Did you happen to flash the international version's CM10? That's the only thing I could think of that would force it to boot loop. Can you still boot into bootloader and get back into TWRP? You can get back into your old ROM.

im checking now.. i hope i can fix this i gotta go out in 6 hours lol

That was a romfor the international One x

i just looked and cant find any settings like that in bootloader, i also tried a factory reset and still no luck

i guess im lucky lol, im in boot loader but how do i get to the point that i can put a rom back on my phone, cause it wont boot up at all to put in disk mode.. also is there a cm10 for my phone its a htc one x rogers

It may have wiped out your recovery. Try flashing TWRP through fastboot again and use ADB to boot into recovery. If you can get that far, you should be okay.
If you want to try selecting "RECOVERY" from bootloader and it boots into TWRP, then you're good. Mount via USB and get Viper or CleanROM on there asap so you atleast have a working phone.
Next time, don't be an idiot with a $600 phone and read before you do anything.

i dont see any TWRP setting in bootloader, gahh... i dunno what to do.. time to start looking deep in the inter webs after my smoke!

can anyone help me pls.. i downloaded cm-cfX-20121009-OFFICIAL-evita from the rogers htc one x forum but how do i flashh it if my phone keeps boot looping.. i can get in to bootloader tho

i think i got it figured out.. but when its on the welcome to ONE X screen for setup, i goto touch the android and then Unfortately setup wizard has stopped any ideas, or is it a bad rom

try downloading gapps again?
do a factory/data reset?
im not familiar with CNA so i dont know if it specific.

You have to wipe Cache, Dalvik and Data. Then go ahead with flashing ViperROM. Make sure the ROM is in the root of your SDcard (not in any folder) and you should be okay.

Im ppretty sure he just flashed an intl rom he got it from here http://forum.frandroid.com/topic/10...se-41-autonomie-ultraconfigurable-ota-themes/ which is french and they have tegra [email protected] Alex your lucky your phone is still turning on

stop doing factory reset and clear storage from bootloader people.
also alex your using an old twrp and make sure you have an evita, since your in the evita forum

Factory reset from the bootloader or from within most roms calls on the factory recovery to complete the wipe, so yes, no stock recovery, no wiping except from within your custom recovery........also, resetting from bootloader with stock recover performs wipe of /data, /cache AND /sdcard.....

[q] pls help!!!! Bricked phone

I used a HTC desire s... HTCdev bootloader unlocked s-on and rooted ...
This morning, was checking google play when i found a FONT INSTALLER app. i decided to try it. After installation, i opened it to use a font on their server, i backed up the stock font. after applying the font, my phone freezed up so i decided to restart maybe dat would fix it.
I rebooted and my fone got stucked at the "HTC quietly brilliant" bootscreen... i tried doing factory reset. I loaded bootloader then selected factory reset. i was directed to 4ext. I didnt get the reset cos it keeps stucking up at the same screen. So i decided to wipe.. I selected the "WIPE ALL PARTITION XCEPT SD CARD" :'(
...
Now my Phone doesnt boot up. After the first "HTC (without the quietly brilliant)" shows up... the screen goes dark till....
....
Pls i need help on how to put my phone back on.
GURUs in the house PLEASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Funny problem you have
What it shall boot? You have wiped everything from it, so there are no files.
I guees you have not make a Nandroid backup, so copy some ROM to your SDcard and flash it from 4EXT.
DO NOT forget to flash the boot.img afterwards

But pls can u make it clearer. I don have any backup... The only backup i have are my apps, non for the system files.
I can also get the RUU ICS ROM i downloaded from HTCdev. Can i do something with this? Thanks,
If you was on ICS go here and skip right to B) section.
If you was on GB go here and pick the version you was before. As if you was on Sense 2.1 you would flash RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.47.401.4_signed_prerooted. If you was on Sense 3.0 then your pick will be HTC_Europe_2.10.401.8_deodexed_prerooted
Or just flash a custom ROM, there is plenty of choise. I would recommend Desire XS

Copy the ROM from your Sdcard to the PC. Open it and extract the boot.img that you will find inside. Then flash it with a command from your PC (you can search the forum how exactly).
And if still does not boot then you will be one of the lucky guys with the Hitachi panel so you will have to try a Sense ROM. Download, flash through the recovery, flash the boot.img as described above

I am using it for some time now I had no bugs, reboots. You can read the feedback of the users in the ROM's thread and then decide.
Just remember: when you are S-ON you have to flash the boot.img separately from fastboot for ANY new ROM that you are installing!

