likely wont make this for the theme chooser while I respect all the people who are making themes using the theme chooser I personally can't see myself investing that much time into something with less functionality than what I have now, I like the idea that I wont have to port it when new versions come out but the minor agro I go through with that is nothing compared to the theme chooser so far /rant

those are controlled by the systemUI.apk the status_bar_expanded.xml
you will have to add in the color code you want by adding in
android textcolor="#ff33ff33" <- thats the color code for bright green you might want to find a color code that matches androidian
there are 3 lines that need to be changed (i will post the lines from the .xmls when i get to my PC)
sadly the theme chooser to my knowledge cant make those changes

are you looking for the text color of ongoing, no notifications, notifications or the color of the strip they sit on?
the strip they sit on is controlled by a png i think that can be controlled by the theme chooser, and also the sprint banner and the power widget is all the same png
color code for black is #00000000 btw a dark gray i think is #00151515

I am looking to change the background banner color, which is currently white. I guess I didn't think of it but if I change that to black, I would then need to change the text color too, lol. If you are cool with it, PM the how to on both (and a .png/dropbox link? for the bg if you have it), I will try to fing the GB green color code for text.

i think i can do that

#ffbaff00 is the color I used for the minimal green board that I run with androidian. Matches rather ok, imho.

Typeface used is Roboto, because it is sexy.
The old font was the Darkstar/Coconut font from Myn's Warm Two point two

Wow! This looks amazing! Its kinda MIUI ish. I've been thinking about flashing MIUI but all the new builds are super buggy. Thanks for this! time to move on from evolved androids theme that I've been running since v.0.6 came out haha

Some people have told me that the date on the lock screen isn't lining up right if they change fonts. I'm looking in to this to see how I can fix it. I figure the easiest way will be to just modify the lockscreen bar so it is larger.

My wife is out of town this weekend, so I am going to go through the base theme and make sure everything is themed. From there, if people tell me the widgets they want themed and I will work on them. I don't use most of the sense widgets (outside of agenda) so it doesn't really impact me if they aren't themed.

My laptop just came back from the shop, and I am planning on spending some time finishing things up Sunday. So unless my wife decides I am not allowed to work on this...

Update: 500 more images to sift through in framework-res and I will be all done.
Should have it this week. Turn-around once v0.1.0 drops will be quick.

Updated the theme to v0.99. The only thing left is the green UI elements in the stock SMS. I will get those fixed in v1.0 when the new version of the rom comes out.
At that point, it will be done for what I need out of a theme. I am open to work on any widgets or other theming stuff that anyone else would want, so just let me know.

Quick question...which font did you use in previous version(s) of this theme? I just flashed .99 and the new font seems a little big, especially on the lockscreen. Could be that I just got used to the other font, but I think I wanna go back to using that one.

The old font was the Darkstar/Coconut font from Myn's Warm Two point two.

I switched to Roboto because some of the bowl shapes and overall letter forms of Darkstar were bothering me. It was a little too stylized and I felt the legibility of Roboto made it a better choice for the typeface to use on a phone.

I have noticed that the x-height and line spacing of Roboto on the lock screen seems to be a bit too large. I did a quick fix for this by increasing the height of the orange bar, but the date is not vertically centered on the bar. I am working on fixing the colors in the messaging apk now in hopes of having that ready for whenever V0.1.0 of the rom drops, and will go back to the layout XML of the lockscreen after that to see what I can do with the type layout.

Not sure if I'll wait for the updates or if I'll switch back now. If I do decide to switch, is the font available somewhere to use through FontChanger or do I need a zip to flash?

The roboto typeface? I know there are a few different flashable zips out there. If you can't find one let me know and I can get one posted up.
I don't use font changer myself, so I am not sure what is available for that.

Yeah, I can whip that up when I get get back home from Austin. I am just confused by what you mean by the orange icon. Did you mean to make the bar transparent and leave the icons the way they are?
Also did you want full on transparency or mostly transparent?
