Apex Launcher - missing actions - Asus Transformer TF700

Hi everyone,
I am trying to personalize my Asus Infinity using Apex Launcher Pro, but I am stuck trying assign action. So where is the problem. I've created text using Simple Text and I would like to assign action for this text to switch it to other screen but when I choose shortcuts >> Apex actions >> there is no any screen swicher (other actions are still there). But when from desktop I want to add screen swicher I just tap and hold >> Apex actions and ... there is Screen1, Screen2, ....but when I want to did it from other apps these screen swichers are missing. Any ideas ??

[Q] Launch another screen with text

Hi all,
Anybody know how to create shortcut text in home screen , when we tap that it is launch / go to another screen. I try with minimalistic text but i don't know how to launch another screen, just launch to application. Thank you before
I am not sure that I understand what you mean by "go to another screen". Are we talking about another page of the launcher (home screen) application?

Yes, to another page. I want text as link i.e I'm create "Social" text in home screen, i need that is will refer to social page, News will refer to news page. I already install minimalistic text, but i don't know how to refer to another page. Just refer linking to apps, not to another page. Thank you very much
I'm having it on my tab. I'm using ADW. It has Launcher Actions. From there you can create icon to jump to screen 1, 2, 3, ...etc. Then you just change the icon into text style.
I don't think you can do it in general. I am looking at the source code for Android 2.1 launcher (in packages/apps/Launcher directory), and there is a method (Launcher.setScreen()) that they use to change the active screen, but it is only called internally from Workspace.java in three places: at initialization, to set the default value, on restoring the instance state, and when scrolling.
It is possible that the particular launcher application you use allows external intents to set the home screen, but I wouldn't know how to track it down without access to the source code.

I was using that before switching to ADW. I do not recall go launcher having that function. Honestly, I prefer ADW over go launcher now.
APex is great too , smooth and fast , may do what you asking for

[GUIDE | TRICK | HACK] [UNIVERSAL] Change the theme of AOSP keyboards without PC

Hey Folks !
I'm revealing a Trick Hope you will really like it
How To Change Stock/AOSP Keyboard's Theme In Realtime
If you use AOSP Keyboards , you can change the look and feel of the keyboard.
It has few built-in themes, but they're not available in the settings.
How to do ?
OK let's continue
First, you need an application that lets you create shortcuts to app activities. For example: Nova Launcher and Apex Launcher, so install any from these two.
Long press on home screen and pick "shortcuts" and then "activities".
Scroll down to the Google Keyboard entry, expand the list and pick "Android keyboard debug settings"
Create a shortcut for this activity. Now tap the new shortcut.
There will be "Keyboard theme"
Simply choose the theme that you like
That's all ! Enjoy

[Resolved] [Q] Binding App Drawer to Home button (or Home2 Shortcut, or file)?

Hey
I just installed stable CM7.2 (android 2.3.7) on my Defy (jordan) and it looks great, but there's one thing I'm way to used too that's gone: pressing the home button when already on the middle desktop screen used to open the app drawer on the stock rom, which was great.
I couldn't find any way to add that back, but I found Home2 Shortcut, which allow to bind something to a double tap on home, which would be fine too. But I can only bind an application or a shortcut, and "Open App Drawer" is in neither of those (despite being in Add > Launcher Actions on the home screen). There's even stuff like "CyanogenMod Settings", but no "Launcher Actions".
Is there a way to add it to the Shortcuts list? Or any other way to do it?
Alternatively, I can also bind it to a file. Is there a file that launch the App Drawer when opened? Or a script file I can write to do that?
Thanks
Edit: I installed MIUI App Drawer and bound that to Home2 Shortcut.

[Q] App that creates Android shortcuts to keyboard shortcuts?

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me of an Android app that can create Android Shortcuts (Like Contact, Direct Dial ... ) but for actual keyboard shortcuts (like Back, Undo, Home, Copy Paste)?
Let me tell you the reason behind this:
I find that these days, with screen size increasing, we need a more customizable virtual navigation bar to put to the right of the screen, because when holding a bigger fablet, you will only have 1 finger free, and that is the thumb finger, and it points up... it is uncomfortable to point it down to the base of the screen where the navigation bar usually is. Now most apps like this are too simple, and they just stick to the screen, you can't hide them on full screen apps, and you can't add custom shortcuts. And you get that awful and idiotic error "screen overlay detected". It's not like that is an efficient security measure, apps can override that. Android, just make the settings menu temporarily remove any screen overlay !
Anyway, I’m diverging. I have found 2 apps, that if combined would be perfect for that: Meteor Swipe and Menu Button.
Menu Button because it has one of the best shortcut system I have seen (back, home, menu, copy paste, media control), very customizable, but Meteor Swipe has a much better interface, with swipe to change pages and leather skin background.
If I could add Menu Button shortcuts on Meteor Swipe, that would be perfect, but I already talked to the developer, and he is not planning on adding more shortcuts, because it would be too complicated.
But the Developer of Menu Button did a very smart thing: it uses the app as a keyboard, and this allows him to use keyboard shortcuts.
Do you have any ideas for me?
Kind regards,
Daniel

Add a Bixby Floating Icon Button on your Home Screen - THE EASY WAY!

Here is a foolproof way to put a Bixby floating icon on your home screen.
No need for button remappers, no need to flash or install anything at all.
This method works on all versions of the S7 Flat G930 and S7 Edge G935 phones.
No root required, the only thing which is required is to have Bixby installed.
Here are the easy step by step instructions:
1: Go into settings>acessibility>dexterity and interaction>assistant menu
and enable it, there you will see another assistant menu so enable it again.
2: Then click on the assistant menu options and select the Bixby icon.
3: Click the back button and you will see the assistant menu again.
4: Now you can select how much transparency you want for the new
Bixby floating icon to have on your home screen.
Once you are done you will see a Bixby icon on your home screen
that you can move to any location on your home screen.
When you click this new Bixby icon it will open Bixby Home and if you
like, you can set the right swipe to google assisant instead of Bixby.
If you choose more than one floating icon then clicking on it will just
open the icon and display more icon buttons, so only select Bixby.
Good luck, have a great day

If you want to use the long "press back button" for Bixby in Nova launcher you need to go
to the playstore and download "Sesame", it's the best way to map any of the phone's keys
or gestures in Nova launcher's "Gestures and Input" options.
Using Sesame you can also use Nova launchers "double tap home screen" for Bixby too.
Sesame is a paid playstore app, it has a 14 day trial to make sure it works well for you.
It's not specifically designed only for Bixby, it can be used to launch almost any of the
phone's options or features that cannot be selected or accessed by simply clicking on
the apps in your app drawer creating shortcuts on your home screen.
Sesame integrates itself into Nova launcher. It's an add-on created for Nova launcher.
Good luck, have a great day!

Bixby does not need to be viewable in menus or the app drawer if you use Sesame.
In Sesame Bixby is a selectable "action" not a icon button in menus or app drawer.
Bixby is not in any of the widgets and has nothing to do with widgets or with any apps.
That's the beauty of Sesame, it creates shortcuts to ACTIONS and GESTURES that
do not have corresponding apps that you can associate them with.
Sesame is a add-on to Nova Launcher making it possible to create normal shortcuts
of actions and gestures which do not appear in the menus, app drawer or widgets.
Good luck, have a great day!

I was able to get Sesame & Nova Prime to give me Bixby on double tap!
install Nova (Prime), follow all prompts.
install Sesame, follow all set up directions.
then:
Nova settings, Gestures & inputs, click Double tap, "Activities" tab, click "Bixby Home", and fine and chose, ".main.MainActivity" Save.
I have bxactions for the Bixby button doing multiple things, and now can still open Bixby when I want to!
and, this doesn't even begin to touch all the awesome stuff i'm seeing from Sesame! <--I bought it!
thanks misterjunky!
