status7 problem. Need help!!! - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've recently rooted my transformer tf101g which was running on 4.0.3 and decided to give a try to CM10. After the installation its stuck on bootscreen and decided to revert it back to stock and come up with status 7 when I was trying. Why did this happen and how can I fix this?

[Q]CWM bootloop

Hi all I decided to try and run a custom ics build a couple days ago everything went smoothly, I got the lastest AOKP build running with tastymeh kernel. Well tonight I disabled the boot animations and it seems as though I'm stuck bootlooping into the latest cwm(touch). I've tried reflashing the rom/kernal/wipe dalvik/etc to no avail. And my Nandroid backup isn't showing up to make matters worse. I can't even power down my device it just keeps bootlooping. I was wander what the best method to return to complete stock rom? Thanks everyone

[Q] How helpful is the latest firmware

Hello,
Is anyone used the latest firmware from ASUS (9.2.1.21) and did it resolve the random reboot and screen flickering issue with TF101 ?
I'm asking above question because of following reason...
I have rooted TF101 running on ICS (revolver ROM), after i updated from Honeycomb i have an issue of random restart as my tablet randomly shuts down and gets stuck on ASUS start screen and i have to cold boot it at least once a day.
Since i had this problem i guessed problem is due to stock ICS so i installed custom ICS on my tablet but the problem never went away (before anyone can say anything, i have tried all ROMs available on XDA).
ASUS just few days back released a new firmware update (9.2.1.21), so i was wondering whether issue is still there or not as now i'm thinking of reverting back to stock ROM and hoping this random reboot issue might get resolved..
If anyone has any idea i will be greatful to you as i'm fed up with these bugs of late...

No, the latest update did not fix the RR's or the SOD. (I never had screen flickers?) .. anyhow, you can still use wakelock, but your battery drain will suck. Asus = #FailingAgain

thanks for the info.... Asus has two important products to take care of and they cannot.... stupidest part is its a stock ICS with no skin.... Says a lot about Asus support...

You can Nvflash a stock ROM, but Guevor's kernel will also fix your wifi issues. Don't use ROM manager, it causes bootloops. Also try a different ROM (which did you flash), and you must get the CM9/AOKP based kernel to get wifi to work on an AOSP ROM. (See megatron version in guevor's thread)

Reverted to stock

Hi all, I decided I'd return my tf101 to ASUS stock firmware from TeamEos 4.2. So I duly flashed the f/w and all seemed to take OK, until I rebooted, the tf got stuck at the Android is updating stage, I tried reflashing everything but no good. This is not a request for help but more of a WTF. I have it working now thanks to NVFlash but I would like to understand why my first effort didn't work.
Different bootloader for JB, perhaps.
