[Q] [Rom]Sky-JellyBean5.0 ((T5--(10/04)) - Network Mode - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I am having problems with Jelly Bean Rom installations, unable to get onto Rogers LTE network. Have tried multiple JB roms and various things but none have stuck.
The latest installation that I have is Sky-JellyBean http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1902502.
There was a posting in the forum, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1902502&page=155# where someone mentioned they were successful after the installation by changing the preferred network using *#*#4636#*#* where LTE stuck after a reboot. Unfortunately it did not work for me after the reboot and reverted back to WSDMA.
Additionally, I noticed the default installation had the wrong APN settings (attached below) and changed them to the following:
Name: Rogers LTE
APN: ltemobile.apn
Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set ***was 80 removed
Username: Not Set
Password: Not Set
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS: Proxy 10.128.1.69
MMS: Port 80 ***was Not Set, add 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 720
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
APN Protocol IPv4:
APN enable/disable
Bearer Unspecified
Unfortunately same results: FAIL
As I am a newbie, I can not post my question in that forum to get some details
I have attached some screen shots based on the current installation and the steps that I took. Has anyone been successful in enabling Rogers LTE on JB roms? If so, can you let me know which rom you installed and what is your baseband version and kernel version? If not, can someone post the question to above post?
Thanks in advance

Here is mine....working fine

Thanks for the reply, but your screenshot shows 3G not 4G or LTE?
What kind of download speeds are you getting? Also, after a reboot, did your network mode stick or revert back to WSDMA?

Hi,
Did you actually select that LTE apn from the list of APN's as your default? This happened to me, until I made the radial button on the LTE APN and rebooted. Then it stuck on the LTE/GSM autoPRL afterwards
Hope this helps

Yes, ltemobile.apn was selected as my default. Noticed that you mentioned LTE/GSM autoPRL, will try again as originally I had selected LTE/GSM/CDMA autoPRL.
Thanks

Ya there was no 4G at the coffee shop I was at this am when I took that screen shot. And yes my settings do stick. I'll check speeds later.

so theres a more updated rom than the one i have installed?
do you have more than one apn in your settings? I had one for wap and one for mms, all i had to do was to copy the settings in the mms-apn into the wap-apn, making sure to not overwrite anything that were already in the wap one. I also added mms on apn type (default, supl, mms).
hi
Hey I am trying to get mms working on my nexus s 4g and 3g working also ? where do I check my APN settings or do I use cdma workshop or qpst for that ?

It's a fricking awesome ROM but mms isn't working for everyone. None of the suggestions in the thread have helped me but they have helped others. Definitely worth trying and seeing for yourself.
Edit it seems they've found a universal solution today I should have caught up on that thread before or posted here
(so yes, flash that rom)

MMS Apn settings for T-Mobile

So my girlfriend has a rooted Inspire with a T-Mobile sim card on the lastest stock. I've flashed a few roms and mms has always worked for her until this latest one. I've googled the settings and none seem to work. If anybody could post the correct mms apn settings it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well I don't know the APN, but I never had a trouble with APN's since its provided by the carrier. If none answer this post and you got there with an issue in your data. You should try to reset the APN configs by going on "Settings"->" Network"-> "Mobile Networks"-> "Access Point Names(APN) " and the use the menu touchkey and select reset option.
Hope it does work!!
