When I click on an app in the play store for more information, then I press the back button to return to the list of apps, the list starts again at the beginning. It doesn't take me back to where I left off. It goes back to the top of the list again. This gets annoying when I have to keep scrolling down the list of apps over and over. I cleared the cache and data from the play store, but it keeps doing it. I'm on RemICS jellybean. I hope I explained my problem well.

Not a problem more of a..."feature" Every JB Rom I've been on has had this.

I think that's a universal problem for all android phones (ics++), so you're not alone. Artem from Android Police wrote about that a few weeks back, in his article about all the negative things about stock android.

as stated it's normal and I've been reading for a couple months that google is going to fix this... I'm not sure what the holdup is.
but yes it is annoying, especially if you are just browsing rather than looking for something specific.

Every reset and some times when I kill tasks I loose all my program defaults. Trying to ignore then on list not enough it still happens. Its different programs each time. Launcher then my phone then contacts. Have redo the defaults. Any clue how make sure stops. Is because apps on as card?

I have listened. I learned how to use my sd card. I fixed network issues. Also stream lined my apps. No double apps. I even managed more ram. I'm happy. I use a auto kill so doubt its doing it because I safe everything. My only issues now.
1. Google maps keeps deleting its self
2. My go locker changes
When this happens is at random. Doesn't seem be anything app doing it. I'm thinking its my Rom possibly. Bone. Skeeter

So odd I tried one app at a time. Might have start over with fresh rom. Its not bad problem just annoying. It deletes two random apps every restart. Thank god for titanium back up

I have no idea what you are doing but I loose nothing over device resets. Period. Explain in detail exactly what you are doing, what ROM you are running, what launcher you are using and a list of 3rd party apps you are running.

sounds to me like hes running apps on sd which is unnecessary and causes more harm than good.

OK guys I am on ICS 4.2F-6B on my skyrocket, the smart stay app will not open and says the beta testing is over...any ideas how I can get this to work? Also the screen keeps flashing no front camera detected, however the front camera works when I go into the camera. Why would this be flashing on the screen?

i just got it, but for some reason, i dont think its working. It could be user error too! I followed the directions, but the screen wont turn on or off when i put my eyes in front of it or move them away. isnt it supposed to turn on when it detects your eyes and off when it doesnt?

No this one is just for when your screen timeout time runs out, if it see's two eyes looking at it then it will keep the screen on.

haha, told you it was user error! Ok, that works!! Do you know if we will get one that operates like the g3?
Any idea on how to make it stop talking? It randomly tells me I'm adjusting setting or going back to the home screen. I believe it is this app doing it because the phones never done it before.
the app hasn't talked to me at all! It must be another app that is talking to you. that's weird though!

Did you get a different version of the app with a hidden talking feature? 'Cause then, I want a refund.
Most likely it's your voice app or Talkback from your Settings >> Accessibility.
This application is over. The lite version is free to test over the market. But it doesn't work with low light. The best application for me is Sceeble and it's also free on Play Store. It works with the sensor.

is "SCEEBLE" that you suggested spelled right, because i can't find it on the Play Store.

I've provided pics but this mysterious buuble keeps appearing at random, at the bottom of the screen yo. its some sort of pull up app drawer. I can't figure out how it keeps popping up or how to tremove it hahaha not trying to be funny anymore! its annoying. gets In the way of the keyboard and whatnot.
this must be a feature of beans ROM, I'm thinking. I dunno tho, a Google search came up with nothing.

Bingo! Tap that bubble and move an app to either the top or bottom of the screen and use two apps at once.

hold back to get rid of it.
it's multiwindows ported from the note2, I find it completely useless and hate it as I use longpress back to kill apps, I can use menu button instead, but i will NEVER use the "feature" on this phone.
it sucks that rom devs are including it in ROMs, I'd much rather not see it at all or just have it as an add-on instead of forcing it on us.
I honestly never feel the need to have 2 apps open taking up half the screen each, I can just do one at a time, but I can see how it could be nice on the note II with the s-pen.
I did order a bunch of cheapy pens that work on the phone its pretty cool, but the multiwindow feature, garbage.

I have a SGH-I727 from at&t, which I have just upgraded into ice cream sandwich via kies. When the process finished it put me onto a screen that says Android is upgrading... starting applications, I have had it on for about an hour but I am unsure if I should just let it keep going or do something about it. Please help, thank you in advance.
Edit: Every once in a while the screen also flashes white.
Reboot. If doesn't work do a factory reset.

I don't remember mine taking that long, but I'd just let it go. It's updating all of the apps and such.

You'll have to do s factory reset in recovery. Are your apps backed up? If not you'll have to install them again.

Pictures, music, etc will still be there. Texts are a different story, you will lose them if they're not backed up. But I'm sure you will have to do a factory reset to get beyond where you are now.

This is probably something really stupid but it has been driving me crazy for 2 days now. If I force close and clear the cache it will go away for a short time. This happens in full screen mode as well. Any suggestions?

This is driving me nuts too. Last night everything was fine still. But now I have this overlay I cannot get rid of.
It must be a "feature" in the current version. Whatever it is, they need to fix it soon. I downgraded to the version previous and the problem went away. You can get previous versions here: http://www.papktop.com/youtube-5-1-10.html
