How long until Asus firmware library gets JB? - Asus Transformer TF700

How long does it normally take Asus to update their firmware library with new releases? In this case Jelly Bean.
Anyone have any personal experience refreshing the site after an update?
Thanks in advance!
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2

I've seen it take anywhere between 2 and 10 days (approx)... The .30 firmware was posted in about 2 days if I recall correctly - and then removed, and then re-added again a few days later. So, you just never know.

Thanks.
Anyone have a link to the update? I'm tired of waiting .

Will Asus release a new unlock device app for unlocking the boot loader on JB?

Has anyone flashed this from Jelly Bean with CWM 6.0.1.4? I used this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1915079 but I wanted to get a clean install. Is it safe to simply flash normally via CWM from OTA JB? Using the zip just uploaded to ASUS' site?

My colleague was totally wrong... So, I just explained him how to verify what is the Android version instead of telling everyone he just got JB because of an OTA.

JB firmware is on the Asus website. Oz site has v v quick download speed

Nice quick and easy install too. Glad we only had to wait a couple of days. Got to hand it to Asus, they get these updates out quick as.
What is "Oz site"? Or is that just a typo?
Thanks.

yeah, you'll lose root and custom recovery
Thank you. I think it is better i will wait for a custom rom with root and a working custom recovery.

Updating

Hello, I wanna ask you, can I update?
1. I am unlocked
2. I am not rooted
3. I am on 4.0.3 official firmware
I bought my tablet with unlocked bootloader. So, I want to ask, can I update my tablet with downloading official firmware and placing it in my sd card? If yes, so I could upgrade directly to 4.2 or I should update to 4.1.2, then to 4.2? Thanks for answers!

BEFORE YOU UPDATE, consider doing NVflash. You won't be able to do that after you update your bootloader. Otherwise, i would suggest updating to 4.1.2, then 4.2.

I was hoping I could get it working. camera and gallery were, but Photosphere fc's after first shot.
think I'll put it on back burner for now until it's worked on more.
do you have any ideas?
I found a link for Facebook Home I'm gonna work on next.
I've also heard that the new Wi-Fi optimization setting in JB 4.2 and your wonderful new Xenogenesis adjusts Wi-Fi radio power. if that's so, then maybe adjusting Wi-Fi tx power might work now. think I'll work on that too.
I think photosphere requires specific hardware that Asus just don't have.
ok. I thought we had necessary hardware.
Out of curiosity, what kind of hardware do the Nexus gadgets have that the Transformer doesn't that prevents us from installing Photosphere? Pixie dust dispenser?

It's working, just tested. We have the option to keep both the new camera (photosphere) and the old one (original camera).

Agreed. I flashed the zip and it is working for me . Runs smoother than the stock camera app . Maybe it could possibly be an option for Cromi?

What did you use? I used a zip file that you flash in TWRP. I cut the two stock out and pasted it in sdcard as backup, and then booted to recovery and flashed the zip.
