[Q] Is my Boot loader unlocked? how can i know' - General Questions and Answers

Hi all, my phone is stuck in a boot loop. Im not rooted. im trying to find ways to save data from my the phone before i do a factory reset.
I read a useful thread here, where someone posted that if the bootloader is unlocked, the data could be saved. If it was locked then it cant.
I think in the Boot menu it should say something about locked or unlocked. but in mine it doesnt. I enter the Boot menu and it just says:
HBOOT 0.98.000
then i have these options:
fastboot
recovery
factory reset
simlock
image crc
btw, its a HTC desire (bravo)
how can i know if my bootloader is locked or unlocked?
help plz, thanks

[Q] The warning won't go even after relocking bootloader.

Hello guys,
I have a Moto G, Dual Sim variant.
I decided to lock my bootloader, but even after i locked the bootloader back, the warning on the boot screen won't go
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!
Fix
Im assuming you're talking about the screen saying "Warning Bootloader Unlocked"??
If so, unlock your bootloader, get a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.
Follow the instructions over here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548530
Download the second zip in the OP, "logo.zip"
Go to your recovery and flash it.
Your Warning Screen should be gone

This will remove the unlock message but if you check on the fastboot screen your phone will still say locked. code 2 Once unlocked you can relock the bootloader but you can never get back to a locked code 0
Forgot to mention that. What he said. Once you unlock your bootloader, it will never be 0. If you try to go for warranty or something like that, I'm assuming that's how Motorola or whatever will know you unlocked your bootloader and hence, voided your warranty.
Thank you everyone, I just wanted to unlock the bootloader because i am giving my Moto to my brother

Gent's, My HTC ONE SV not doing even hard reset.

p.s
my phone is bootloader unlocked but not rooted / has any custom roms.
You can re lock the boot loader but Motorola repair will still know you unlocked the bootloader.
Boot into fast boot and try typing fastboot oem lock at the command prompt.
another method

Nexus 5 Stucked in Fastboot Mode

Hi,
I have a Nexus 5 (d820) stucked in fastboot mode.
After doing some research, I got the TWRP working as recovery.
When I try to wipe, or flash any rom, even the original ones, I got some errors regarding read-only partitions.
I can LOCK and UNLOCK the boot at will... I can access fastboot/adb, etc...
How can I be sure my memory is defective? (I know it is probably the problem)
Anyone tried to replace the memory? (No warranty anymore)
Thanks for any help!
When you unlock the bootloader, does it stay unlocked?
I can unlock my bootloader but, after rebooting to fastboot, it says the bootloader is locked.

Relocked bootloader help! pls

So i relocked the bootloader becouse adb did not want to accept any commands.
I had an unlocked bootloader but i have read on the forums that it locks it self but says its unlocked anyway.
So i locked and unlocked the bootloader
And I can't enter fastboot or boot the phone. It's just stuck.
eRecovery does not boot.
All it says is The phone is unlocked and unsafe... Booting ... and nothing happens its just stays like that....
Can someone help me?
