Bought this on a whim that it would be xperia play optimized. It does not show up in the launcher but it does use the dpad and the left trigger for nitro boosts. This game is actually pretty fun and the graphics are really nice and bright. For those interested here is the Market Link.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...yLDEsImNvbS5uZXh0Z2VucmVhbGl0eS5taW5pbW90byJd
Again, no launcher support but dpad and left trigger support are embedded
Good find! I really enjoy games like that but I really wish we could get a Super Laser Racer port (its an isometric racer with a weapon system and badass music so it plays like a very tight arcadey mario kart) since New Star Games managed to port over their Soccer game with a good amount of success.

Also, its kind of funny that you necro an old thread just to do a facepalm on something you knew nothing about, nice to know people appreciate when I share what I find, eve three years later.

ReRave is a new music game that just launched for iOS, and is quickly gaining steam and will soon be out for android. If your a fan of dance dance revolution, in the groove, stepmania etc, you'll love ReRave. Here are some links to check it out.

Yeah they are working on it right now. Didnt take them too long to finish the iOS one so hopefully it will be out soon. I've got it on my iPod and its awesome, cant wait to play on my X with that big ass screen lol.
In the meantime, you can always play "beats" in Osu mode which is pretty similar since both games are based on "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan" (known as "Elite Beat Agents" in the US/EU).
I'm glad to see ReRave being ported on android, and it will probably be a decent game, but the guys behind this game (Kyle Ward and Chris Foy) are really fun : They created In The Groove which was a copy of Dance Dance Revolution, got sued by Konami and lost the rights to the game.
A few years later what do they do ? a new original game ? No... They just create a new company and copy another game
I just hope they finish the Android version before they get sued by Nintendo or iNiS
We've got this covered though, with a patent and whatnots.
The android port won't take too long, just some iOS specific code needs to be rewritten.
Yes, I helped work on the game (I'm one of the graphics dudes ;D )
Good news then, thanx !
Looks like it could be fun

I wouldn't say itg is an exact copy of ddr. sure, four panels and you hit arrows but if you have actually taken the time to play ddr (not just one game mind you) and played itg, itg has taken it to a whole nother level that ddr, even now, has failed to reach. so many people are still playing itg and ddr is dying out. it'll be fun to finally play this on my phone. looking forward to it lightning!

Don't think this will ever come out soon.
It's on the Play Store!

I loved this game as a kid, had it on the megadrive, always got stuck on CLLD
I don't see the point of this being expensive though, it's not a long game, graphics although remastered are still blocky (In relation to other mega-drive/pc/amiga games) and they could have included the sequel released for sega cd with it.
Hi. My first post on here, but trust me, i was stalking this site for two years now.
Hello everyone, and lets get it straight. When I've noticed Another World title, i couldn't believe it, but here we are. The game that changed my childhood forever. Now on Android.

I usually don't geek over these little pick up and play type games, but Rolando 2 happens to be the one and only game from iPhone that's A) Worth playing, and B) has (well... had) no Android counterpart.

Got the tilt controls and everything so I can have the best of both worlds!

looks pretty cool. thanks for the share
Any other feedback on the game?
Doesn't look anything like Rolando, especially the incredible Rolando 2 (correctly identified as one of iOS' best games!, althoguh they get hundreds worth playing we don't )
I'll download and install when I am home this afternoon and post some feedback
It's buggy as hell !
It's crap.
Tried it, could not figure out what was so great about collecting coins, uninstalled.
Its only redeeming quality is that it's free, so it will only cost you your time if you want to try it.
Two comments about how buggy it is.. maybe I'll just install it and wait till there's an update before testing!
Edit: Just saw the above - will avoid.
Comparing a crap game to the amazing Rolando 2, tut tut! Is the OP the developer?

Nah, I wouldn't have let it slide in it's current state.
And people... remember that my props were for it's concept only. Check my Play Store review (from before I even posted this) and you'll see that I even cited that the game had some probs that needed to be sorted out.
Looks more like Bounce On 1. Would love Bounce on 2 to be released on Xperia play

Hey, I'm the developer of StarRaider. I know it is not the greatest game ever, its buggy and seriously s**t from a code perspective. I will probably make it ad free soon, call it "beta", add some promised features and just leave it be. I understand that some of you people will find it crap, but when I started working on it, I was a noob in android development. Those 7 months of development taught me many things, so any future games will be much better. I still appreciate the feedback
Found this last week. It plays pretty good and is fun, but I despise touchscreen controls. This game would be awesome if it had d-pad / touchpad (definately touchpad, d-pad at least) support. What are your thoughts? I'm going to email the developer and request that he add the support.

