Hi!
Has anyone succeed in using 3 LED lights for missed notifications?
I already tried ledmeknow, but unfortunately it is not working...
PS. I am on original 2.1 ROM

On original 2.1 keyboard led blink to notify sms and missed call.
If you want 3 LED, try to activate compatibility mod into ledmeknow then try all led color.

Hi, I already tried compatibility mode - and ledmeknow can blink 3 leds, but only when I'm testing settings.
Unfortunately on missed calls/messages won't work.
Do I have to look for some specific build number of ledmeknow, or all version works on XT?
thx
EDIT:
now it works...
problem was in root method. I was using universal android root, but after rooting with superoneclick everything works...
interesting...

did you find how to solve that problems I tryed a programs for HTC but doesnt work
watchflag
Hi,
there is an app named Watchflag (could be found on google). This app allows you to use LED for allerting new sms or e-mail - of course for apart from other things like sound, vibrating etc. But the problem is that if Omnia is on stand-by mode and the Watchflag doesnt alert any sms or e-mail and LED doesnt flash - it is completely dead. But that is my experience - you may be lucky
Hello,
I upgraded my X10 to the official 2.3.3 before I put a Cyanogen, and I loved the ability to set the color of the LED according to the different events. Clearly this possibility is still not yet a basic functionality. Do you know an application capable of doing as well as in the rom Cyanogen.
Thanks

That's a very good option, but I find Blink simpler and much more battery friendly.
Blink -> can not manage all the notifications, such as gmail or gtalk
LightFlow -> very good setup, but I left because the test mode of the LED did nothing but retesting it seems that the configuration still works at a real notification
Thanks

I stand corrected, Blink doesn't seem to work anymore in GB...
About LightFlow, apart from testing the LEDs, did you notice any other issues?
I am interested in managing the LED light for apps like Gtalk and Gmail and also missed calls.

You need to turn your display off when testing. I just tried it and it works.
Hi,
Did you guys manage to find any app for official SE LED notificataions on cyanogen ROM?
Can someone make the navigation keys area blink for missed whatever's?
Please keep questions in the questions and answers section, not in the development section. Thank you

Download noled. I came from the BB world where the notification system was excellent. I felt lost without an LED and software to control it. Noled (I have the paid version) has worked perfectly for me.
flash the 0.3 Da_G kernel (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1343220)
and the bln control software on the market and you will have the touchkey backlight turned into a notification led.
I'm now using BLN Control which works a treat!
The back lit keys now flash every 5 seconds whenever I get a missed call or message. With the keys being as bright as they are, you really notice them in the dark too.
This is what I love about android. "Your phone doesn't have a notification light." There's an app for that. I just downloaded noled and it works great.

You can also flash romracer's kernel to enable the option on bln control if you don't intend to OC:

can any one help me? BLN not working on Da_g 0.43prev2 kernel and r5.32 ICs rom....
That is something that I really miss from my N1. I loved the trackball LED notifications and I had them set up for email, texts, missed calls, voicemail, etc. I hate that now I HAVE to turn on my screen to see if I missed anything. I liked having my glowing red trackball to tell me when I received a text. I may give this a shot, as it came installed with my new ROM.
Guys,
Has anyone been having problems with WhatsApp LED notifications not working randomly?
Mine has been doing this for a few days now. If I get a WhatsApp message I'm supposed to get a purple or green LED notification. But for the last few days sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't.
I haven't changed or added apps or anything!!

I found that a reboot solves the problem for a bit. But then it just fails again!
I think you should be able to fix it by using an app called lightflow or something. Why not use a custom rom and set the LED notification there?

Thanks for suggestion. But I'm running gravity box which is absolutely amazing. So don't want to get rid of it for a custom ROM.
I used light flow some time ago and was excellent. But again with GB no need for it.
Hi all,
Does anyone have this issue? I just updated to Pie (latest version) today and find out that LED notification is no longer working. The battery charging LED is ok, but no light for missed call or message.
It works fine in Oreo.
Works for me.

did an app work? if so, which one?
Lightflow works for me on Pie, especially for app specific colors. However I have to use the "always on" feature. Blinking on off setting have never worked on my PH-1.

might be worth double check the other LED related setting "don't blink light" under "custom restrictions" though you probably have already
Just want to update....in my phone, LED notification only works:
- gmail
- Voice mail waiting (but not work if there's missing call)
Does not work in SMS, MMS (doesn't matter in stock messenger or Textra or ChompSMS)
Look like Android Pie issue (I'm using latest Pie)
Any suggestion or solution is appreciated.

Update: After April update, LED notification is working in Textra but not in stock messenger or ChompSMS.
Missing phone call is still not working. I hope after May update, everything will work....cross my fingers.
