Xda Zest, is it getting a section ?

Got the chance of updating to one and have been looking for reports, advice feedback on this phone. Is there going to be a section for this phone ?

Probably not as it's not an HTC device even though it is branded an XDA.

Don't know about that but i do know they have decided not to create a section for things like the Samsung Omnia. But then that is neither HTC nor an XDA.

Seems fair enough, they do say somewhere its HTC only, just read it, be to much if they had to do every windows phone out there. Oh well the Zest is on the way, lest see what it's like in the flesh.

New MyTouch Q by Huawei

Just got this device a few days ago and honestly its great. I really did not expect such a good device from Huawei but I am blown away by its performance for its price.. Has anyone else worked with it yet? I am trying every method I know to root the damn thing nothing seems to work

Glad you like it but why did you buy it? Even the amaze has more development and that's a free phone AND it has more horsepower

Well I was on the HD2 But my device died and I did not have a full upgrade till next year plus I did ask about the amaze they told me it was out of stock. Also I posted in this section as there is no section for the newest MyTouch as of yet

How much are the Huawei selling for. The Q is a 4 inch qwerty phone right? If T-Mobile markets the phone for a cheap prepaid development might pick up. Otherwise you maybe stuck with stock Rom. Likely someone will figure out a root exploit

I think Its free with a new contract I payed 70 because of my partial upgrade its got a 4 inch screen qwerty keyboard 1.5ghz single core processor and 1gb of ram not too bad in my opinion and its a really solid device doesn't feel cheap at all like most Huawei phones,

well do something about it then...go ask the mods to make you guys one...i know i'm sounding really harsh right now but i am honestly tired and pissed off at people doing this:
"hey guys, so um, i don't have a forum for my phone, but since they're both called the "MyTouch" i guess i'll post here. how do i root this thing????"

guys (and not just OP) PLEASE STOP POSTING IN OUR FORUMS IF YOU DON'T OWN THE HTC MYTOUCH 4G... ask a mod to make your own forum for you guys...

No man I totally understand I only posted in this section because the last thread about this device for discussion was here but it was closed due to people trolling and such

It's a shame you got that device lol, it would be nice to get new members that are as cool as yourself

OP, it's call HUAWEI Ascend G312 qwerty or try google Huawei Unite Q, Huawei U8730. They all the same. AKA my touch Q 2012.
It uses Qualcomm 8255.
I still love my htc mytouch 4g.

Which one is best for nexus? One x or s3

Hi,
I wanted to buy the nexus 4 but since yesterday, i know the nexus is not coming to my country (belgium). Since i need a new phone (my htc desire is running on it last breath) i wanted to review my options. The best phones available here are the s3 and the one x or one x+. I would like to make it a nexus via a custom rom. I know it is possible with all three but is one better than the other? l have heard that the exynos soc is a pain for developing for example...

[Q] HTC One vs Galaxy S4

I recently purchased the S4 and have been fairly happy with it except for Verizon are morons and locked the bootloader for most. I keep hearing how great the HTC One is now and I'm beginning to question my decision and whether I should sell mine and get the One or keep this? Would love some ppl's input on their experiences with both.

I've heard some reports of bad build quality on the HTC One's for Verizon. People basically on the opposite situation as you who had the HTC One and are returning it for the S4.

I would stick with the s4 as well.

The better choice of two

Hi guys. I just want a bit of quick advice on choice of device.
I always liked t he HTC myTouch_4G_Slide.
I got a Samsung s3 mini recently but I may need to get rid of one.
Which one should I go with. The Samsung has some obvious pros, larger screen, more onboard memory. But I still like the HTC.
Can I get other persons opinions?