I believe the game may have been removed from the market. To be honest I was surpised to see it as I am sure Tue maker of the game probably did not ask Lucasfilm if its OK to make the game. I am unable to find the game in the market via a search either. So I can only guess its been removed

I wanted to say, that Dev wasted a whole lot of time making that game, and expecting to get away with selling it and making money off of LucasFilm's IP.
Looked like a cool game, but don't expect to ever see it return.

I emailed Robert Broglia who is the awesome developer of so many .EMUs on Google PLAY store about a possible N-Gage emulator. I realize the phone was horrible but it did have a few gems, Glimerati, Asphalt (yes the same as we have now), and of course the three reasons to own an N-Gage Ashen, Elder Scrolls Travels: ShadowKey, Requiem of Hell.
Yes, I owned an N-Gage and at the time enjoyed it, but for those games above alone this phone was worth it. If anyone is interested in this possiblity please email Robert at the address below and ak/encourage him with support for this. I think it would be kind of cool to play N-Gage games on our Xperia PLAY seeing as how both phones were touted as gaming phones.. obviously the PLAY is much much better contender for that title then the N-Gage... anyways please contact him if this is something that you would like, you never know what might happen.
And for those who think this is a stupid thread that is your opinion and you are entitled to it same as myself and others are...... but if you dont like this thread keep it clean and on topic in a positive light, I DO NOT want this thread to go down as a "trash the N-Gage" thread. Thank you.

Excellent idea. I loved my N-Gage regardless of what people thought of the phone side of it. My favourite games were ashen, pandemonium and Colin McRae.
On another note, I was looking for a gameplay video of ashen a year or so on youtube for reminiscing purposes when I discovered ashens videos, which now take up most of my time when I sit at my computer!

I thought about that as well... the portrait screen.. perhaps if its reated Robert could add in screen stretching..... it may not look right but perhaps having the option in place for users to decide.....

Despite the ridiculing the 32x received, I loved mine. I got Virtua Fighter for Xmas the year it came out and I remember waking at about 4am Xmas morning and playing it for about 6 hours straight!!!
There were some other games that were good as well. Star Wars Arcade and Stellar Assault I enjoyed, and although the fighting wasnt great, Cosmic Carnage was really impressive with its scaling effects! And dont forget Doom!!!

Hey guys - you efforts are nice - but did you ever think about:
- That .EMU dev ist the real developer of the emulators he provides - according to his HP he just ported them to android using his Imagine-Engine.
- Developing an emulator for a single person takes AGES if there is no former work or knowledge on it.
- Did he even answer to your request? Like: "lets see how many people are interested in? Or do you just call up to spam that guy heavy?
- A short google search on an n-gage emu - doesn't bring up much (might be cause the n-gage was a big fail) - at least no former open-sourced emulators (ok I just spent 5min on it - so i might have overlooked one). So even if you spam this guy heavily - he propably can't do it.
I know - you didn't mean it that way - but please be sure to have some conversation with a dev before you call up for a spam session in a big and open forum.

I have been searching for over a year keeping an eye out for an n-gage emulator with no luck. And as such I decided to contact the Dev for the .EMU series of emulators in hopess that he would be interested in it as a possibility or at the least he may know of someone who may or may not be able to help. When I created this thread it was my intent to get others who would be interested in an emulator as a means of genereating interest and contacting the dev above. I know you probably didnt mean it to sound that way but I do not appreciate the words "spam session" as this is not my intent.
When I think of an idea or find something that I feel others may enjoy I like to share it, this is simply nothing more then an idea in hopes that if contacted with the right individuals would turn into something more. So please be cautious of just slapping "spam session" on something.
Now.... lets turn this back to the thread on topic. If others may find or think of another developer to contact please bring it up. Thank you.
Apparently there WAS an Ngage emulator for Symbian called N-Gage Cool back around 2005, but the developers site and all sites hosting it have long since stopped working. I found one working link to it on an emulator website, lets just say it was a paradise, but it has gotten nothing but terrible reviews and claims of being a virus. Regardless, there is a precedent for a mobile Ngage emulator.

Thats the N-Gage 2.0 where it was a software platform designed to run on different Nokia phones. I had that on my old Nokia N-95 8gb a few years back. What I am referring to is the N-Gage phone from 2003/2004.
Edit: Or did you mean ngageman? The old emu from 2007 for newer nokia/symbian phones?
