Hello,
To install Real ICS r6, you'll need to first install 4.1.B.0.587 Stock Rom for a successful update.
Install 4.1.B.0.587 Stock Rom, if you have done that already, then making sure you've the root permissions with ClockWork Mod recovery.
You can then go to ClockWork Mod recovery, follow the instructions from the XDA thread for the same.
Note: Before you start with these, you'll need to flash the recommended kernel.
Anyone of these
KRsH Kernel ICS
EXtended Stock Kernel
MESA Kernel
I have only tried EXtended Stock Kernel so far. That said, the Real ICS r6, is having minor bugs, I prefer r5.2 over r6. I have also not seen the blue spotted hexagon in r6.
Good Luck!

You've not unlocked the bootloader. There is something that you're missing to have done. It should work, if you've successfully unlocked the bootloader. I just tried HASA MIUI ROM, check it out. Its fantastic!

Is Unlocking the bootloder is necessary to load the ICSr6 in LWW.
How can i install the MESA Kernel via flash tool.
Is installing MESA Kernal necessary to run real ICSr6.
Hi Friends,
I successfully installed the Real ICSr6 in my LWW.
Below i am mentioning the steps to how to install Real ICSr6, i think it may be helpfull to somebody to install this.
First of all u should root your phone, Then install the CWM mode, then fastboot the kernel, and then install the Real ICS r6 from SDcard.
How to Root LWW or Xperia 2011 series mob's.
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/41119?start=0&tstart=0
For installing the Real ICSr6 u should unlock the bootloder. For unlocking the boot loder for Xperia 2011 series phone u should get the unlocking code from the sony mobile site ( http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/ ) follow this link and get the unlocking bootloder code.
For unlocking the boot loder Download the "fastboot" drivers from here. Install them accordingly.
Turn off your phone. Wait for 30 seconds. Connect your phone to the PC while keeping the volume up key pressed. Your phone's LED will lit blue (indicating fastboot mode).
Head over to the location where you kept the previously unzipped fastboot folder. Right click while keeping pressed the SHIFT key on the folder and select "Open command prompt here"
Type fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version to ensure your have entered bootloader mode (you will get version on java example, 0.3)
Type fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY (replace KEY with unlock code you got from Sony's website earlier)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOTLODER IS UNLOCKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then disconnect the mob from ur PC.
FLASHING KERNAL
For Installing Real ICSr6 u should use the kernal MESA(recomended), KRsH Kernel ICS, EXtended Stock Kernel
for downloading u can visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707876
After downloading this.
Open the flash tool that u earlier installed for rooting ur mobile.
Click on the lightning bolt sign and select "Fastboot mode" and click OK.
Switch off ur Mobile and press the Vol UP key and connect it ur computer. Now your phone is in fast boot mode.
Now Click on "select kernel to flash" in Flashtool.
Browse to the folder where you placed the *.img file and select it.
Flashtool will install the kernel into your phone. Disconnect your phone from the PC. Wait 30 seconds.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now successfully install the KERNEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Installing The Custom ROM (Real ICSr6)
First of all copy the Real ICSr6 file in ur phones SDcard.
Then Turn your phone on. When you see the Sony or Sony Ericsson logo on the screen, keep pressing the volume down key. It will take you to the CWM recovery mode, which was installed automatically with the kernel.
Use the volume up and down keys to navigate through menu items and the Home key for selecting.
Do a full wipe (format data, system, cache, Dalvik cache and battery cache).
Choose "install from SD card" and then select "choose zip file". Select the ROM file first (MiniCMSandwich Lite Final v4).
It will take you to the very much intuitive Aroma installer, which is very easy and much like installing an operating system on your PC.
After finishing the installation, your phone will reboot. While rebooting, enter the CWM Recovery again using the volume down key.
This time, do not wipe anything. Just select "install zip from SD card" and point to the wifi modules zip file. Similarly, install the Google Apps zip file.
Turn off your phone from the CWM Recovery menu.
Turn on your phone, first boot may take a long time, do not worry.
Now you should get a pure AOSP flavor in your Xperia device.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the New ICSr6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to all developers XDA.
HIT THANKS IF I HELP U

