I'm not allowed to post in the I9001 Development Section yet...
Could somebody tell me, why dutch.ly's first Custom ROM GB-project Simplistic.Plus Final 2.0 was deleted from XDA?
I personally enjoy it - it is one of the best (maybe the best) GB-Custom ROMs I tested. If there are "licence" issues I would be very greatful, if this thread could be reactivated!

One problem
Couldnt unlock SIM! Screen whent off after 10 segs. And asked me every time I turned it on..to put the pin again.
Then I put the SIM in another cellphone, removed pin...and that worked.
Weird.

yeah after some browsing i arrived at the same solution disabling pin in another cellphone i guess it has something to do with the network you´re using and what sim card they use but you should probably fix this, its very annoying

One more thing, while switching to "memory card access"

Bugs:
Missing HW composer.
Native USB tethering doesn't work. Use a third party app (tested: android-wired-tether).
The inbuilt Wi-Fi hotspot can be used only once, sometimes more, and after that a reboot is required to use it again. You can though use this modified version of android-wifi-tether, reboots are not required.
HD video playback suffer low framerate issues.
The 720p preview framerate is intentionally limited, especially while recording. The recorded video is (almost) fine.
There are some lags in the preview while video calling with the front facing camera
Poor bluetooth headset sound quality. (I don't own a bluetooth headset, hence it's very hard for me to find the problem)
First Install From a base CM 10 A4 or A5 only !!!

1. This ROM will wipe data due to different partitioning. The device would reboot while flashing and resume again.

4. Incase if you don't get a network signal, check if your IMEI and Baseband are proper. If not, go back to stock and try again.
5. Do NOT use Odin to flash Modems. Due to different partitions, Odin will screw up your existing MTD setup.

Rom is smooth, battery is impressive(4 hrs -1% on standby)...best if can include notification drawer with go to sleep, toggle gps, sync, wifi...battery % if possible...ram reading is 287 used after installed...again thank you for a fine job done.

The best score with antutu benchmark ever for our SL.
It would be better if you could add toggles in the notification bar.

Need for Speed™ Most Wanted really bad but I swapped with a class 1 so I'm not an expert on big game
I tested SubwaySurf consumes about 150 MB and I found comfortable
there is a test you can do is to remove (put aside) all tweaks in init.d folder
I honestly have not time to see the difference

Really, it is getting better on every update. 3.4.12 fixed some of the bugs in my Defy:
#Notification bug (no notifications in the notification bar) - FIXED
#Lock screen (no lockscreen) - FIXED
#Browser (not opening) - FIXED
#Call (getting cut after one ring) - FIXED
Haven't tested the GPS yet. There was a problem after the first boot while Google sync, a message popped up every time saying "Settings has stopped". I skipped the sync and later added account from Settings.
This is getting very close to being a perfect ROM for daily use. :victory:

I flashed 3.4.12 over CM7.2 after a full wipe + dalvik wipe.
My Defy kept rebooting every twenty seconds. And I got "Goggle Text To Speech engine has stopped".
Edit: I also got this error with latest stable 4.2.2. No reboot, though, just the TTS error. I searched on goggle and there's little help about this issue. I might be alone in that case. If someone had any idea about how to fix this issue, that would be nice. (I tried installing gapps twice already).

all i know is tts error is a known bug in 4.2.2..
try to wipe file system and flash rom again..this may help...:good:

I also got Goggle Text To Speech engine has stopped with my 4.2.2 by quarx.. but it seems ok now a after a reboot

Installed with no error
Although installed with no error..very neat UI..but quiet a laggy after 1-2 hrs..RAM always at 80-100mb..
Finaaly uninstalled and upgraded to Quarx 15.04.

there doesn't seem to be way to select audio/music engine in this Rom.
how to select music effects on this rom?
usually we select it using settings>sound>music effects.
but there isn't any such option this rom. the old miui v4 n all other roms based on ics and above have this option.
