OK, I did watch the n00b guide and I did spend nigh-on 3 hours, no exaggeration, trying to find my solution among previous posts.
But it looks like I've really messed up.
Idiot that I am, I installed a P3113 ROM, and it worked, too. It was OK. But I was a bit worried so I thought I'd try to get a proper P3110 ROM going. I elected to go back to stock imagining that this would be the safest course.
What I think I did was wipe the thing altogether with some good old fashioned ham fisted clumsiness and not paying attention. I tried then getting a stock ROM and flashing it with ODIN. ODIN seems to think it's done the job, it goes to PASS and so on, but when I try to turn on I get the Tab 2 screen and then everything stops at the Samsung jingle screen. I can't power off completely, it just restarts. I CAN get into recovery and download but I can't do much else. ODIN mode says my Current binary is Samsung Official, so it's done something but I'm getting the fear.
When you stop laughing at me can you please advise my wisest course of action? Stupid thing is I can flash and mess around with my Desire S and GNex until the cows come home, but this has me flummoxed and greatly worried.
Can you go into recovery and wipe /data or factory reset?

I can. I tried that but it seems not to help. Thanks anyway.
Go to www.samfirmware.com
Download firmware and go to download mode and reflash again
Or if recovery stock so connect with kies and their is option to restore or recover firmware
Or if recovery Cwm, put cm10 or so in external sd ( copy from computer to card) then factory reset , delete cash and delete dalvik then flash it

Panic over, but thanks for your time chaps.
Let joy and relief flow unconstrained!
It's taken six hours but I installed and reinstalled and factory reset half a dozen times with P3110XXBLH1 and P3110XXBLH2.
And then I tried P3110XXALD4_OXALD4. This has worked.
That's a weight off. Sorry to bother the threads, I was starting to panic a bit. Typical.

Please I need help restoring my P3110 to it`s factory settings.
I was trying to change display density with LCD Density PRO and now I`m stuck with a bootloop. I can access both recovery and download modes, so I think an ODIN image will restore the tablet back again. I found some here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1838072
I purchased my P3110 in Brazil and none of those ODIN images refer to the brazilian model. Is there a problem if I just pick one of those (like the german or the UK firmware) and flash it to the brazilian P3110?
BTW, I can't mount my external_sd. CWM 6.0.1.1 just says it "can`t mount external_sd"
help
what recovery should i install should i install CWM or Phils
i want to install lollipop in gt-p3110 will it work or kitkat?
if u guys could help me i appreciate that thanks u guys

I installed CWM / root on my GT7+ and it has been running well. Then I started to play with LCD density. I changed it from default 160 to 180 then reboot - now it cannot boot (stuck after the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus" flash screen, never get to see the boot animation).
Good thing is that both CWM and download modes are still working. I notice the download mode screen on the GT7+ is different from the original GT and my i9000 phone (no "big yellow triangle").
I have a Canadian wifi only GT7+ with LB2 firmware. Searching through posts I notice no one has a copy of this FW yet. I downloaded the USA FW anyway.
I have tried installing the US FW (in ZIP) by CWM - it said "bad" and installation aborted. Then I tried ODIN - problem is, ODIN cannot detect my GT7+. Before anyone "suggest", yes I have used ODIN before and I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing the USB driver, unplugging / plugging the cable etc. I am using Windows 7 and I even went back and tried it on my WinXP laptop, to no avail.
In any case, from reading forum posts, I doubt that my Canadian GT7+ would take the US firmware. All I can hope for is someone posting a hard copy of the LB2 firmware or the ICS firmware (must be hard copy and not over-the-air, because I cannot boot into my tab anymore), or to try one of the custom ROMs.
Did you make a backup in CWM before you started messing with system stuff like the density? If so, just restore it and you should be fine. (The CWM backup makes a copy of your kernel and system partitions, as well as the data parition, so it should get everything working.)
You did make a backup, right? Please say that you made a backup and just forgot about it.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO I did not ..... *bang head* *bang head* *bang head* *bang head* *bang head* ..... *snap neck*
You might have to use a US firmware. Do you have the wifi only 6210 or a 3g model?
Which .zip did you try to install? Perhaps it was a bad download? You may have to play a few games to get things working again, though I have no idea how you'd go about getting the version of firmware you had previously.
If your /system partition is corrupted, you will pretty much have to use ODIN... so I'd concentrate in getting ODIN to recognize the tablet. Have you EVER been able to see that tablet with odin? If not, you might have some kind of driver conflict or something (okay, I'm taking guesses...)
Try to get someone to make a nandroid of a factory wiped device and send you those files - you might be able to restore them.
Funny thing is.. I'd almost suggest using mobile ODIN, but if you can't boot into android to begin with, that won't help much.
If you boot into CWM, can you connect to the tablet via adb? (If it's one of the CWM's that I put out, then ADB _is_ enabled.) That might give you some hint as to the driver issue. (If adb works, at least you know that the USB driver is functioning.)
..
To share with you my experience and hopefully it will help. When I first used Odin with 7+, I thought holding the volume- and press the powerbutton will bring me to the restore mode but the windows didn't recognized my phone,at the end I realized that I need to do one more extra step which is to press the volume+ button again to get into the restore mode , then the Odin can detect the tab
Hi there, go into recovery mode and make a softreset! Wipe cache and reboot. The lcd density changer do not work with touch wiz. You have to use another launcher. Then you can change the density!

