If you go to the photo gallery (widget) on sense and open a photo, you can select the output of that photo (by default, its Sensation but if you have other devices on your network you can stream it to those devices as well).
When i click on a different device (for example my TV) and click Done, It says "Unfortunately, DMC stopped working". And thus, photo gallery closes.
This happens all the time and is really frustrating. Does anyone know what the problem is? or has anyone else seen this one before?!
does anyone have any ideas?!
Can someone test this and report whether or not he was able to use this feature without DMC issue?
Apparently some HTC users have reported that this issue exists even after a full wipe!

The yahoo mail in 4.9 doesn't work. i've only tried it over the regular network connection. I haven't tested it on wifi. may have results with wifi (hopefully).

I bet that you don't have a yahoo plus account. Not like Apple, Android do not contract with Yahoo then Yahoo mail in android support pop3 yahoo only.
i ran 4.0 for a while and loved it so tried 4.9 since its more similar than 4.5
aside from things mentioned already
horrible boot loop problem
wasn't just taking longer than usual as the build usually does, don't know if its because of the apps i install or what, but i let it sit for 30min and still wasn't booting. had to wipe twice today because of it.

Sync email for the gmail app isnt working...none of my emails are being pushed to my phone

The main problems when flashed to 4.9 aside from the previous posts is that I've been getting a constant error after every phone call i make.
I've encountered the following
- phone freezes when blutooth is enabled
- phone crashes after a call, since it crashes after a call it doesn't save any recent call
- if I scroll thru my contacts it does not display the Alphabet letters just "a"
- symbols like "_ - ( " on the qwerky kb are mixed up
- auto rotate doesn't rotate when I want it to. if I shake up the phone if sometimes kicks in, but it does work for the browser without a hitch.
- no paid apps, even ones I've purchased
- weatherbug doesn't work
what else....oh yeah, I had gloss suite b4 I flashed to build 4.9 and my calculator still has the gloss suite skin. I love this build can't wait for the final.

MMS works great. Not sure about problem in gmail...didn't check yet. plus If you all haven't, check out the HTC email app, it works and looks sweet. LOVE that I can rotate the screen in all 4 directions. He already said you might have to rotate twice bc it does get stuck sometimes. I don't use Bluetooth, but from everyone else it seems like it wouldn't work if I did. Hmm...what else?

I did, before flashing to 4.9. Since my post I flashed back to rc33 because I missed a call which caused the phone to crash so it never saved the missed call
Tested BT with Microsoft SYNC in my car... Paired great
but when enabled the stereo option in the car the phone crashed.
Aside from the previous posts I've also noticed that my ringdroid app doesn't work and force closes as soon as I try to open it.

Majority of 3rd party apps from market aren't compatiable with the htc cupcake build so therefore there having force closes which sucks
oh ok now I understand why 4.5 works with ringdroid and everything, I guess I'll just stick to my less aesthetically-pleasing-yet-more-stable 4.5 build. lol
Google+ instant upload of photos used to work on my Infuse, but has stopped working for unknown reasons. I tried clearing the app's data, but the problem persists. (Instant upload of videos has never worked.)
In my Infuse's Google+ settings, Instant Upload is enabled, and it's set to "photos and videos via mobile networks". (The setting for "only when charging" is disabled. Roaming Uploads is disabled, but I'm at home with an H+ connection.)
Stock ROM, not rooted.
Anyone else have this problem, or know how to stop it from recurring?

Yeppers - same problem here on the DX2. Google+ auto upload worked perfectly on my previous DX and even on this one when I first got it a few months ago. I thought it might have been a security app I was trying out (Lookout), but even after uninstalling that it won't upload. I'm interested to see if the new update in the pipes fixes the problem.
I find it weird that hardly anyone else has this problem, because there seem to be very few posts concerning it. I'm wondering if this is a feature many people are not using and therefore don't care if it works...

Recently Lowveld updated his ROM to version 3.3. HD playback suppose to be fixed already in v 3.0 (known orientation issue with blue stripes along entire screen).
I don't know what is your feeling but in my opinion entire aspect ratio is messed up with this fix. Until now I was using version 2.2 of Endymion ROM. I had an issue with playing videos in different orientation then they were recorderd but at least aspect ratio was OK.
Can anyone please confirm if the same is happening with your phones?
Another issue: With all custom roms (besides Cyanmogen and MIUI) after every reboot Cell broadcasting is enabled by default. Ufortunately my network (T-mobile in Poland) is broadcasting all the time some sex advertises and stuff like this. I'm receiving a message every 20 seconds so it's let's say - annoying. Does anybody know the way to disable it? First thing I have to do after restart is to disable Cell broadcasting. Unfortunatelly it's enabled again after next reboot.

I don't want to create useless board blowing posts only to reach more than 10 to get the permission to disclose some bugs I found in the current CM11_saga_flinny_alpha5..
First of all I wanna thank all developers for spending there spare time for such great projects!!
Issues I recognized:
1) Apps moved and located on the sd-card will loose the desktop link after reboot of the system as often as I place it onto the primary screen.
2) The current Brower often crashes whenever I'm on for example facebook watching pictures it crashes, reproducable.
3) in options under developer options activating error report doesn't bring any report up for sending via email
4) could anyone please evaluate if downloading i.e. Redphone or Textsecure works within the GooglePlay Store? I can't although it is compatible to android 4.4.2 so I guess that there is a mismatch between the googleplay and the alpha5 permissions

I had the second bug to. I reflashed and wiped cache and co and it was gone. No idea why.
I have Problems wieht the Headphones control. Does it work at your device? I get no symbol in the statusbar that the headphone is in still can hear music and sounds but the thee control bottums of the headset don´t work neither the microphon.

I can't although it is compatible to android 4.4.2 so I guess that there is still a mismatch between the AndroidManifest.xml and both of your ROMs. Permissions or something like that..?

I'm currently using the recommended 20140517—version and am having some problems with mobile data, so i assume this is a bug.
Mobile data in 3G networks works flawlessly, but in 2G networks it won't connect to any site/page or service. Though sometimes I get some incoming Whatssapp messages or push-news-content. Never Bad this problems with stock Roms. Provider is Vodafone Germany.
Is anyone else getting the error "Recording in Process in another app. Cannot Record." when opening the camera app for Verizons Z3V??
All other apps are closed so I'm not sure what this is referring to.
It also lets me record after receiving that error.. is this a bug or what

It is because of google now.
It actually still works fine, but google now is interfering with the input sensors so the camera thinks there is another recording going on. Just click OK and use your camera as normal.

I am sure they are, but you can check their support pages and add one if there is not already one.
I get the same message, except it will not let me record video. This is turning into a major problem quick.
Easy workaround!
If clicking ok after the error is too much...
1. Open Google Now
2.Go to Settings
3.click on Voice
4.click on "Ok Google" Detention
5. Unselect "from any screen"
Voila, I know because it was exactly after I selected that function that I started to have the error.
This is.just a.work arround but at least you know your z3v is not corrupted or broken...hopefully sony will.fix this soon

I'm having problems with the video camera, I get the message that says there is something recording in another app but still won't let me use the video camera. Is there a way to fix this????
