Hey guy one more thread from me and for U guys ????
In this thread everyone tell that what roms u r porting so there will be no one to port double roms
And if u guys need any help u can ask here
So this thread is pretty open thread and freedom to post ur views .....
All NOOB QUESTION ARE WELCOMED
Just don't forget these things..!
1) tell the full name of rom u r porting
2) tell the progress
3) tell and ask for any help...

so how did you make your rom boot?? mine only boots if the rom is also from the same manufacturer

I'm porting flyme os. It boots but it still has some fcs. So working on it. Good to see new ROMs are on the way for our pico.:beer:

Did you make changes in the build.prop?

few changes like build date modversion etc but i dont think it really affected the rom

The porting guide is only for
Mdpi to mdpi
Hdpi to hdpi
R u porting from hdpi
If yes it will have issues

No both are mdpi

Then did u followed right guide
Do one thing from libs folder copy
Libandroid.so
Libandroid_runtime.so
Libandroid_servers.so
Copy these files from port to base rom
And this should work.....

Its easy... You can try it yourself.. Ask the dev whose rom you will take as base and port eom and follow any of the porting guide available on xda...
Ask me when help needed...

That is Paranoid Rom and has extra features and also all the features of CM10.
It is also DPI independent Rom.

There's a problem ,
Error in /emmc/Base-Trebon.zip (Status 7)
Installation aborted.
NOW WHAT TO DO < HELP???

Tried to port it but didn't get success
Base rom got successfully flash in cwm and gor rhe cynogen boot screen but didn't went ahead of that
SO I guess Porting of rom is also very tough job

[Dark Nexus] Rom takes too much time to uninstall apps and apps load slowly

I'm on dark nexus 4.2.2. Apps uninstall take a lot of time, and when I open facebook. Pictures take a lot of time to load? Any solution?
And yeah, is mackay v3 smoother than dark nexus? (Not asking for best but is it smoother?)

Does htc Explorer's hardware support the android 6.0? If so then we need some developers here! Oh and mods if there is already a post then kindly give a link and delete this one.... this is a legacy device and we should support it!

Android 6 should be possible for Pico, but the terribly laggy user experience will not make the effort worthwhile.

Yeah...it would be but couldn't we make it right by removing bloatware and adding an overclock kernel ... and etc.. so that the pico would be reborn again...:highfive::good:

Too much effort without any real reason. Doze is the only feature worth dying for and it's a kernel optimisation, not ROM one.
