Hard bricked Optimus V? - Optimus One, P500, V Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to fix this thing for a friend. He says it was charging over night, found it in the morning just looping on the LG screen. can't get to anything other than emergency download screen. I have tried several "unbrick" post and nothing is changing. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you able to enter recovery?? Vol down+home then power.. keep holding it til you see the recovery screen.
Wipe everything.. flash a fresh rom.

TY for taking the time to reply! I finally got it unbricked by using LGNPST. It was very strange the only fw that worked was LS670 then a reflash of the VM670. Now the problem is everything is zeroed out, MEID, ESN etc. Going to have time tonight to look in to that. Btw just got it unbricked about an hr ago. Thanks again.

Try a kdz flash. It should reset your numbers back to the original values

[Q] bricked i9000!!?

Hi!
My i9000 don´t boot anymore. it has got a boot loop. i just can see the galaxys logo. i even can´t access the recovery mode.
after every app crashed since yesterday, i tryed to reboot. then i got a boot loop (boot animation). when i had it after i flashed ics 2 weeks ago too, i fixed it with deleting dalvik cache and flashed the rom again. so i wanted to do again. i deleted the dalvik cache. then i (stupid ) thought before i flash again i try to reboot. and now nothing is working anymore.
Any ideas? my data is gone, right?
please help.....need my phone!!! can´t even access download mode
Try taking the battery out and have power through USB. Sometimes fixes my download mode issues.

i already tryed it. when it is connected through usb i can´t even turn it on. i only see the battery (empty, but it is not empty) and the loading circle....then after few seconds only the circle...then agin empty battery.....
even battery animation is not working...
the phone isn´t recognized by the pc at all...
now i got something new oO a blue magenta pattern on the whole screen
now its gone :-(
....
-------------------------------------------------------
maybe it´s because of i thought about buying an ipad2
My only suggestion left is let it sit without a powersource for a little. I haven't had any bricking issues so I don't have first hand experience

what can i do now?
You'll have to odin to stock. I don't have any links or files on hand right now. Maybe someone will pop in and drop it for you. If not I'll have it up in a few hours. Grats on getting into dl mode. It's a start.

thank you .....should i try this?
http://www.darkyrom.com/community/i...-this-is-the-stock-rom-for-sgs-gt-i9000.1115/
Stock is stock. I'm having trouble viewing the webpage but if it is an odin image it should work. You'd just want to find the latest stock image. Let me see if I can "try" and dig up a link. Don't hold me to it though. I'm in a building that eats mobile signal.

Tars+pit. You'll have to find the one for you. I can't get it open.
There are odin guides everywhere. Especially here on xda.

Please, read the thread about KDZ or LGMDP VERY CAREFULLY. There are very detailed guides how to do that. And, if you still can't get it, there is a Google Translate.

GS3 Stuck on Samsung Logo

I have been looking at forums and have not been able to find a workable solution. I rooted my GS3. I created a backup, wiped data, and tried to restore from backup. When i tried to restore, it said that an error occurred. I tried wiping data and cache again and rebooting, but the phone stays on the Samsung logo. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Wipe data and reflash rom or odin back to stock and start over.
Tried Odin but it won't recognize my device. I boot my phone into CWM and try flashing Odin, but it cannot find the phone.

1)Open Odin on your computer
2) turn off your phone
3) Hold: power button, volume down, and home button. This takes you to download mode.
4) Now connect your phone to your computer.

Thank you so much. I have no idea why i forgot to boot into download mode. after rooting 4 different devices, i would have expected better from myself.

Everything worked perfectly from Odin. Such a great help. Sorry for the late response. I have a seven-day old that is taking up some of my attention. . Thanks again, all! I can't express my full appreciation.

Bricked g2x

My g2x will not turn on at all. I've tried the g2x_v21e flasher that someone made and still not booting. It is stuck in apx and will not light up no matter what I try. I've tried flashing CWM as well as the freezer trick. Someone advise me on what I can do to fix the phone. Last known thing was it was clearing the user data in CWM and suddenly battery was pulled.

Try the cleanup batch if you are able to connect in APX mode. That would leave it as clean as it can be.

You have a stuck power button. Pull the battery and then put it back in. If it boots right away that will confirm it. You can try to clean it or have it replaced.