Alot of the guides floating around showing how to flash back to stock rom is incomplete ( missing a few steps ) and will result in boot loop most of the time. the correct procedure is :
Part 1 : Setting up Fastboot.
1. Make sure you have java installed, if not get it from here : http://java.com/ and install it.
2. Download the Android SDK manager from here : http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html ( get the exe download )
3. Install SDK manager, then run the android SDK manager.
4. Once launched it will show you available updates, choose ONLY these two "Android SDK Platform Tools and Android SDK Tools" and update them.
5. After update is complete close the sdk manager and go to the SDK manager platform-tools folder, normal path is : ( C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools )
6. Copy the following 3 files from this folder : "adb.exe" , "AdbWinApi.dll" and "fastboot.exe"
7. go to your c drive ( c:\ ) and make a new directory called "fastboottools"
8. copy the 3 files above into your fastboottools folder.
9. so now your should have a folder like this : "c:\Fastboottools" with the following 3 files in it "adb.exe" , "AdbWinApi.dll" and "fastboot.exe".
Click to collapse
That is it, Fastboot tools is setup. Proceed to next guide.
Part 2 : Flashing guide.
1. download the ROM from here:
ruu_chacha_htc_asia_wwe_1.57.707.2_radio_47.23.35. 3033h_7.51.35.19_release_228383_signed.zip
or here ( mirror link ) : ruu_chacha_htc_asia_wwe_1.57.707.2_radio_47.23.35.3033h_7.51.35.19_release_228383_signed.zip
2. Extract and copy the system.img AND boot.img to the same directory as your fastboot tools "C:/fastboottools" ( make sure to copy both files )
3. Enter the fastboot mode on your phone by pressing volume down + power button after the device has been turned off.
4. Choose fastboot on the phone by pressing power button, and then connect your phone to your PC
5. Using fastboot tools, open the Command prompt and navigate to "C:\fastboottools" then run this command on cmd: "fastboot flash system system.img"
6. Dont reboot, Using fastboot tools, run this command on cmd: "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
( The two commands in step 5 and 6 are different, make sure to type each one correctly and to do them straight after each other )
7. Reboot phone. let it boot up, you will still get bootloop or error message.
8. Take out the battery.
9. Boot back into bootloader ( Volume down + power ).
10. Now choose recovery.
11. Phone should now reboot itself and bam, all should now work fine.

after trying EVERYTHING else, this is the method that worked for me, i tried to cover every step possible ( alot of the other guides skipped few steps and that is where i got problems ).
hope this helps.
( PLEASE BE AWARE : This will remove recovery and root. if you flash back to stock rom using this method you will have to root your phone again. It will still be unlocked, just recovery and root will be removed. to re add recovery and root check part 3 below. )
Part 3 : Add recovery and root access back after installing stock rom.
1. Download the following 2 files, you will need them :
PH06IMG.zip
su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip
2. Extract PH06img.zip to your "c:\fastboottools" directory. it will add the "recovery.img" file to fastboot.
3. Copy the file su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip to your phones SD card, dont change the name, keep it standard, just put it in the root directory of your SD card.
4. go to the settings on your phone "Settings -> Power -> and Uncheck Fast boot" ( This is important, make sure fastboot is unchecked.
5. Take out your battery, put battery back in and boot into bootloader ( hold down volumedown + power )
6. Choose fastboot on the phone by pressing power button, and then connect your phone to your PC
7. Go to the Fastboottools directory "c:\fastboottools", Hold CTRL+Shift and right click in that Folder and open Command Prompt.
8. type inside command prompt : "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and let it finnish, takes less than a minute.
9. reboot your phone, but reboot it back into bootloader ( hold down volumedown + power )
10. Now using volume keys choose "recovery" and press "enter" ( not power button, rather use enter button in recovery else you sometimes get a "hat like" picture on the screen )you should now see the recovery options.
11. find the "install zipd from sd card" option and press enter, then choose su-2.3.6.1-ef-signed.zip and confirm to flash it.
12. once flashed reboot the phone and you will now have recovery and root access back again.

it is recommended you update superuser to newer version and also install busybox.
Now that you have recovery installed you can also flash custom roms again.
I STRONLGY recommend once you reach this step that you make a backup of your rom via the bootloader recovery menu, that way you dont have to go through all this pain again next time.
The End !!!
feel free to post any problems you encounter below.

"still suffer the bootloop.
what am I supposed to do in the recovery step to get it working fine!
do i load the update.zip?
please reply if availale... am stuck on bootloop
ty
bootloop ussualy happens when you dont clear your cache properly before flashing.
Make sure to clear ALL cache, and also make sure to follow the steps exactly as they are posted, even if it looks like you can skip a step DON'T. do each step as posted, and clear all cache when you are told to. then you wont get boot loops.
Hi,
I bought HTC chacha locally at a online retailer. Its not tied to any sim/operator. However I am stuck at android version 2.3.3. (firmware version 1.20.720.1). If I try to run the (ota)software update, the phone says no updates available.
I really need to unlock the boot loader. However if I try the htcdev.com, the RUU utility says that the please update to 1.57.XX and then try unlocking the bootloader. I am really stuck here.
My question is can I try the steps mentioned above in this post to get the firmware update, with a locked bootloader?
Any other suggestions to update my firmware to the latest 1.57.XX?
--Thanks in Advance..
htc status restore factory 2.3.3
No, I didn't make a real backup! I thought titanium backup would cover that, it didn't, so I have no backup of the stock stuff.
I have a HTC Status (aka chacha) US ver with att. I unlocked the boot loader by htc's site, worked fine. Then I rooted it with cmw, worked great.
Recently the ota 2.3.5 update (48mb) became available. I downloaded it and tried to install it, it failed with checksum. I know it is the cmw mod. How can I get the stock load 2.3.3 back onto my htc status? The above directions mention the "asia" load. Are the files mentioned generic for all phones with the exception of the cid?
p.s. It would be great if someone out there had the stock 2.3.3 recovery file for the status! That would be easier to load than the sdk stuff.
update : both ruu files listed above show to be corrupt when unzipping.
Update: I installed a newer zip utility than the stock win xp one and it unzipped without any trouble. Moving on to the next step.
Update: all went well, except the "english" option, I chose english singapore. Installed cwm and rooted again. updated to 2.3.5. Thanks for the info above.
thank you!

