How do you know the file is broken? Is it a bad MD5 checksum? What's wrong with the file?
You might want to try re-flashing your recovery, or trying a different version.

Personally, I wouldn't use ROM manager. Like post-mortem said, try a different, or updated recovery.

yes my md5 checksum is broken.... and can u suggest me how to reflash the recovery ...

I'm currently away from home, and am on mobile. I would do it through fastboot, so lookup how to use fastboot to flash a custom recovery (you need to connect to USB, & you need to have the .img file you're gonna flash to your phone).

Tnx for reply me

(dev?)a2sd terma rom boot img(kernel.tar) please

dev..naaahhh..
just a regular guy,...
guys i would like to seek your help..i am already coordinating this with sir terma aswell, regarding flashing his kernel for our a2sd to work..i know some of us are afraid to use odin..and in some cases like me i really dont have a pc to work on...
but would like to get that boot img or kernel to work for a2sd...
here is what i propose to do..
instead of flashing the boot img file...
we are gonna be replacing it with the boot img(tar file )of terma...
how?by copy paste...and recovery mode...
first create a nandroid back up of your rom....use SKINS CWM....
2nd download the terma rom pda file(tar file).and use es or explorer to extract the tar file..now you should be able to get just the boot img file...copy this file
3rd using same explorer go to clorkwork/backup/ folder you should see there the nandroid backup in a folder view if you go inside you would be seeing right about 5 files....
...and paste termas boot img file...
4th...go back..
5th turn phone of then restore form back up....use MADs CWM recovery!!!
you should have a2sd working now without flashing in odin,,,
(i think same method for kernel flashing)not sure if this will work if the boot img file can be converted to falshable zip...
aside form me..can any one confirm taht this is working??and i am not going looney,,,
I haven't tried this, but I don't think the md5 sums are gonna match.
Try it and report. A friend with a windows machine is never too far away in case you brick anything.

well..it worked for had no mismatches...
already tried i just want to confirm with everyone if it works....
or if it works with anyione else...
as long as the back up and restore process are done over the cwm of mad team..since not sure why..their cwm recovery produces the boot img file...not sure shy on skins doesnt...
here is basically what happened,,
wnated to tery out the famoud creeds rom...
so i got from a blogsite..
the idea was restore his nandroid back up to your device...
then..i used mads cwm recovery..gave me an error that i needed boot img...since my back ups were created by mads cwm and restores just fine...
i copied the boot img form my stock rom to the creeds nandroid files,,
and tried to restore,,,and it worked,,,
then i removed boot img then restored using skins without the boot img...and it restored...without the boot img unlike the mads cwm which gave an error..
so this is jsut basically what i did with termas boot img...
can anyone else confim this?
stock rom...
ive used on the link...will try to further test my theory...
Are you sure it worked? Did you try out any init.d scripts?
If yes - wow, nice discovery.

have you flashed the stock rom? i think you have to flash it first and then if you want to use custom rom flash CWM again then flash the custom..
NO problem. It happens to me a lot of times. All you gotta do is flash a four package file like XXKPI (2.3.4). And then flash any custom rom of your choice. Simple as that. Cheers
Just be carefully in the future, dont overclock ur fit at 844mhz. i think ~800 its fine.

Yup flashed it still didnt worked anyways i got it fixed from Samsung care centre but when i try to re flash cwm it completes but i get same issue then i again tried installing stock rom and i had some errors similar to below
E : cant mount system
install cwm using odin and do not overclock ur phone to more than 801 Mhz or else it will crash randomly

you have to format your sd card bro, format all (also sd ext if you have and merge partition)..but you have to back up before bro..
just format with your phone.
if it doesn't work, try to change your sd card..
based on my experience...
hahaha

Just make sure it's not just a corrupted data partition first before doing something as drastic as repartition.

You'll know that it's more than a corrupted partition when running disk scan/fix (using e2fsck from an adb shell through recovery) and then afterwards flashing the rom again doesn't work.

I did mine using Heimdall, Give this a go

ADB (Android Debug Bridge) comes with the Android SDK. Basically you boot the device into CWM recovery then connect the device to a computer using a USB cable and run the command 'adb shell' which will then give you a shell prompt where you can send commands directly to be run on the device.
If you're getting reboots from trying to wipe certain partitions repeatedly from CWM then that's a pretty strong indication that you have a corrupted partition.

4. Install the driver using zadig.exe as noted in the readme. BUT for me, P6200 usb driver is stated as Gadget Serial in the list. (not samsung usb composite)

[Q] Can someone help me in a problem with my Xperia C?

Hi guys, I have had Xperia C from about 2 days. I wanted to root it to change the system fonts and I did root it successfully. But when i replaced the system fonts using ROM TOOLBOX, the phone was stuck at the boot animation.
I do a hard reset by entering recovery mode, but nothing was changed, the phone is still stuck at the boot animation.

You could try putting the phone into download mode, and then use a flash tool (developer.sonymobile com/downloads/tool/flash-tool-for-xperia-devices/) to flash the phone back to stock.
This is a stock ROM: 4shared com/rar/wdOnCZw4/xperia_c_c2305_sony html
It may not be the stock ROM for your phone, you'll need to make sure it's 2305..

You could call it flash mode I guess, yeah.
But before trying a full flash, try going into recovery mode and selecting Wipe data/factory reset.
This will fix problems 99% of the time.
Also, I found a video that might aid you. I haven't watched it, but by the title it seems like it could help you.

If you can get into CWM can't you flash a different recovery, maybe TWRP, then flash a good ROM? I'm a fan of the OMNIROM Kit Kat 4.4.2, but there's lots to choose from.
I had trouble installing ROMs from CWM, but all that resolved with TWRP. I used 2.7.0.1 of TWRP, by the way.
Good luck, and report back.
Marc
Update to latest twrp (I prefer philz advanced recovery, myself) and try flashing again.
Oh, and if possible use a different ROM file as your download may have been corrupted.

Just download latest TWRP from Android Andi here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47970089 flash it thru your CWM, reboot into your new recovery, wipe system and flash a different ROM. Make sure you re-download whatever ROM you are going to use because as previously stated you may have gotten a bad download.

Read my last post. Use a different ROM then. There are plenty to choose from.
To be clear what you need to do is use the CWM you have to install A DIFFERENT recovery, one more compatible with a lot of the current custom ROMs. I have used TWRP so for example:
1. Boot to CWM with TWRP package on your microSD
2. Flash TWRP
3. Reboot into recovery... CWM will be gone and you will have TWRP instead
4. In Twrp Wipe caches and format system
5. Still In Twrp, Flash ROM of your choice from ROM downloaded onto your microsd
6. Reboot system and give it time.
Let us know how it goes!
Thank you everyone
Thank You Thanx a lot for helping me guys

Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535083and use the Philz recovery link for your device. Once finished you can reflash your existing TWRP zip you used earlier to regain TWRP recovery if thats what you want. Or you can just leave as is and have Philz recovery as that is a very good one as well. Your choice.
You could also use the SuperSu link from here http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu and just flash that. I believe that will work just the same. I havent, but have heard it works as well
Thanx

Once finished you can reflash your existing TWRP zip you used earlier to regain TWRP recovery if thats what you want. Or you can just leave as is and have Philz recovery as that is a very good one as well. Your choice.
You could also use the SuperSu link from here http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu and just flash that. I believe that will work just the same. I havent, but have heard it works as well
