Tablet mode hacks usually involve hacking build.prop files to trick the phone to think it's a tablet, and thus it breaks most of the Play Store.
This is a true tablet mode.

i resolved browser FCs by installing the CM9.1 browser over yours. Works like a charm now. XDA isnt letting me attach a file at the moment. PM me if you want it via email or search the CM9.1 thread.

USB tethering (internet pass through) works on this rom and cm9 too
U can also try USB tether for root user just Google it

1. Download and put in your SDCARD.
2. Delete "Android" folder in your SDCARD
3. in CWM
- Make a FULL backup
- Advanced> Wipe Dalvik
- Mount&Storages > FORMAT /boot , /cache, /data, /System, /SD-EXT

You can try if u like but instead of starting from scratch u can work on a MIUI JB to iron-out the bugs in it.

Music player problems can be fixed by Opening File Explorer apps and choose Music in BROWSE tab.

I use CM9.1 build#11http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34339916&postcount=3060 with script 2 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34494119&postcount=1. And trust me it works for me. No lag in subway surfer as it bit leggy in starting in official rom.

Nope..
you can use jaggy rom 3.2.1 it is overclocked upto 800mhz
or flash any jaggy rom and then flash the old cranium kernal overclocked upto 1370 mhz

miui rom build #5 by rohanchrome can fulfuil your requirements as it has bug less and overclocked to 800Mhz or you can go with Jaggy Rom with old cramium kernel which is overclocked to 1307 Mhz
For gaming you should have also take care of RAM so download any app from play store to reduce ram use and happy gaming

Instructions:
Download the EverVolv-xxx.zip from the release link that follows
Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery
Move the EverVolv-xxx.zip to the root folder of your sdcard. Download the suggested Google Apps for CM9 from here (check http://goo-inside.me/gapps/ if you want to experiment with other gapps versions)
Enter Custom Recovery and:
- Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'
- Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (MUST DO)
- Select 'wipe dalvik cache'
- Select 'wipe system'
- Flash the EverVolv-xxx.zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the EverVolv-xxx.zip
- Flash gapps in the same way
Reboot (first boot will take ~2 mins)

Launcher not compatible...plz show screenshots
It works! The last to be installed need to be the launcher or it will not work throw an error about google search... If that happens to you after install google search and play services install the launcher.

the launcher works fine but lot of modifications are needed , because its not looking so good in our little pico

first install google now and services and restart the phone the install google home and enjoy

Restart your Pico
If that doesn't work -> unistall all these apps and install G Services next G Now and then G Launcher...
- setup the G Now and restrart It can works
- if you can't setup G Now try change language for Google Voice Search in settings and then you can comlete it Enjoy!

no we cant get the official update as pico's internal memory is very low
even the aosp based kitkat will be bigger in size for pico

any judgement on when will the roms come for pico of kitkat?
I don't know whats the problem with my phone.. when I open Google search (not the launcher ) it force closes...I am on mini cm10 build 5..I've also tried it on carbon 4.3 ROM..

FIX
Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US.
