When I run the People widget and I go to the page to visualize it.. it keeps crashing. I get an "Unfortunately, HTC Sense has stopped" and then I see the start splash screen. I cant use that widget. I just updated to ARHD 6.7.2 XE (on a Sensation phone) from ARHD 6.6.x. This problem existed in the older version too. The android version is 4.0.3 and the HTC Sense version is 3.6. Please help .. why does it keep crashing?

I have a non-rooted HTC Desire that I have upgraded, over-the-air, to Android 2.2.
I want to get Android 2.3 on this baby as well as the latest version of HTC Sense (the one where you can shuffle screens in leap view, that has a scrollable list of last used apps in the notification bar...).
I've read a while back that someone made a HTC Desire HD ROM for the HTC Desire but that many essential features weren't working. But at any rate, the HTC Desire HD has the new HTC Sense but not Gingerbread.
I've also never rooted my phone, I'm wondering if anyone can help.

else root ur phone and search the forum for a GB rom.. u will find lots for ur phone

I have a HTC Sensation. And flashed Pyramid3D Rom With NoSense Script, because i dont like this HTC Sense Stuff at all. Now I like the phone but i have some problems.... I Want the stock android phone dialer and the stock android contact. I have read a lot and it seems that i have to install the phone dialer and the contacts application as apk, but i cant find them... can you please help me. thanks a lot

This is correct.
4.0.3 is the Android version.
3.6 is the sense version.
This isthe last stock version for the sensation.
If you want to use newer versions of sense, you will need to use a custom ROM, with a sense ported from another device.
I use viper S Rom with sense 4.1.
if you want to do it, go to the Android development section, read all the stickies.
You need to
S-off
Install recovery
Flash new ROM

Yesterday i buy a new digitizer, it has red button, like Sensation XE
After replace the digitizer, i can't touch it in ViperS 1.6.3, but in the 4ext Recovery, i can. Very smooth
I install a lot of another rom like DarkSense, CM10.1 4.2.2, it still nothing better
When search on XDA, a lot of people like me. So i decide downgrade to 2.3 sense 3.0 RUU. It' work
But 4.0.3 it doesn't work
I search and install RUU-Pyramid-LE-ICS-35-hTC-Asia-WWE-3.33.707.106-Radio-11.76A.3504.00U-11.24A.3504.31-M-release-268334-signed.exe
And it work now, android 4.0.3 with sense 3.6
After that i install ViperS, still nothing....

Hi people. I have one question. Im currently running ViperSaga on my DS and I have a problem with all sense roms. For example, when I google something, some apk for example, and adf(dot)ly link appears, it always says "web page not avaible" or something similar. I've used cm10.1 and miui and I had no problems, but now with ViperSaga and all other sense roms I've used, it says web page is not avaible. Any solutions? Cheers
