Installation Instructions:
1. Download the MOD from above
2. Using any file explorer, navigate to /system
3. Replace the current build.prop file with the new one.
4. Set Permissions to RW-R--R--
5. Change Owner & Group to root if not done by default.
6. Reboot Into Recovery Mode.
7. Clear Dalvik Cache.
6. Reboot.
Extra's
Available In Version 1.1 And After
Lock Launcher/App In Memory
1. Open build.prop
2. Sroll down to find "sys.keep_app_1=put-process-name-of-app-here"
3. Replace "put-process-name-of-app-here" with the process name of the app you want to lock.
4. Save the file.
5. Reboot!
Finding Process Name
For finding the process name of a app, navigate to data/data and search for the app name.
Eg: For Apex Launcher, process name would be - com.anddoes.launcher
Experimental Tweaks
By default experimental tweaks have been disabled in the build.prop. For trying them out and see how they work for you, just remove "#" from the starting of any tweak.
Remember : Do not remove "#" from the line "# Experimental Tweaks". Remove "#" from the tweaks below the heading.

After I rebooted my phone I just got a black screen. I am on CM10 alpha 2 when I did this tweaking, luckly I did a nandroid backup so i just restored it.

Long press the file and select "Set Permissions" from the options!

You need read and write permission for it!
If you are using root explorer, click r/o to change it to r/w

Discontinued for right now!
Just edit the normal one - change LCD density from 240 to 100. Should do the trick. Take a nandroid backup before trying!

i don't think it Will Crash Since thunderBolt is an overall System tweaks and Mine is a RAM script So you can try it!!

It is Optimized For 512HB Devices(400-512 RAM)But you can try it but result May differt us the hardware change!!

yes you can,just if you read the OP I said C kerenls too and MIUI use a CM kernel!
Actually, it will clash with ThunderBolt! as it is setting some of the tunables that ThunderBolt! also sets. :/
AFAIK all of the tunables in here are already in ThunderBolt! (using ThunderBolt!'s values though).

Good job dude. Just a little question. Does it clash with options in tweak app (options like like ram min free, i/o schedular etc) which get installed with UC doomlord's kernel?? Also I have a small problem. I have observed that many times my some apps get auto closes automatically while doing multitasking. Can u make a script which will help me to keep apps open in background until I close it manually??

First to Avoid Any Clash Disable Zipalign+RAM script in Tweaks app and for The closed Apps while Multitasking is due to the LMK(Low Memory killer),you can use you're phone without My script Because The I9003 had 487 of RAM witch Make it Less Lags and an other think this script is made for heavy users or the ones who want to say good bye to lags !!

Half a year after I bought a Defy+, I made my first ROM. As I used to did with the Omnia 2 ROMs, I made this one for myself also, but I share with the community, because I'm such a nice guy. If you want, you can give me advices or ideas.
The base of this ROM is the official DFP-231 rooted Gingerbread ROM. I removed some stuff and added apps and features what I missed from the official one. The ROM is a smooth and relatively fast ROM with additional features.
I don't want to change the World with this ROM and it's not a competitor of the big ones (CM, MS2G, etc.) either. It's mainly created for speed and battery saving.

The modules are not implemented, so i guess the overclocking isn't working. I have the modules, but I not tried it yet.
As i have tried the overclock is working but very hard on DFP-231.
I have installed one patch as i remember with the boot menu to make it work.

Thanks, I'll look into it. However my ROMs main purpose is the battery saving. I'm trying sqeeze the longest battery time from the phone as possible without removing anything necessary. And in the meantime the phone must be as fast as possible also.
When i try restore system i have md5 mismatch (RapiDroid_Alpha_2.7). Someone have the same problem ?

But 100% JPG-Compression doesn't make images become better. The higher the compression, the worse the image quality, the smaller the images....

MD5 is fine, I just checked. Try update your cwm recovery or use 7Zip to unzip the compressed file you downloaded instead of other program (WinRAR, etc.).
Or maybe you renamed any of the files or edited the md5 with a non-unix text editor?

I'm looking for a compromise wth this ROM and I don't want to give up any speed. This version already a 3+ days ROM for me and it's way faster than the original DFP-231.
Could you please tell me how to enable all wifi channels and set jpeg compression to 100%?
Im on stock now(rooted) and I only need these two changes.

Put these to build.prop:
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
ro.mot.deep.sleep.supported=true
ro.wifi.channels=14 (you just need to edit this, because it's already there, but with 11)

After starting the bootprocess it came to a freeze during "optimize android"
how much does the first boot take?I'm using ginger revenge 1.1.3 with brood kernel 1.3 and I deleted all 4 files in init.d.I did everything it says in installation but my phone got stuck at samsung galaxy s plus logo after boot animation for 5 minutes already.

Don't delete allthe file's... Read carefully... Delete files including custom tweaks.

yep, was both mounted. no success.
But i am happy with my combination of ROM and kernel actually. So do not miss anything. Only liked to try the scripts.

Use root explorer, go to system/etc/init.d and remove tweaks scrip..

Flashed it, so far so good. Boot time wasnt really that long guys....... Im going to reserve judgment for a couple days. Was using pimp my rom but will give this a try. Im to the point where my init.d and build.prop are all custom with very little 'stock' left to them. Love My G2X. Thanks for your work.

The application VIPER4ANDROID is a heavy CPU user.
When in use it will drain more battery but it results in a
awesome music experience!
Convoler uses a lot of CPU power. In deepsleep (screen off)
and most of the time you will hear some disturbance and
interups (some "pop" sounds) this is due to the lack of power
for the application.
Some tips to minimalize this:
Use a higer frequency
Use a other Governor (SmartAssV2, Performance)
Don't use any other sounds mods with V4A.

If your question was: Can i install GB after CM9 answer is yes.
If you want to install my rom, just install it from recovery, do not wipe anything.Setup will do that for you .

Problem in boot.img... I faced that too .... Than i flash skyhigh kernel on this rom than it booted.. So u have to flash kernel separately.

So , if I from CM10 , I just need to install the rom without wipe data? Because before this , I can flash the rom , but unfortunately it stuck at the Samsung bootanimation :silly: , and I suggest to make a banner for us user to have it as our signature

yes , i have make a fresh install before, from CM10.1 , wipe data , format system , wipe cache , wipe dalvik cache. But still stuck at the bootanimation. Btw I'm using CWM 5.5.0.4 :silly:

yes , i have make a fresh install before, from CM10.1 , wipe data , format system , wipe cache , wipe dalvik cache. But still stuck at the bootanimation. Btw I'm using CWM 5.5.0.4 :silly:

Try flashing skyhigh kernel separately... It works for me... I hope it works for u too..... I have flashed on twrp.... But i dont think recovery does this.... It shud work on cwm too......

Any problems with latest build?
Does it stuck on bootanimation?
It may have some problems with boot.img flashing.That is from updater-script.
Try the following:
In recovery, format boot and system.
Flash the ROM.
Report.

Mine is perfectly working... i flashed in the same way....
1- wipe data/ wipe system/wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache
2- Install Rom
3 wipe cache/dalvik cache
4 Flash Kernel and Reboot.

Ah, in non touch CWM there is such an option to do this.
In recovery format->boot afaik.

1.0.5working fine ... just installed the ROM .... working flawlessly .....
just one thng i'm missing is the fast charge feature .... just wanted to know if it can be inmplemented