It would not because you have to lock the bootloader first. Better go back to post #4 and read the first line again. It will save you the trouble to unlock and flash a recovery again.

if you can get into recovery -
1. wipe everything (all partitions, dalvik cache, battery stats, etc)
2. mount usb storage. download jaggy rom and put it on to the sd card.
3. flash the rom, it will boot up fine.
4. reboot to recovery. wipe everything again.
5. reboot to bootloader (in twrp) if on yannou, just pull out the battery, put it in and keep holding volume down and power till you get the fastboot menu.
6. get into fastboot mode, connect phone to PC, run the proper RUU for your device.
if you can't get into recovery -
fastboot boot <recovery name>.img. Preferably use a twrp recovery.

sorry bro, I can't find the T-mobile specific ROM. Since you already have your phone running, and if you desparately want to switch back to the T-mobile ROM, you can always flash that RUU and take it to them and tell them that you just want the software updated. I don't think they will care about the phone being rooted as the service center guys will. I might be wrong though. Doesn't hurt to ask, does it ?

I assume your bootloader is unlocked, since you say so. You don't need to flash a recovery for it to work. You can just boot a recovery image and do your stuff.
1) run "fastboot devices" command. See if it spits out your device. If it does, your phone's in fastboot mode.
2) run "fastboot boot <recovery image name>.img". This will reboot your phone directly into the recovery where you can play around.
I assume again that one of your partitions has been corrupted just like mine had. So just as a safety measure use cute_prince's nand recovery method. Wipe everything from recovery, and reboot your phone. You should be able to flash stuff, and lock your bootloader normally. Then run the RUU.
NOTE : BOOTLOADER MUST BE LOCKED BEFORE FLASHING RUU.
Hope this helps. Reply back if you run into any other problems. Will try to help you as much as I can. And as far as flashing a ROM goes, I would stay away from CM10 beta 6 and all sense 4.0 / 4.0a ROMS as I have faced nand burns with them.

Try out this method it might solve ur prob ..
!!!DO NOT RELOCK the bootloader before Step 4 - this will brick your phone!!!
1. download RUU for your device here (check your radio at top the bootloader menu)
2. extract the RUU rom from RUU application
start the ruu application, even if it fails. also start the flashing process, nothing will happen here. search for the ruu logs, for me at c:\ruu_log. in the log (for me in line 191) is the path to the rom.zip that should get flashed. something in temp folder... for me the line looks like this:
"<T093343><DEBUG><CMD>fastboot -s HT1BMVMXYZ flash zip C:\users\raangu\AppData\Local\Temp\{1235}\{12345}\ rom.zip</CMD></DEBUG></T093343>"
3. flash the needed images
in the rom.zip you will find a boot_signed.img, a system.img and a recovery_signed.img. flash all these images with fastboot.
In command line:
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot_signed.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery_signed.img
4. relock the bootloader
In command line:
fastboot oem lock
5. install with RUU application
now run the RUU application again and follow the instructions.
You are back on RUU now!

There are chances that the HTC people locked it again. (They usually format whichever phone they get to lay hands on)
Try going through the rooting procedure again (starting from unlocking)

Simple mate follow the procedure of putting recovery through fastboot you did after unlocking the bootloader..
Edit: Flash the recovery using fastboot through command prompt.. Then you will get the recovery again and install roms.

Don't worry mate! I also had the same issue with some KitKat ROMs. That's normal.
quite simple solution is: Go to Recovery and Flash another ROM! that's it.

Sorry to hijack this thread. I've been pulling my hair out with the same issue as well when trying to install 4.4.2 roms. stuck at the HTC screen. I have tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2540521 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2623494. The only one that works is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530073.
I am S-OFF with 3.33.
Any help would be appreciated.
try to wipe all data info (cache , partition and dalvik) than install ROM and gapps, should be fine, remember to perform it with fully charged battery, and i dont think i have to mention that you would do backup ? (when you get working ROM you might use nandroid software to create COMPLETE backup of your system - including ROM, so if something goes wrong , you can restore everything), hope that helps

I have done what you said but no luck i.e. wipe cache and dalvik and with fully charged battery.. I have a nandroid back up so that's what I have been going back to every time the rom has not been installing.

4ext recovery 1.0.0.6 RC1. S-OFF and 3.33 FW. my hboot says 1.27 instead if 1.29. I don't think that should matter.

from 4ext choose format all partitions except sdcard
flash the rom
if it doesn't boot then flash the boot.img of the rom via fastboot command

This is what I don't understand. when doing all the usual wiping steps (including formal all partitions). I also used the boot.img from the rom but no luck. question, at what point, should I be flashing the boot.img? wipe steps, flash rom, flash gapps and then boot.img via fastboot?
