I have a B50 101 running AOKP Build 4. I tried installing Harmony Kernel and it won't go past the boot animation. I had this same problem trying to flash the K.A.T. kernel on Eos 3, it just won't go past the boot anim. Why is it doing this? I really want to run a different kernel on these roms.

I'm having the same problem since flashing #76 , also the tablet shuts down when not in use which it didn't do before. I've tried flashing KAT and something with Voodoo in the name but same as you stuck at boot animation. Let me know if you find a fix.
I haven't been able to figure it out. I was also having problems with the eos 3 nightlies with rebooting my tablet when hooking up the charger and the lock screen disappearing when waking from a long deep sleep.

According to the thread on Rootzwiki, the ROM is not compatible with other kernels than stock: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/31009-tf101-kang-aokp-jb-preview-rolling-release/
Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know which jb roms are compatible with kernels?

I'm on EOS with the KAT kernel, but make sure you have the latest version of KAT (47b), on RaymanFX CM10 already has a kernel which can OC, so I would suggest not to flash a different kernel.
Thanks. Where can I find rayman fx or should I just Google it?

I've been trying to get morfic's Trinity UV11 kernel to work with both the Cyanogenmod 7.1-RC1 as well as reddev1's AOSP kernel. I've flashed everything through Clockworkmod as well as cleared the Dalvik-cache with the provided zip in the thread. The issue that comes up is that the phone boots into the sign-in screen fine but later on the touch response stops working and then the phone restarts. Is there something wrong with the roms/process that I'm using or is it just that my phone cannot handle the undervoltage of the ROM? Any suggestions would be welcome!

update your cm7, rc1 is old and outdated. try the latest cm nightly or cm kang. flash the latest, your gapps, and the kernel. in that order, then reboot.

Do you have any suggestions for stable AOSP roms that would work with this kernel? I'm trying to avoid the CM7 nightlies just because of any possible stability issues.

na.. i run either nightly or kang as a daily. should be much more stable than rc1 in any case
Hmm I've done what you suggested (flashing the latest nightly, then gapps, then kernel) and still no luck getting past the sign in screen. I've also used the "battery pull" method of rebooting the phone that was noted in the thread and still have the same situation.

I've done a CM7/Netarchy(BFS) as well as reddev1's/Netarchy(BFS) combination which have both worked well without a hitch.
I would like to flash back the BAKED TF300T Blackbean rom. But after flashing sean's JellyBean-Hydro 1.4.6 i cant flash the rom anymore, i get stuck in Asus logo like many others. Im rooted and with unlocked bootloader. Im using TWRP JB version as Recovery now. Tried both CWM's also. CWM touch, wont make any difference. Normal CWM doesnt even work anymore.
I also played around with the fastboot and installed the stock WW30 (un-bootable), still cant flash the Blackbean. Is there currently anyway for me to flash it?
Hope i didnt forgot anything important to tell
Thanks

No, there is no way to flash the older roms after JB update till now. You are stucked with Stock JB or hydro until the devs come out with a solution to downgrade to ICS

Okay, currently im trying to flash any other JB rom to try out, stuck on bootlogo almost everytime. Even the Hydro's re-flash did cause the stuck in logo.
EDIT: Ok, looks like im currently stuck in Asus logo and no system. I hope that the dev's can figure something out.
I was just wondering, aint the Blackbean Jelly Bean rom?
EDIT: Is it the JB bootloader causing that i cant boot into any rom i have flashed?

Bkackbean and other custom jb roms are still using the ics kernel so until it's implemented on cm10 you can't flash after being on hydro or stock jb

As I said: I was wandering if it is possibile to change kernel, I tried this one, installed with aroma, but my Sensation is stuck in a bootloop.
I'm S-on, I tried to flash either with and without the 4ext smart flash with the same result.
Anyone has a solution?

flash the boot.img of the rom manually
see here how
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861 (only extra 1step)
otherwise flash another kernel
which kernel did you use?

Sorry! I forgot to past the link and then I had to wait five minutes to edit my post and, well, I forgot again.
This is the kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216197 I don't really need it but I would have tried some oc and the sweep2wake function and stuff, so, any other kernel (or even the rom one, if it's possible to set it) is the same to me.
Just to tell you: I flashed Jellybam after a full wipe, and it was working, then flashed the kernel, then, when I got stuck in the bootloop I flashed Jellybam again without wiping, right now all works properly.

That kernel is NOT designed for AOSP Jelly Bean ROMs like JellyBAM. That kernel is designed for Sense Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs, so it's to be expected that your phone won't boot after flashing that over JellyBAM. If you want a kernel to use with JellyBAM that has all the features that you just mentioned (Sweep2Wake, OC, etc.) then try my kernel (Sultan kernel). The thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2035897

Yeah well, I was looking at the title of that kernel thread while I realized which was the problem, I'm glad to tell you that I flashed your kernel last night (I'm Italian) and after a whole day using it I have to say that I really like it (even if I've to settle with all the differences between the governors and the best way to set them with aroma).
Thank you!
Ive been at it all day but ive yet to install a single custom rom on my tf300t, all of them get stuck at the Asus boot screen. I started of with a stock ics tf300, i installed nvflash then tried to install Cleanrom (first flashing the posted jellybean bootloader) but it didnt work, stuck at boot screen so i tried installing the latest 4.2.1 stock jellybean which installed fine (im using the latest twrp) which i was over the moon about, but then tried both official and unofficial cm10.1 roms both to the same result, stuck at asus boot screen:crying:
I know i must be doing something wrong here but ive tried so many combinations and guides im all out of ideas. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

Do you have a link to the stock 4.1.1?
Put a pin in this thread.
Boot-freezing when coming from 4.2.1 is because the 4.1.1 bootloader is needed and needed to be reflashed before custom ROMs would work. I just spent 6 hours dicking around the answer was right here.

I think you can get it directly from the Asus website
I got my N5 yesterday
unlocked bootloader
running TWRP
can flash and setup any rom
CAN NOT GET ANY KERNEL TO BOOT (using CM types when available, latest try was running sylentprofet minimal}
not sure what is going on, probably something small that I am missing.
tried:
faux
franco
N3o
ElementalX
Sorry if it is a simple fix. Did try to search but no real results that helped
If you're running cm look for CAF kernels.
As stated above, the problem started when you flashed, faux, franco kernel. Elementalx has a version which is compatible to CM Roms but need to read well. I heard of some people having problems after flashing franco, where another kernel wouldn't boot after franco.
Do a clean Rom installation, boot the phone with the stock CM kernel, then try to flash Chaos kernel and see how it does
thanks
why do we now have to use a particular type of kernel now?
Thank you guys for the assistance I booted my AOKP rom then flashed chaos with no issues, I knew it was something simple. :victory:
