[Sources][CWM-Touch] CWM-Merruk Recovery Compiled from sources for Samsung Galaxy Y

Hello Everybody's, How are you hop all is fine.
MerrukTechnology Touch Recovery v1.0.8.5​
This is the FIRST CWM Compiled from sources for Samsung Galaxy Y, and that's not All, It's a Touch Recovery based on CWM Recovery 5.0.2.7 from [Napstar], and Updated with fixes from 5.8.x.x.
Features :
Removed ----Go Back---- from menu we have touch now
Fixed most install issues.
Better support for Ext4/3/2 now now my system has ext4 but you need MerrukTechnology Kernel. the latest one.
Mount SDcard from Recovery.
You can always use the old buttons
Added Power Off Button.
and a lot of fixes
am working on a new structure for a new design or New Recovery with icons.

yes like the other recovery from madteam or skins but this is great one better than the others encrypted systems support better support for ext4. and a lot of things

I am currently using your Merruk Kernel 2.0 (thanks for that) .. I install the zip and nothing happened.. are there any requirements for this?

if yes i will ask you to do something for me.
i don't have this problem cause am using the latest kernel

Tried installing CWM by Mad team.. stock on the promt "Replacing ...."
I flashed the Merruk Kernel 1.0.8 and got the same result sir.

I believe you can use his CWM to all installation of ROMs and all the zip files. it is still a CWM

Not working now:

U need to set the apns in settings to enable the data
How to flash :
- Tested on ATT and Asia verison mb865
- U should flash this rom on an ICS rom(I mean, your kernel should be 3.X, and your stock rom should be ics)
- If you're on CM10, flash via cm's recovery
If you're on other roms, Install bootstrap to flash this rom
- Boot menu manager is not supported ATM!!!!
DO NOT install ANY recovery apps again after U installed this rom
- Wipe/Reboot & enjoy it
Phone will boot loop a few times on reboots and zip installs.
How to boot into CM bootmenu:
- During power on, when U see the led turns RED, press(NOT press hold, just press again and again) the volum key down
- U can starting press the volum key down when U saw the moto logo if U don't know when to press this key

i think acc to me he is saying that dual boot is not still supported by rom other than that you can install it on first system through bootmanager
as it is based on cwm recovery only
but beware its just my thought :victory:

No, I think not support this. Maybe U can try using this to flash as a 1st system. I'm not sure about flashing as 1st system, but I definitely sure not support flashing as 2nd system.

no i checked it out its not working in bootmenu give error 7
but it works in bootstrap atleast installed lets see whats happen

I hav a question,after flash the zip did i need to install gapps?

no forks... no code... just putting the right files in the right places and rebuilding using the kitchen. we will have to get the code once you are ready to release, so that we can include those files in the build. I have also updated the APNS and fixed an ril lib issue that we were seeing on the AT&T version of the phone. Once we have the fixes I will up and put a link in here, so that the AT&T users are good, most likely the other international users as well.

This CM10 will supports ATT AT2 or any international phones ?

So far any of the MB865s, seem to work. rdavisct and I only have the AT&T version so we only have that to work with.
To everyone out there, if you want your apn in the updates that rdavisct and I are working, please send me the /system/etc/apns-conf.xml file, and we will add ANY international APNs you would like, just please make sure and tell me which APN from your conf file you would like me to pull and put in there.

Um guys maclaw abandoned cm9 when it still was in code merger state so am presuming there will be a lot of unresolved bugs (My thoughts).

we know that is no 100% working CM9 port
And no one needs permission from Maclaw coz he isnt in XDA and he stopped CM9 for fit a long long time ago.

Sir Savie uses scripts to switch rom.
What mohd. anwar is trying to do is
make gui which will help in selecting the rom while booting the phone.

No I merged prebuilt CM9 rom with prebuilt FFOS binaries using fosmaker. But I'm trying to build it from the source these days. Actually I got it to boot but the gui is not coming up. We'll see in few weeks.

Nice. Just waitin' for camera and ril fix and then I'll try this. Good luck with working on it.
P.S. Maybe somebody (sb with good camera) could make a video and place it on YT?

Don't hold your breath though, I have an exam coming up and I can only start working on a fix after that.

PROBLEM SOLVED. Use the Firefox Os.sim card problem fixed here,now you can call,you can text,you can browse. Do everything whatever you want
Just try my B2G folder in the Rom.
It was taken form my brother's Rom,
Get the Rom from here:

What you need to do:
>Just get the Rom from above one link,
>Then extract that by 7zip
>Copy the b2g folder and paste it to @madushan1000 's Rom
>Add to Archive
>flash it and enjoy

I didn't test.bcoz I don't have DHD.even I don't have any other phone

Read my thread properly(screenshots are from HTC explorer).you can get the same from DHD

Tried to replace files but the guy who made it for DHD has all the folders packed in .img's and I can't unpack them using windows.

Use the ext4unpaker to edit that.