A new ota update was available (1.57.707.3) but it won't install, it says the current rom seems to be altered and it refuses to install. So I went to htc.com/support and found the status page and downloaded the latest installer for 2.14.502.2 rom image. It fails with "security fail" under ruu in the phones bootloader screen.
The installer on the pc say's I must get the correct rom installer for my phone. I think it might have something to do with the asia chacha system and boot.img 2.3.3 stuff I installed.
Current software is android 2.3.5 and software 1.57.707.2
Is there anyway to get rid of cwm or force the new rom to install over the old?
Thanks man
Tried and made it
Work very fine except I cannot update sofware to newer version... Stuck on 1.54.401.2

I'm having the same issue.
You need the stock rom for the update to work. But frankly, I did not see any improvement. Battery life sucks.

Hello.
I have an Alcatel One Touch 908F running on Android 2.2.2 that I successfully rooted. Then I installed a CWM 5.0.2.7 recovery. But then, after flashing a custom ROM Android 2.3, it turns on but does not boot up anymore (Stuck at Alcatel One Touch logo).
So I booted to recovery and tried to flash my stock ROM, but it shows me "E: Cannot mount /sdcard". I got the same error by selecting the option "Mount /sdcard".
Then I booted it up into Fastboot mode and connected it to my PC. I typed the command "fastboot flash recovery ..." but then after sending the recovery successfully and when trying to write it, it shows me "FAILED (remote:flash write failure)". I tried to run the command "fastboot -w" and I got this :
Erase successful, but not automatically formatting.
File system type not supported.
Erase successful, but not automatically formatting.
File system type not supported.
erasing 'userdata'...
OKAY [ 0.599s]
erasing 'cache'...
OKAY [ 0.229s]
finished. total time: 0.834s
I always get the same errors though I slow-formatted the 2GB memory card in my phone to FAT32 multiple times and changed the USB port.
I guess that my phone is soft-bricked and that its internal memory is messed up (I am 80 percent sure).
Can you help me, please ? I looked for the solution for several weeks and couldn't figure it out. I'm now desperate.
Thank you very much.

PLZZ DONT FORGET TO HIT THANKS BUDDY
Maybe CWM Recovery 5.0.2.8 wil work
Sorry. But it does not detect my firmware. I tried selecting the other mode (fastboot) but it does not seem to work. Plus, I think flashtool is only for Sony Xperia devices while I have an Alcatel. Any other suggestions, please ? Thank you.
Thank you all for my help. I finally managed to get it right.
I changed the SD card and updated my CWM to 6 and it worked!
Hi Folks,
Disclosure: No responsibility taken or accepted in any form if the following process failed.
As forum rules prevented me from posting links try to understand how to find referred files.
1. Prepare a PC with Windows 7 installed and the automatic Windows driver update lookup function possibly disabled.
2. Download BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip (appr. 4 MB, from chainfire eu and copy it to the phone's SD card or to an external micro SD card.
3. Download the latest stock ROM and flash tool packed together (e.g. 'Be-Touch-2_150702_s7yler.zip') from needrom com . Search for ulefone-be-touch-2.
4. Download TWRP recovery image file from needrom com . Search for be-touch-2-twrp-2-8-7-0.
Extract the rar archive and rename recoverye.img to recovery.img
5. Extract 'Be-Touch-2_150702_s7yler.zip' and replace the recovery.img file in the "Be-Touch-2_150702_s7yler\One Key Flashing(Be Touch 2_150702)\software" folder with the one from the TWRP archive (see point 2).
6. Install the MTK chipset driver (it works on Win7 only at the present time):
- Navigate to the "Be-Touch-2_150702_s7yler\One Key Flashing(Be Touch 2_150702)\Driver Auto Installer" folder.
- Open a Command Window to see what happens on the command line.
- Run Install.bat with real Administrator priviledges (in most cases Run as Administrator may not be enough - refer to UAC).
- Wait until the driver installation is finished. You will see on the screen if the drivers were installed successfully (e.g. "Driver install done").
7. Flashing ROM
Notes:
- Flashing ROM will wipe all your data. If you have not done a backup before you will permanently lose your data!
- The doc file containing pictures included in the zip file can also be followed.
- Do NOT format your phone with the flashing tool, that can result in lost IMEI.
- For anvanced users: the flash_tool.exe in the Smart Phone Flash Tool package can also be used only to flash recovery.img using an enclosed scatter.txt file.
a/ Open the Be-Touch-2_150702_s7yler\One Key Flashing folder and run SP_Facility_DL_Tool.exe
b/ Turn off the phone, take out the battery, press the Scan button in the SP_DownLoad window then connect your phone to the PC via USB.
c/ After the text "N/A+COM(x)" appears on the left hand side of the window disconnect your phone, reinsert the battery, press the Start button and reconnect your phone via the USB cable.
d/ Wait until the flashing utility finishes updating the phone (e.g. the process bar shows 100 % on yellow background and "DL OK" can be read to the left of the process bar).
8. After flashing, enter the TWRP custom recovery: press vol up + power to boot for a few seconds then install BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip from your (external) SD card.
9. You are done with rooting.

