the counter is only for firmware (read: ROM) - it shouldn't count radios. They are completely separated.

Hes on factory stock. Flashable zips would be pointless.

I've been googling, and can't seem to find the proper files, though hopefully you guys could help.
Im trying to find the Stock Recovery, and Kernel for the Wifi US 8013 4.1.2 UCMA3 version of the note.
I've been trying Triangle away, didn't work, and i tried the whole OTA update, but says my tablet is modified and cannot continue.
I just hate it rooted, though would like the rest of the two files that i've mentioned stock.
Can anyone help me find the links and proper installation for this files, unless is Odin - PDA and remove teh F.ResetTime option and just have Reboot checked?
Thank you!
Usual source for firmware is sammobile.com.

Flash it and backup/extract the recovery/kernel? If you want them seperate from the rom..
All necessary images are in the official roms.

Thats the issue, i don't want to wipe my current rom, just because i want to get the kernel and recovery.... If i knew what to extract and how to set it up to install it via odin, i really wouldn't be asking :/

Deleted....sorry I was on another thread and thinking confused. If you want to flash back to stock factory file give me a second see if I can find the tar file for you.
buhohitr said:
This is the original firmware and you must flash it using ODIN. This include rom/bootloader/modem/kernel (everything), it will also wipe your twrp recovery also. After flashed this it will bring your phone back to factory stock. If you're thinking something else don't flash it and just post what you want and people here can help.

If you already have strong signal and no issue with data drop, then you don't need to upgrade, otherwise yes you could upgrade and possible it may cure your poor signal...hopefully. In my case, this new radio did nothing to my phone signal.
New NE1 modem for the I337M (Canadian variant)
Flash once with odin (no reboot)
Flash again with odin, reboot and enjoy!

Question if I am going to fresh the NE1 using Odin. Do I need to fresh the Modem to improve the reception.
Thanks

If you are flashing the full odin tar package, it already includes the new NE1 modem. No separate flashing of the modem is necessary.
Getting error about bad rar file, only downloading a 93.47 KB file...

The full Odin tar package is the one downloaded from sammobile that contains the bootloader, PDA, Phone, CSC that is roughly 2.36GB [I337MVLUFNE1_I337MOYAFNE2_I337MVLUFNE1_HOME.tar]

I can just flash this modem with TWRP right? Anyone try it yet? How does it compare to NC1?
Tried flashing the full Odin package twice and my modem never changed. I'm still NC1 not NE1

As far as I know you have to use desktop Odin to flash modems on this device, first flash unchecked reboot, load back into Odin and flash a second time. Idk why but a lot of us on i337m have to double flash this way to get it to stick. There's some threads on here with step by step details from the last OTA update, maybe search out those for more info.

Double flash didn't stick, so I triple flashed it and this time it did stick. I used Odin v3.09 desktop version and placed modem.bin into the CP field.
Baseband now shows NE1 !!

Yay!! how's the LTE signal? maybe it's too soon to tell =P
Tried to flash 4 times with Odin 3.09, no luck
Modem.bin only
Flashed modem.bin only.... odin 3.07 PC in phone slot.... results..... amazing.....

I wish I'd recorded my signal strength (-db) before upgrading but all I can say is WOW, never had LTE at home before and with 4G normally only two bars, now 3 to 4 bars with LTE. Great upgrade !!
For those of you still having issues, just try it again.
Untick the Auto Reboot. Power down manually using the off button after it flashes. I have much better luck getting the flash to stick this way.
flashed 3 times, no auto reboot using odin 3.09
Works great! Full LTE bar before, and full LTE bar after. So can't really tell the difference yet. Will need to try this in a subway

Yes that was the point, to show performance with LTE and wifi.
Signal went from -106dBm, 34 asu to -102dBm, 38 asu. Is that good?
I just bought an N920T, and it came with A0GE on it, but i intend to flash DARTHSTALKER v4 on it, which is COI5.
do i need to do anything special (Such as flashing stock COI5) first?
i notice @TEKHD recommends doing that for his rom:

Yes that's the way to do it, but make sure you go into
recovery mode first and do a factory reset before you
odin flash and make sure you are using Odin v3.10.7
Good luck,

greaT it's bootlooping.
i did just as you said; factory reset in the recoery, and then flashed the N920TUVU2COI5_N920TTMB2COI5_N920TUVU2COI5_HOME.tar
i don't even know how to stop it from BL'ing because it has not a removable battery.
can you help?

volume up+home+power to download mode, let whatever happen happen, then scroll down to wipe data/ factory reset. do that, won't bootloop after that

Stock firmware is on sammobile.com and flashing the stock ROM will remove twrp.

One little thing : Check Home CSC if you want to keep your data, if you want a full wipe select CSXX..
