It seems that the Dolphin Browser developers are very active these days. They make Dolphin Browser Mini the first online pdf viewer supported mobile browser, update the select text style in Dolphin Browser HD. But the most exciting news is that they are going to release a Dolphin Browser for pad! This new has been proved by its official blog post.
As an honest fan of Dolphin Browser, I have to say I am really looking forward to this new browser for pad. Although I haven’t experienced this new browser yet, it looks pretty cool. Besides keeping all the good features in Dolphin Browsers: Add-on, Gesture, Multi touch Pinch Zoom, Bookmark Sync, Bookmarks Sorting, Data Backup & Data Restore, Private Browsing, etc. , it innovates the traditional browsing experience----webzine. This sounds like that browsing is no longer browsing, but reading. The Dolphin Browser developers are going to stir another browsing revolution! However, my only concern is its speed. I don’t expect its speed being what they promised----with Dolphin Browser Mini’s level of speed, but I sincerely hope it could be faster than Dolphin Browser HD.
Anyway, I am really curious how this new dolphin could be. So I just registered, and am waiting for their beta invitation.
cool, the pad version works perfect on my Samsung Galaxy Tab.
But i can not find the fantastic sign for Gesture as on the phone.
You can find the Gesture button in the upper right corner, next to the address bar.
a triangle symbol..
Is there a decent browser that will allow me to import the Bookmarks from my Desktop's Firefox Browser? I used the word "decent", because Firefox Android Beta will do this; but that browser is, imnsho, not even close to "decent". It has to be one of the most counter intuitive browsers I've ever used; and requires multiple clicks to get to a bookmark.
One of the browsers for iPad would do this very nicely, but it is not available for Android.
Recommendations?
First, import bookmarks on your desktop from your firefox to your chrome. Then use chrome. There should be some extension for desktop chrome you can use for this.
I currently use Firefox on my desktop and I was wondering how I can import the bookmarks from Firefox to the default browser on the Note. I know I could just install Firefox on the tablet as well but so far I like the default browser and want to use it.
I really like Firefox Mobile Browser but I'm having issues with the Firefox Google Integrated Search. In search results when I click MORE the browser go's to Mobile Apps? When using Chrome Mobile the more slides across and reveals Maps Videos Shopping etc
Anyone know of a workaround? BTW I experience this same behaviour in Dolphin and Opera. The standard Android Browser behaves like the Chrome Browser.
I've attached 3 screen shots. The 1st Image is Firefox the 2nd and 3rd are Chrome.
Thanks
I've done some considerable searching, but cant find a web browser (other than chrome, or built in android browser) with Google bookmark support (that doesn't require a desktop browser with plugins to link/sync bookmarks)
If i can find an alternative browser for my aging tablet that i can save bookmarks on, and they show up on my n4 in chrome browser, and vice versa, i would be very happy. Chrome struggles on my tablet.
Anyone have any suggestions?