Again, for advanced users: You can also use fastboot (get it elsewhere) to flash just the TWRP recovery without wiping the rest of the phone: (e.g. "fastboot.exe flash recovery recovery-betouch2.img"), then use it to install supersu. You can also then flash the stock recovery back over it if you wish. Works like a charm.

Yes you are right. The method I described above also updates to the latest(?) Ulefone ROM as of 02-07-2015.
Even you can flash a Carlive recovery (tried and works) based on the downloadable from the "Ulefone Be Touch 2, 5.5 Inch Full HD, Metal Frame, MT6752 64-bit, 3050mAh Battery" thread Post #76. Carlive (originated from CWM) lacks the annoying splash screen which is included in TWRP.
UPDATE: Never mind, I got it. WooHoo
Guys, how do I get to Fastboot mode on my BE Touch 2? I tried power + volume down, yet it takes me to chinese menu I do not understand.

Is there a way to root the Ulefone be touch one which is compatible with the last firmware ? (15/08/11)

Hello all,
Before all, yes I have read many thread about installing a Recovery on this Phone (LB & UB).
So, what I have done :
- Unlock the boot loader following the Sony's guide → OK
- Installing fastboot on my debian →OK
- Flashing boot following this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...2303-cwm-based-recovery-6-0-4-6-root-t2884503 → OK
- Now I have a "Cyanogen recovery"
- I want to change this Recovery to TWRP and I have following this topic : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/unlocked-bl-root-sony-xperia-m2-android-t3214498
I write this command :
Code:
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY-TWRP-2.8.7.0-D230X_D240X-UPDATED-THEME.img
Sending 'recovery'
OKAY
writing 'recovery'
OKAY
finished
But nothing happens I'm still stuck in 'cyanogen recovery'
Any idea what i have done wrong ?
Thank you !

Easy: that Cyanogen Recovery (which is an old version, btw) is stored in the boot image as a separate ramdisk, with a script that pops-up an LED to tell you to decide to open it or not. The TWRP recovery however is in a separate /recovery partition, and it can only be triggered via Vol- + Power until the BIG Sony logo pops-up. That's it. You can have both at the same time if you wish so

After several try, I never show the TWRP booting. Always stuck on the cynaogen recovery.
I has flashed again the phone with flashboot and the last stock system to reset completly all partitions → OK
I will retest this Week-end without the boot.img (Just TWRP) and let you now.
Thx again !
did you give root access to fastboot command? did you upgrade your bootloader?

Can't do that, because i am stuck with the cyanogen recovery and unable to start a ROM.
I have used the Flastools to restore an Official Stock Rom due to this.
I will change this phone on fews days, so I will retry later when giving the phone to my nephew.
Thank you for the time spend !

This is probably because you didn't do step one first. Step one unlocks the bootloader so you shouldn't receive this error when you try to flash recovery. If you can't do step one because android is out of date then you need to update android first. If you can't update android then welcome to the club, you probably have a cn recovery and need to update to ww. This can be down following these instructions assuming you have a z010d/sd410/8916 https://ainotech.com/how-to-flash-firmware-asus-zenfone-max-zc550kl-root-custom-twrp-recovery/ Follow the instructions for AFT.
However now I'm stuck on the bit everyone else is stuck on. Once TWRP is flashed, how to boot directly to that instead of android first??
EDIT: I figured it out. It's because this build of twrp 3.2 and even 3.1 is broken for this device. Flashing twrp 3.0 works fine but of course that doesn't support many modern custom roms so it doesn't really help.
