SGY rom On SGP?

hi guys..
i was wondering that if i flash my Samsung galaxy pocket to this rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679563
which is for SGY will it work..?
because both devices have almost same hardware..
please reply so i can give it a try.

there is no best rom as such.. different user... different opinions..
use 4.2 based rom if u want latest on your phone..
i am using micromax mega rom + 4cly turbo script with my own theme...

[Q] Cyanogenmod porting

Is anyone working on such project.. I tried porting it and it just goes till bootlogo and does not proceed any further..
I ll share file if anyone wants to play with it..
P.S. I think we need a new kernal.. i may be wrong.!!

well i am not proceeding further as i am really busy with work..
I can give only weekends but not sure about that..
I am pretty sure some init.d tweaks and better kernal would help and that file i shared will work..
Till then i m pretty sure someone can contiue from here..

I guess the phone is huawei g330 which bears the same specifications

I would be really interested to see this but i m not sure if our current kernal version will support this

Xperia m gets cm11 (4.4 kitkat), so does tipo, ace, fit, dio... can't we also try?

Kitkat is absolutely possible.. you must need some porting knowledge and development skills ...

Already told you these are not custom roms.. only modified stock roms!! & we don't have cyanogen mod yet too!!
Btw if u still want to install a pre-modified stock rom then try kit cat rom for core & core duos..
