So i was streaming music in my car via Bluetooth and my phone just shut off on its own. Now it will only vibrate but no boot logo or anything. Just one vibrate. I did a battery pull for 10 mins and still nothing.I hooked it up to my computer and my pc wont recognize anything is plugged in. Just that one vibrate lol. What do I do? Thank you:crying:

You try charging it? And if so.. did you try booting inton Odin?

Need urgent help!!!
I wanted to update Samsung Infuse from 2.2.1 to 2.3.5. I used Odin and I997UCKI4-Homebinary.tar.md5 but it got stuck at image.gz something. Later, after waiting for long time, i pulled the usb cable from Infuse and then all screwed up. The phone is flashing white light as soon as i plug it to PC. Even if i plug it to charger, still it flashing white light. In Odin, i am getting removed, added, removed, added, removed......continuosly. It seems like infuse is restarting continuosly. i tried plugin cable in pc, pressing both volume but nothing is working,
I my phone dead??
Did you pull battery before holding both volume buttons and pluging phone into usb

No Jerry, but will give a try. I have taken out battery from Infuse. Pressed both volume button and inserted usb cabe in laptop. but nothing happened.

Can some one plz help.....The phone is flashing white screen then goes blank then again white screen when pluged to laptop or charger. It actully getting restarted and goes off then again restart and goes off continuosly...
Nevermind. I was going to say odin back to stock but your having problems with the phone itself. Your phone is screwed. Do a warranty exchange if you can.

Hey guys, so I've been having difficulties getting my phone back to working order, I've tried factory resetting it by holding the vol buttons and power button, pulling battery, plugging in the usb, everything else. Still can't get into recovery or download mode.
When I do plug in the usb, it connects to my computer but then immediately cuts out again, and connects again in a loop.
Is there anything I can do? Or just wait until the S3 comes out :/

My samsung infuse is bricked. It will boot all the way up to the at&t logo screen, then keep booting the at&t screen. Now, I cannot even get the phone into the download mode; once in a while it will but only stays there for about 5 seconds then shuts off. I cannot get the phone to power up by pressing the power button or even allowing it to charge. Can someone help me to get the download mode to stay on and also to help me unbrick my phone please!
Edit: If I put it in download mode the screen says to download a custom os press up volume or down to cancel/reboot. If I press cancel it does not reboot, it only shuts off even when plugged into my computer; not even a charge. If I were to leave it alone when the message comes up, after 5 seconds or so the phone shuts off anyways. Is this phone finally done?? I am able to get it into download mode now just about every time I try..if that's a good sign or not idk.
Try and get the battery fully charged or use a charged battery if phone is not charging. Will shut off even plugged in if battery too low

You might be right actually because I just remembered my battery was a bit low before I began Unfortunately I do not have another battery and since I cannot get this one to charge. I will try what you mentioned and report back. Thanks!
Hi guys, I need some help with a restart issue. This is not a bootloop issue. When it's plugged into USB, it will go to the battery charge screen with the loading symbol, but then keep restarting itself from there. Holding the volume buttons does nothing, so I can't even get it into download mode. Any thoughts?

Try an usb jig which puts the device in download mode, you can find them cheap on ebay, I bought one because my buttons were damaged and it worked perfectly.

Hmmm...will this work for my situation, though? It seems like there's no charge on the battery either. I got this from someone else.

Check the power button it gets dirty from the inside and the button get stuck that happen to me when i was on stock froyo 2.2.1 without any modification no root no custom rom i tap the power button a couple of times and that fix the problem for some time but some time later the problem persist the solution was to take apart my infuse and clean the power button and the inside of the phone.

Okay, cleaned inside with q-tip & alcohol, got the battery fully charged, got the jig & plugged it in. Still goes through the restart loop whether it's starting normally or going into download mode with the jig. What else could be causing this?
I had my phone unlocked and it was sleeping and then when I came to turn it on nothing would happen. It wouldn't even come on when I plug the charger in. I got it to restart by pressing the bottom volume and power button at the same time. Anyone else have this problem?

I didn't understand, you got it to restart? does it work now?
can you see something? maybe try to turn it on, wait a minute and then call it, if you hear something your screen died..
also, try to get in to recovery mode or download mode..