THANK YOU! Excellent idea. My nephew also bought a GT7+ (he told me about the sale at BB). I went through installing CWM with him last week. I'll ask him to make a nandroid backup and copy it to the external sd card for me.
You are a life saver! Will update next week.
P.S. All working again, FLAWLESS!
I used odin to flash what I thought was rooted firmware to my galaxy note ii L900 sprint phone. Odin said it was successfully installed but when it boots up it gets to the samsung screen and stays there forever. I think this maybe be because I used L900VPALJ1 firmware and my phone was on L900VPAMA7. I don't have TWRP installed or anything like that, so is it possible to use ODIN to flash the stock firmware back on? I don't know how I can do this since Odin seems to use only .tar.md5 pda files and the firmware I found was several .img files and 100s of folders... I do have access to my brothers phone which is the same exact model, can I maybe rip his firmware somehow? Thanks.
Power off your phone, (you'll probably have to do a battery pull) then press the power, home and volume up button until you see the samsung screen. This will take you to stock recovery from here you should wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, wipe system then restore from a back up (if you made one) or just do a factory reset, with a factor reset you will lose all your data. If that doesn't work check out qbking77.com he has a video on how to uroot/unbrick your phone

My suggestion... You can look for the stock firmware for your phone to flash it with Odin.. You can find it in by searching, because I downloaded it several days ago. I've ever once have it but I think I losted it now... I am sorry. I hope this helps you...

Hello, all.
I come here to you after trying all my knowledge allowed me and following all instructions I could understand.
My phone got bricked out of nothing, just starting rebooting itself and eventually got stuck on the initial logo.
Tried the hard reset but the files were corrupted and it said it could not load original files.
Then, started to use odin to try to load a stock rom, but odin is not able to complete the operation. I have tried odin3.07, 3.09 and then 1.3, no luck.
So, before I give up I come here asking for some wisdom.
Thanks in advance.
So a few weeks ago I rooted and installed a custom rom on my cousins tablet. He said it started acted weird and then said his rom had an available update so he downloaded and installed it. Now its stuck in a boot loop. I tried to tell him to put it in recovery mode but he ended up putting it in odin instead. I then told him to reboot it into recovery mode saying doing the opposite of what he just done, given the fact that this is all thru texting bc he lives 500 miles away. He said that the tried recovery mode but just shuts off instead. Would odin wipe the recovery image off his tablet? If so what can he do to fix it? I told him that he can try to go thru odin and reinstall cwm recovery again but I'm just taking a wild guess at it. I feel bad and personally responsible for the problem bc I convinced him to let me work on it but its hard to provide tech support when its not in front of u...any ideas or solutions to this?
Thanks!

if he can get in to download mode, tell him to download the latest firmware for his product from sammobile.com, then flash it through Odin. it would wipe everything including the recovery image - but the firmware should install stock recovery on his tab so he can do a wipe data/factory reset from there. Don't feel too bad, i'm sure he knew the risks (unless you skipped that bit)
P.S Which tab is it? which rom was installed?
He got it to work by reflashing cwm thru odin and everything booted up normally from what I understand with all his apps still there.
He's on the 7" tab 2 and running the newest pacman rom.

