It's the RIL (Radio Interface Layer between Radio and ROM) on all Jelly Bean ROMs (CM10, AOKP, ...). There's nothing we can do about it but wait for a fix or a leaked JB ROM. Go back to a ICS based ROM and the issue will disappear.

Okay. I'll try that and see how it works out

WiFi on beans 6

So today when I got home from work I went to turn on my Wi-Fi and its not working. I hit the toggle and it turns white but nothing. When I go to settings it shows Wi-Fi off and if I try and slide the switch to on it won't stay. I am on jelly beans build 6 on the stock kernel. Wi-Fi was working yesterday just not today. Any idea what might be wrong?

Did you try to reboot? If that don't work I'd try to wipe cache, wipe dalvik, and fix permissions.

I had that problem and did a battery pull and reset my router.
I did the reboot wipe cache, dalvic and fix permissions with no luck. And my router is good, the Wi-Fi it won't even turn on, on my phone the switch automatically switches back to the off position. I'll try the battery pull. Also I flashed the Rom originally with lean kearnal then later on flashed the stock kernal on Beans post, don't know if that has anything to do with it. Thanks for your help though.

That's definitely the problem! I don't think it flashes necessary Wi-Fi files when you install it separately. Someone else had this problem in Beans thread recently. Flash Leankernel again and you'll have Wi-Fi OR if you disliked Leankernel, reflash the rom and choose the stock kernel.

Stock jb 4.1.2 - radio rom

Just upgraded to JB 4.1.2 from ICS using Samsung Kies. The signal is sometimes lost. Can i flash the Radio rom from ICS over the stock radio from JB 4.1.2?

If you have a custom recovery you can. See vincoms 1 stop sticky for radios in the dev forum. Ucli3 should work

[Q] [CDMA/LTE][WIP] CM10.1 4.2.2 Latest

Hello all,
I know that not everyone can post in the original development section - while I usually say posts should go in that thread for sake of sanity, if you have a question about my build please post it here.
Original Development Thread (for reference)
Buglist
Changelog
Thanks!
For anyone who has issue with GPS, I also had a problem after flashing CM10 [edit. Accidentally hit submit]. I created a recovery of my then current CM10 setup, flashed back to my stock recovery, installed GPS Test, took the device outside and let it get a good, strong lock, then flashed back to my CM10 recovery. I have had little issue with GPS since then, even after flashing new builds almost daily.

Did you get it resolved...?
Skrilax had a similar issue with GPS, and his process was to flash the JB soak test, then flash 10.1 and you should be good.
This is in the buglist:
Some (not all) seem to experience issues with GPS. If you have issues with GPS, please flash the JB soak (thanks for that great guide thedarkness000) and then flash CM10.1. GPS should work now.

Ooops, done it before myself.
Read your edited post, that's interesting... so the very act of getting a GPS lock in another build made it work? That's quite a bit easier of a process, thanks!
So, we have full MMS functionality now, with no FC?

Yes, the latest build MMS should work fully without any FC.

There are no 4.3 stock TW ROMS. They do not exist. Samsung hasn't made 4.3 for our device.

Clean flash it
Just may do that. Pretty sure that I did but now that I think about it I may have only done Cache, Data, and Dalvik.

Can't get mobile data working for ANY AOSP Roms 4.3/4.4?

My d2vzw Mobile data won't connect when I have LiquidSmootj 2.37 v4.3 and also won't work on Unofficial Parandroid 4.4.2? I've tried clearing dalvik and regular cache in recovery but nothing... I also restored IMEI but still nothing.. I can still make and recieve calls but no data... I'm running jellybeans rom 4.1.2 and the 4g is exellent and my data seems to be working good but I just wanted to know what's causing the mobile data problem with the 4.3 Roms and 4.4 Roms?

Make a bck up file
try factory reset install liquidsmooth 2.37 gapps 8/13 then u should be fine.. At least i was
U can also try flash bckup file of older version of liquidsmooth 2.9 or 2.10 then flash 2.37 gapps without wiping nothing to see if that works
flash thru recovery
Also check that ur on LTE/CDMA/Evdo/GSM/WCCDMA
good luck
Thanks! I'll do this but I dont think it's a liquidsmooth thing... My mobile data have been acting up with all the AOSP Roms, even the 4.2.2 Roms

Have you tried pulling the sim for a few minutes and then reinserting and rebooting?
Also maybe flash full mf1 firmware and then the new modem from the 4.3 ota. I think ML1, but double check in the firmware thread over in Android development.
I tried repulling the sim for a few minutes but nothing... I dont really want to do that reflashing all over again so i guess im done... Imma just stay with jellybeans... Anyway, tommorow im getting the new nexus 7 with pure AOSP sooo thank you anyway for your suggestions and I appreciate you guys help

Flashing firmware and modem are really easy. Just download the firmware, flash it, done. No setting rom stuff up. Worth a try if you're at your wits end.
Do i need to factory reset my phone or can i just flash it while im on a 4.1.2 Rom

Just flash the mf1 all in one firmware, clear caches and reboot. Then flash the ML1 modem that is also available in the same forum. No need to factory reset anything. Won't change a thing other than your baseband.
So silly question, but did you check mobile data settings and check to see if LTE/cdma /evdo were selected? Many users are reporting apps are flipping that setting (myself included on liquid) and it requires a manual switch.
