Mods and admins: This app is a free app, but it's only on the Amazon Appstore, and you know them, I think an APK would be useful for the wider community

So, as some of you may have seen, the BBC finally made the game available for Android. However, they made a big mistake, of only putting it on the Amazon Appstore. For the sake of all those who don't like/have no access/don't have a credit card (the app is free anyway) to connect to Amazon, I've uploaded the apk. THIS IS NOT WAREZ, I AM NOT POSTING A PIRATE APK!
If you can access the Amazon Appstore, feel free to download it normally here:
http://www.amazon.com/Top-Gear-Stunt-School-Revolution/dp/B0090JC6DQ (US link, might work on UK phones)
The APK is here:
http://db.tt/YQjStao3
(a hefty ~90mb!)
Finally, somebody has the initiative to share this awesome free game although so hard to get :fingers-crossed:
It would be extraordinary :good:
Anyway, why don`t you upload it on a regular host to be more quick
There are several places that you can use and place the .apk in no time (like mediafire, zippyshare etc)
Seems cool, but there's no way I'me downloading it on my phone. To the computer.....

Can't use app store in UK. Please upload it for us poor Brits
Sorry guys, been having some upload issues with my internet. I'm leaving it uploading to my dropbox, dev-host isn't liking it, it'll be up soon

Added temporary dropbox link to OP. Will upload to dev-host when it gets back up again

Works great, just don't go into the stig section, they want the amazon app store to be installed.
Ps . How do you close it? I had to kill it with the back button, but is there an easier way?

Home and wait for it to die is what I do. Holding the back button doesn't save sometimes, so be careful. Also, the app is really hackable for "nuts", but I can't go there as it's against the rules
Update v1.1

Can you please do the effort to help us again if you like and when you could with the .apk

I've gone through my running applications, stoped any that I thought even might have something to do with it, but it is still there. With my work hours, I sleep till 11a. So it shows up sometime between 5a and then. Yesterday the green plus sign was a red star. Same advertisement type stuff.
Clicking on the link it goes from ad.leadboltapps.com something or another to some other app url to something with a .UK and them to the Play Store.

NFL HD Wallpapers was the culprit according to that app. Never had that issue before on my previous phone. Hopefully it is gone now. Thank you!

Add [SOLVED] to the title so others know there is a solution attached to this thread ...
cool !!! nice post
I've had "Go Keyboard" spam me with ads too. Root and permission management (permissions Pro on market) cured it, but w/o root, then you basically get rid of the app or live with spam...
Later,
Jason
AirBlocker from the play store has worked well for me.
Ringdroid uses air push ads. Download the app AddOns Dectector to see what apps use what kind of ads

The spam comes and goes, try the same app after they update it and see if it's good to go or it still sends spam. It's part of the free Android world....

Could you please give it a try and tell me what we should do to make the game better for you? I would greatly appreciate it!
To make it short, it's a word puzzle with lots of power-ups, available in almost every language and for almost all mobile platforms (iOS, Kindle, Nook - we'll publish those soon) with multiplayer as well as hot seat mode. The general idea is you can battle with up to four of your friends in any place and on any device. Power-ups as well as character abilites are there to force you to come up with a strategy for winning.
Anyway, please enjoy!
Please include rules explaining how to play because I honestly haven't figured it out

Thanks!
Its a neat idea, but none of those reviews strike me as legit. Especially the one from "Autom8r".

Haha, the one from Autom8r is me, of course, I gotta plug my own app. The rest, are legit.
But regardless, do YOU like it? What could I do better?
If your wondering why you have a single response only, its because your in the wrong thread... Nice app, nonetheless!

I like the idea and the UI a lot with one exception: the 'Edit Savings Plan' screenshot displays both icons ('Accept' and 'Cancel') on a hard-to-read, definitely 'do not click here!' red background.
Also, both icons seem to "weigh" the same, when one of them ('Accept') should be a call to action type (you can create subtle call to action buttons by increasing their contrast)

Let me present to you with a Sjly Chinese market. Also it's only in Chinese language but you will get the hang of it in no time.
Now here are the features of this market.
*all up to date useful apps from play store are available for download, free and paid (even those apps are available which have been removed from play store)
*auto installation of apps (for rooted phones only)
*apks of downloaded apps are saved on the phone
*we can choose which version of the app to download
*app updates are also available
*the app updates for most of the apps are progressive ones, means just the updated part of the app needs to be downloaded (***best feature***)
*while downloading any app, download speed is shown and download can paused/resumed
*and many more...
Enjoy this lovely Chinese market and it would be a delight if anyone could translate Chinese text on buttons.

Why would the Chinese care about your Google account? Seems more likely the US government will be doing the hacking on that.
At least here in germany (i don't know if anywhere else) Amazon App-Shop is offering usually paid apps (all in all amount of 100 Euro) for free!
This offer is only valid on 27 & 28 June, so be quick or be dead, lol.
There are cool apps inside, like Root Explorer, My Backup Pro, Sonic...
Take a look yourself:
