Need Urgent Help!! Installing stock rom - Bootloop - HTC Sensation

2 days ago, i decided to root my htc sensation. However I am complete noob and when i went to install cynogenmod 10 my device was stuck on a bootloop. I tried loads of ways to get it back to stock but i havent been successful. I get an error every time i try to superwipe. I get an error when i try to super cid. i need help, im a complete noob and dont know what to do.

OK find out what firmware your phone is on by going to hboot in top corner, search Google for ruu pyramid ics sensation exe download (don't forget to put the firmware in the search too, download the exe file and instructions from the program will get you out of bootloops and back to stock rom

4ext recovery it's better than cwm because it has smartflash feature(has the ability to flash the boot.img of the rom for S-ON users)
actually do these steps:
put your rom in the root of sdcard
flash 4ext recovery
format all partitions except sdcard(from recovery)
enable smartflash and then flash the rom(from recovery)

Help!? Sensation XE Official RUU on Sensation

Hi, I need to know if anyone has tried this. I need to be able to flash my 'original' Sensation with the Official XE Stock RUU. I'm currently running Android Revolution HD and have been experiencing a lot of FC's.
I would be so grateful if any of you clever guys can help me.
I am S-OFF and Super Cid

Yes, you can.
But you'll probablybe better off with newer 1.50 ruu

Thanks. I'll give it a go. It does pick the phone up and thinks its doing a update so it is connecting properly. I don't think it wants to install as it picks it up as not being a 'XE'. Also could I ask, where can I locate the RUU you mentioned?

Correct, 1.50 is OG Sensation ruu, but its newer that 1.73, xe ruu. If you still want to use XE RUU, but can't do it, pm me, we'll try to work it out. I'd start with reinstalling drivers and redownloading RUU.

Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using XDA App
You could try this:
1. Set your phone so Super CID (you need to be S-OFF to do this)
2. Make sure you have HTC Sync installed
3. Go to Settings>Power and turn off 'Fast Boot'
4. Turn the phone off
5. Turn it back on whilst holding the volume down button - this will take you to the HBOOT screen (it'll say HBOOT above the menu)
6. Use the volume button(s) to highlight 'FASTBOOT' and press power to select FASTBOOT mode (it'll say FASTBOOT instead of HBOOT)
7. Connect to your PC
8. Once driver is installed, run the RUU file as it's a Windows program
9. Follow the instructions
Use the newest RUU as well, which should be 1.73.401.4

If you want to flash ROMs,you should do that.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using xda premium
I don't know if it's really necessary to be Supercid, i have Cid HTC_102 and all roms i've tested so far (ARHD, Insert Coin, Elegancia, Virtuous Inquisition) are working.
First let's talk about what a "CID" is in the first place. CID, as best I can tell, stands for "Carrier IDentification" and it's a little number that restricts which software can be installed on a phone. The CID determines for example, that only an officially-signed T-Mobile radio can be installed on a T-Mobile phone. And it's why you can't flash a Vodafone ROM onto a Bell Desire Z.
It may be helpful to think of the CID as a kind of "region coding" like you find on DVDs, where a North American DVD can't be played in a European player. But if you hack your DVD player, you could switch it from a European player to a North American one. Or you might even hack it to play both.
You can do the same with phones. SuperCID is, as the name implies, a universal CID where the phone will accept any kind of firmware image from anyone.
