MD5 sum mismatch? Then either your backup is corrupted or you changed versions of Clockworkmod Recovery in between backing up and restoring. What version are you using?

Did you rename the backup by chance to something with spaces in it and unapproved characters? Backups can't have any spaces and must use A-Z, 0-9, and underscores in the filename.

There were a lot of issues with CWM recovery v6 prior to 6.0.1.0. One of them being backups getting corrupt. There's good chances your backup is corrupt and you'll have to start fresh. You can try installing 6.0.1.0 and see if you're able to restore (although I would doubt) or you can try to restore partially (Go in Advanced Restore).
Either way, make sure to upgrade to the latest version once you are done.
One more thing, have you touched the Clockworkmod folder in any way? Touched the blobs folder? Freed space? Because the way the new Clockworkmod works is incremental, so you don't want to modify anything.

No i didn't tamper with dat folder. Pls can u point me to where i can download the version u are talking about?

Personally I do not like the new CWM v6, so I'm using version 5.8.0.2 Touch. Very reliable, but the backups are larger than the new one (but complete instead of incremental)

Root and cwm recovery aren't related.
Uninstalling su.zip with TB is like saying I don't want black, but go on and wipe black with black lol (TB requires root to perform most actions)
Just install a Google full rom (sticky in general section) and lock the bootloader afterwards.

If your radio is the correct one that came with the version you have installed, why bother.. if not they can see that the bootloader was unlocked just from comparing your device's Android + radio version versus what it would have been via OTA.

(Q) Need a nandroid of t-mobile

I made a mistake while flashing a new rom and deleted my backup of stock rooted t-mobile ICS through TWRP. Can someone post a complete working nandroid of the stock t-mobile rom. Prefet TWRP but CWR is fine also.
Ivetried some in the dev section but no matter what i try they wont boot and seem to be a problem among others.
I have seen both version, CWM and TWRP nandroid backup posted.
Just search for it.

Stuck in CWM Recovery

When booting up (by pressing power button, and when I connect it to charger it boots up by itself) the phone goes straight to CWM Recovery. I've tried everything, nothing works.
When in CWM everything seems to work fine: I can flash the ROM or do backup/restore.
I tried going back to stock - same problem. Can Not boot to OS.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Just to clarify on understanding your issue, when you boot up the phone by pressing only the power button your phone goes into cwm instead? While in cwm when you select reboot does is just stay in cwm? What version of cwm are you using? If I were in your shoes, I would reflash cwm with nvflash and go from there.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
Sounds like you need to NVFlash CWM.
Did you use ROM Manager to flash CWM?
Appears you flashed CWM to the boot partition, not the recovery partition, which can happen when you use ROM manager.

The answer to all of these questions is "Yes"
The CWM Recovery I used is 5.0.2.0, but I tried other versions too, same results: reboot to Recovery just by pressing power or "reboot' from CWM.

I would next than suggest using the scrubber/nullifier, followed by NV flashing the stock rescue package, than follow back up with NV flashing CWM and than your ROM.
This should rebuild all partitions and than rebuild from scratch.
This is the procedure I follow when I brick my phone. I can provide you with links if needed.
This is the only thing I would think to do if my device.

I found and used the nullifier, but it didn't help either. I used the file manager that comes with the nullifier, and for some reason the boot folder is empty even after I flash the ROM, and I also tried copy/paste the boot image from my backup folder to the root/boot folder.
I'm frustrated. Please HELP. any other suggestions.

Is it safe to flash CWM Recovery(v5.0.2.7) now ? And then restore from my backup?
If you made the backup with a different version of CWM the backup will not restore. You have to use the same version to restore the ROM as you did to make the backup.
Yey!!! It worked! :victory::victory::laugh:
Flashed NV Flash----->Flashed CWM 5.0.2.7----> and then restored from my backup. Now my phone is as it was before.
