+1 some flashable zip maybe?

I went peeking through the ROM and I think its these files in the attached zip (this is NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP!) one is under system > etc > permissions > com.playstation.playstationcertified.xml. and the other is system > framework > com.playstation.playstationcertified.jar.
As RocketRom is based off TW adding these files with appropriate permissions should work. (sorry, I don't know how to make flashable zips and wouldn't want to pass one out to experiment with)

only RR v11???
or custom rom??

Just got it running on my stock rooted nexus 7 by moving those 2 files to where they needed to be and chmoding them to 644. Someone smarter than I could probably pack these into a flashable zip in a minute

Here we go guys flashable zips and instructions its for the nexus 7 but i presume works the same

Limited country/region support. A real let down.

i have tried. it works with Galaxy Note Paranoid 2.17 rom http://translate.google.com.tr/tran...aystation-mobile-uygulamasi-kurulumu/&act=url

It works perfectly on CleaNote v6 after flashing the PlayStation Cert files. Too bad there are few games though. Would be awesome if PS One classics are ported to android installable apks.

if you're asking if it will work on non touchwiz roms, I'm not sure as I only use roms based on tw.
the prev version worked on cm9, etc, but not cm10 or any jellybean.
if you're not on touchwiz maybe you can test & report back for us? or wait for someone else to do it.

Thanks for the confirmation guys, the galaxy note community will be forever grateful for your courage & strength in the face of great adversity, despite your fears you tested & shared.
we salute you.
cheers.
Works great on SGS2!
Working great on GT-N7000. No FC. I'm on RocketMIUI v3.
I just installed the apk and it works but I guess it depends on weather the libs are present in the ROM. Rocket ROM had it preinstalled.
EDIT: Works perfect on Iconia A500 tablet which had Polaris preinstalled in the ROM too.
FC cm10 nightly hydra kernel.

Try this (I haven't tried yet):
Extract library from apk
Put them (the four *.so files) in system/lib with correct permissions
Delete library folder from apk
Put the apk In system/app with correct permissions
Reboot

[MOD] ALL APPS in multiwindow

HI, here is the mod to have all apps in multiwindow bar!
Based on N9005 with Omega v.1 and working good. Need testing for other versions...
Just replace Service.jar in /system/framework and FlashbarService.apk in /system/app. Save the original ones just in case!
Reboot and enjoy!
Note: there is a little bug when adding some apps it's another that be added in bar but not a big problem.
I can't make it work. On my stock firmware. I try to replace both of the files. But the multi window option not appear. And also it make my pen-window broken. I can't create any pen window anymore.
Thanks
tnx for the effort but it doesn't work...u can't even open the multi bar.
good I kept a copy of the original files

Yes you need to be deodexed...
I'm currently using this app from the play store with success:

It'll walk you through installing the xposed framework when you first open it, then you can use the app to modify available applications (reboot needed after).

original samsung ebook app

Hi all,
Just thought I would share my ebook app files from the original tab 10.1 that they stopped developing but which gave the best eboom experience on android IMHO. To install you unzip this (doesn't work as a flashable zip). Then you need to remove the myfiles apk from system app (called sec-tablet.my files) and replace it with the one from this zip. Then install ebook.apk as a normal app. Reboot your tab and enjoy!

Hi smegg,
I'm looking for the stock Ebook reader, version 3, for some time now. My tablet is on Android 4.1. So far I found two versions, one ebook, apk worked well but it's version 1.xx. The other one is version 3.xxx, it opens my books but does not show any "ç " or "Ç" (along with other missing accents).
I searched this thread but since it's old, the links are already broken....
Do you still have the tw flasheable version of this app? The app you have is at some 3.xxx versions?
Thank you!
mot sure mate, i'll have a look
Hey smegg,
Very thank you for your reply! Turns out I found a way to fix the newer version's app. I decompiled it and saw that it was using system font, droidserif.ttf. Turns out that this font in my tablet is zero size, more like a placeholder, i don't know...
Since I didn't wan't to mess with these, I opened the .smalli on the apk which called this font (smali\com\samsung\ebook\reader\settings\font.smali) and changed it to Helvetica.ttf. Recompilled it with apktool and gave it a try. Don't have the correct MyFiles, apk so I have to import books by clicking on them from any explorer. Apart from that, it's all working very fine! =)

ODEX 4.4.2 Kitkat

I just wanted to tips you guys running 4.4.2 kitkat custom DEODEX rom about this.
"Would you like to speed up your rom, more stability, more battery life, no lag to open system app and better ram utilization? Now you can! (Only For Rooted Phone And Deodexed Rom)"
"What is ODEX and DEODEX?
In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These odex files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applicationsdifficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
THEN COMES DEODEX
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating theworry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity."
"Another explanation is this:
If you odex the rom, you'll have also more space in data (this is important because if you don't have partition ext4 in sdcard, you won't have too free space), increase battery life, more stability and increase perfomance( the Rom is more faster to load system and app) but you can't modifie apk after odex (you can't mod program with classes.dex).
Infact ODEX is an OPTIMIZED-DEX and Android load system and app faster than deodexed (DEOPTIMIZED-DEX) app and system.
When you have a deodex file (a lot of roms are deodexed) you have File.apk in system/app and in data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected], but with odex file you have File.apk in system/app and File.odex in system/app"

This rom had problem with supersu and I fixed it installing supersu update 1.94, maybe is this I don't know. At supersu application terminal has supersu permissions also when running the script looks that it has supersu permissions. Other apps like mobile odin pro titanium backup etc which need supersu working normally.

[BOOTANIM] Android L Boot Animation For Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005/N900T)

I originally posted this over on the forum for the T-Mobile specific version, but there's no reason it wouldn't work on other Note 3's as long as it is rooted and has CWM or TWRP. It is possible to get this to work without a custom recovery (aka w/o flashing) by doing it manually...The phone will still have to be rooted and you will need a file manager capable of root browsing, I prefer ES File Explorer but any would work.
Open the zip file and extract /system/bin/bootanimation and /system/media/bootanimation.zip.
Put bootanimation into /system/bin/ and bootanimation.zip into /system/media.
CHMOD /system/bin/bootanimation to 0755 (-rwxr-xr-x).
Reboot and enjoy!
crackpot said:
I whipped up a CWM/TWRP flashable ZIP to enable the Android L boot animation. Flash tmo_kk_androidl_bootanim_n900t.zip if you want to leave your current boot sounds, and flash tmo_kk_androidl_bootanim_n900t_nosound.zip if you want the script to rename the PowerOn.ogg and PowerOff.ogg.
This script will backup the original /system/bin/bootanimation so you can easily revert the changes.
I tested this on my N900T running EffortLess ROM Rev 6 (NF1) w/ Aurora Kernel, though I'm fairly sure it would work on other ROMs/variations.
Enjoy!

If you would like to reset your boot animation and undo the changes this zip made simply flash the tmo_kk_androidl_bootanim_n900t_reset.zip. It will restore the backups it created and remove the files it installed. I would like to know if you're able to get it work on Note 3's other than the SM-N900T I have.
Enjoy!
EDIT I updated the zip files to the latest version that do not have the error issues. Thanks to @Dan-SRi for pointing out the problem!

I think I may have uploaded the wrong zip, that was one of my early attempts. I'll update the zips when I get to work.
This will not change your boot/shutdown sounds. The _nosound zip will just rename them so they won't play.

Yes, I know its the stock sound. To my knowledge the Android L boot animation does not have sounds. I'll see if I can find some and add them to the zip. If you would prefer no sound try the _nosound zip file. It renames the power on/down sounds so they won't be played.
