I would like to turn off zooming with the pen and only do it with my fingers. Anyone know how to do that?

No one knows how to do this? I'm tired of zooming in on PDFs while using my pen to scroll. I'd rather just zoom in and out using my fingers.

You should specify what app you use.
Check settings for pinch to Zoom

Well, it's happened in several different apps. A good example is ezPDF. I don't think this is so much a function of the app as it is modifying the behavior the pen. I just can't find any where to turn off zoom when using the pen.

There wouldn't be anyway of doing this, I'm guessing you're meaning when you slightly double tap with the pen and it zooms. It recognizes a "tap" from the pen the same way it would a finger press so you wouldn't be able to disable one and not the other.
You could use S-Note and use the Pen input only option, this would prevent zooming but then also eliminates zooming with your fingers.

I am sure this has been asked but the search function on Tapatalk is lackluster. How do i take photos in portrait mode and have them store to the gallery correctly. Is there an app that will do this automatically? With the technology of today this should not be an issue.
Thanks

I just installed and tried opera and it didn't work either

Yeah I've often wondered that too. It works if you double tap it, provided you have the auto-fit option checked in settings. But won't if you pinch it. Very strange.

ICS Browser+ seems to do fine with pinching.

I guess I just have to wait for the ICS update :-(
But how come it works for the guy in this thread (locoman_)?

How do you cut and move handwritten texts in S Note?

Could not find a way to cut-and-move handwritten texts in S Note! Did Sammy forget this simple function??

Take a screen shot by long pressing with the pen, crop and paste.

App to turn off Note when S Pen inserted?

Hi,
I know that the Note will turn on when the S Pen is removed but is there a way, or an app, that can turn it off when the S Pen is re-inserted?
Thanks.
Sv: App to turn off Note when S Pen inserted?
Not in stock mode, no. If your tablet is rooted however, I can't see why not.

I'm rooted. Would be nice to have an app to control this. Maybe Tasker?

I am rooted and have tasker installed. How does the note now when the pen has been inserted...it plays a sound on removal and insertion but what triggers this...is it simply a switch?

You guys can try this app

GMD SPen Control will let you set it so that when the spent is inserted the tablet shuts off.

Evernote seems to work pretty well for me. Pop the widget on the desktop and you have fairly quick access to a new note.
I use ColorNote.

Colornote here too. I find it better than evernote because you can password protect individual notes
If you know what I mean...
