Do you have a backup? Just pull battery reboot to recovery and restore. If no backup reflash a rom.
Can you reboot into recovery mode? Hopefully you can do that and just flash a backup you've already made or flash a ROM you have. If you can't boot into recovery mode - Do a battery pull and boot into download mode and flash back to the stock image. Follow step 6 on this guide:

I flashed nightly 58 on my g2x and now the cyanogen skateboarder keeps coming on the screen, loading for a few seconds and then the screen shuts off and the process repeats, help?
First try reflashing. Second, did you wipe and then flash?
Tried, and did wipe before. Problem persisting.
Did you come from a custom kernel? I was having boot loop issues until I flashed a nan of an old backup I that had an ext3 compatible kernel... then 58 went on like a glove(not OJ's glove... leather shrinks if gets moist! Geez way to miss that one chris darden)...

i cannot boot phone into recovery nor can i boot phone normally... I had just installed Viper one S rom on my phone and rebooted into recovery because my wifi wasnt working , so i was just going to revert back to an old rom. After clicking reboot to recovery from Viper rom the screen just went white . I had to power it down manually, after powering it up it would stop at htc screen with the red development lines... tried to go into recovery and it will come up for a second then disapear then phone reboots.... any ideas? oh I also had installed Latest radio in CWM after installing rom.. I hear its buggy in CWM...
I had the same problem. Did you flash the boot.IMG in recovery or fastboot? If you flashed in recovery and its not supported by your hboot version. That could be the issue. Try re flashing the boot.IMG using fastboot. If you still cannot get it to work. I would try reinstalling a custom recovery manually and restarting the Rom flashing process. There are forums all over the place to help with that. Try twrp. Ps this is all assuming you are able to get into your boot loader.

Problem fixed. Don't ask me how lol. All I did was relock boot loader and flash stock ROM. Stock ROM would not load so I just decided to unlocked boot loader and phone rebooted fine. Recover works to.. crazy.

That happened to me when I didn't fast boot flash the boot.IMG file, but only the latest Viper has given me grief with that.

Ughhh... I am in recovery and after a restore , I go to reboot system and instead of going to rom it brings me back to recovery again. I can't get out of recovery. What can I do????
Thanks...
i'm having the same problem right now too.
Boot into download mode and hit the volume down to cancel (reboot)
Should work for now until there is a patch.

you can also use Odin to flash an old version.
Just remember to either use odin to flash an old version or find one through ROM Manager, so you don't get stuck in a boot loop again next time you restart the phone.
I am having the same problem. Booting to download mode, selecting yes then pulling the battery got me out of it. Very frustrating to say the least.
Is there a problem with the new CWM touch that just came out I wonder?

yes there is. as soon as it updated it started everything mentioned in all of the above posts. i odined and flashed back to older recovery. all better.
The thing is:
I accidentally deleted the twrp backup of the stock JB rom,and i was using Cyanogenmod rc4
So I wanted to return to stock JB,but when i flashed the stock firmware over Mobile ODIN,it was stuck at the boot anmiation.
So i went to do it over ODIN on PC,but it ended up with the same problem.
Now i cnat go back to full stock.
Please,if anyone can help me.
Thank you.
It's been discussed like a hundred times already. Get into recovery and clear data, cache and factory reset.

Heres what I would do.... Get into recovery mode. Flash cyanogen mod and gapps again. Then download a stock jellybean rom. Then flash the stock rom.
Here is a stock rom:

I didn't suggest you are a noob. I only suggested that starting another thread about this seems quite unnecessary. You see, I had exactly the same problem you do, going from CM 10.1 to stock JB, I got stuck on boot animation. So I used the search button, found like a hundred threads describing this situation and in 90% of them the solution I gave you worked. Sorry it didn't for you.
