Recently I came across Gaetawoo's JB 4.1 Dark Holo MMS App (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745830) and it is working perfectly & looks great on my HTC One XL.
Realizing how awesome this was, I PM'd Gaetawoo and asked him if he might have any interest in doing the same thing to the Email app so that the two most used applications on my phone would be themed similarly. Gaetawoo replied and said that he is using Kaiten and not stock app for email so it didn't really interest him. However, he did give me some links on where he learned to theme the MMS app. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a standard computer to the work on this so I figured I would put out a request and offer a small bounty if someone wanted to take this project on. Let me know if you think you might want to help out...I imagine a lot of people on JB Rom's would love to have this option for their devices!
This has been done before on the Eee Pad Transformer so I do know this is possible...see attached picture for what I am looking for!
If you search for black&cyan I believe the creator of that theme has blacked out apks to match it

I found this over in the general Android OS forums that are non-phone specific and after testing on my Evo figured I would share. It runs and looks great so check it out! Personally I think it's better than most lwp's available on the market.
I take no credit for this and have already asked the developer if he was ok with it being shared in the Evo forums.

Im the creator of the lwp, but im sorry I cant help it's worked for every one else thats tried it.
Maybe try unistalling and reinstalling it see if that works.

Hi fellow Infusers. Are you anything like me and everytime you flash a new rom you find a themed APK that suits you?
Ive been flashing ROM's for a while now, and have QUITE the collection of different themed APK's. Everytime I flash a new ROM I have to bring my MMS.apk with me, because I love the color of the text bubbles.
I always switch out the white google search widget in favor of the translucent one's I've found.
Anyways, onto my point. I would love start a thread storage area for themed APK's, but would I have to get permission from each developer whose ROM I ransacked to get the APK's I want, or would it be sufficient to just give them credit under each one?
Well hopefully we can get this ball rolling soon. I know I will definitely upload a couple in the coming days that I know wouldn't violate any rules.
In the meantime. Do you guys know any roms that have awesome MMS.apks or any other cool apps?

That's a damn good idea. I have a red Pandora themed apk and love it. You should start a new thread in the android theme section instead of the infuse section.

Dman you're a dev do you know the rules? Do I need to PM each of them for permission or can I go crazy posting themed APK's in a thread in the themes and apps section?
If it were me...out of respect...I would ask each one before you post pieces of their hard work....just respectful is all...I know it takes some time...I had to wait 3 or 4 days for darky to reply to my permission request before I posted...even though I already had it running....its the right thing to do bro ...

Looks great, very excited for the new updates, especially the sms app
I have a NS4G with ICS 4.0.3 and am getting a lot of FC's with the contacts app when trying to edit a contact or press the back button after viewing a contact. I'll be happy to upload a log tomorrow if interested. IDK if it matters since the updates are already in progress but just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue as well

Glad to see this project coming back alive.
Glad to see this is still moving forward. I am still waiting for a mostly functional Contacts app that at the very least lets me set my profile picture. As good looking a guy as you are I would rather see my picture instead of yours when I use the app.

That guy is an idiot. It has liberty launcher which is a modified version of the cm9 launcher trebucket, lol. It's trebuchet for one. I was hoping for a website for them, couldn't seem to find it.

Ahh lol I didnt actually watch the vid. Just thought it may have been helpful. From what I'm reading the gummy team don't have their actual own website and seem to operate out of rootzwiki so any info you need might be there??

Ok so I have the X-TremE CM10 1.5 Pure ROM on my Samsung Galaxy SII but the loclscreen is different than it should be, the icon that looks like a lock is replaced by some kind of dragon .. i've gone through all the settings a few times but I can't find out how .. I guess some place in the framework.
Can you ease tell me how to do this? And be specific because i'm a huge noob ...

Have you tried widget locker lockscreen? Its a paid app ($3 US)definitely worth purchasing if you find yourself tinkering a bunch though.

Discussing pirated apps is not allowed here on xda. The widgetlocker developer is actually a member here.
@OP I suggest asking in the ROM thread since this is very ROM specific and it looks like the dev added it in himself. Otherwise, unless you are completely glued to this one ROM I'm sure there's another JB ROM without this dragon.
(Personally though, it looks pretty bad ass. I'd love it if it were my phone)

You cannot get it officially outside of the Google Play store, unless its directly from TeslaCoil himself. When you download a paid app for free on another site, that is pirating.
If I said took this guys iPhone and sold it, isn't that stealing? But no I didn't say anything to infer that.