Hey Everyone. First of all I would like to say that I've had this device for about a year and a half, but it bricked? on me in only 4 months. I've tried countless methods to fix it but no go. Then as time went on I completely forgot about it. Now I don't have my sd card that I used for it any more.
The problem? One day I accidentally forgot to charge my tablet and it died on me, so I charged it right back up and turned it on. Everything went well, I got through the logo screen and everything, but then it just hangs there right before I hit the Home screen where you can do your code and everything.
Methods I've attempted:
I've tried going through CWM recovery to fix the issue but then I notice that it says near the bottom as it loads "E: Can't open/cache/recovery/log" and it has the same "E: Can't open/..." for everything. Can't mount, wipe cache, wipe data, restore, I have no backup (stupid right), can't do anything. Also, when I do attempt to wipe data through CWM I notice "E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0" if that has any special meaning.
I've tried flashing stock firmware through odin multiple times on different usb ports and different computers.
I've tried flashing PIT file (I'm not really sure if thats how you're supposed to do it but yea, I flashed the PIT file through odin by itself and with stock firmware)
Misc. Info: I did have a custom ROM installed(can't really remember which one), I also have the app2sd installed, the only thing that struck out to me when my tablet went out is that it received an OTA update for 4.1.2? and for some reason it went through even though I never intended to update.
I'm really, REALLY, open to any suggestion that could possibly help fix this tablet. On the other hand if the cold hard truth is that its gone forever or that I simply just have to take it back to Samsung (which I highly doubt I'll be able to), then please by all means let me know.
THANK YOU!!!
Bump
Help Please
Did you try flashing a different recovery again. CWM? Also after installing stock through odin try a factory wipe. It would probably help to know what your last rom was.

OK, Ive been without my note for a whole day and been researching wht to do nonstop
What happened to me was that, since i had updated to official kitkat, i soon developed a taste for lollipop, and went on to try out different ROMs and finally settled on to crDroid
So it was one of those days where everything was going well until the note stopped opening apps for like a minute then showd a black screen and then all of a sudden restarted
Since this was a Sammy i thought it would get back up again.... But no, even a 5 minute didnt wake this beast up, it remained stuck at the boot logo, i.e, Samasung Galaxy Note 10.1
Im like ok ill go on do a factory reset and wipe cache and all, upon trying to accesss the recovery after the boot logo the recovery kinda opens then gets back at boot logo, a black screen shows up then turns on to be a full brightness black screen for a sec then goes back
I can access the download mode and can odin things but they fail every single time.
I have tried to odin a recovery and a stock recovery so far and they show a nand write error
i also have tried to PIT but they get stuck at get PIT for mapping
I have also tried all versions of odin tried changing a USB Port and the wire with no success
So is there any hope for my NOTE??
Please i need help its urgent

i have the same problem from 2 months and i am finally got that i must replace the motherboard
Sounds like its written its last, flash is dead.
Since you are able to enter in download mode there is hope. Trying to flash recovery which doesn't match the firmware version will always fail. So, try flashing some of the base firmwares which will return everything to stock. I was in your situation few months ago and managed to flash Android Revolution HD 4.4.2 after first flashing stock firmware via odin. I got my 4.4.2 base firmware from "sammobile.com", firmware section (sorry i don't have enough posts for using links).
I remember i tried flashing TWRP for GT N8000 and i also tried Philz then CWM all for GT N8000
I also tried flashing base rom but it gives NAND write fail
Nand write fail can mean damaged PIT or the actual nand memory is damaged and needs a new motherboard .
flash with pit file
found these pit files for the device.
you can flash the pit file for GT-N8000 in odin
don't forget to repartition, it's a very delicate situation, you don't want to mess it up, before going to this, you should confirm if the size are same. you wont like to flash a 16gb to 32gb partition.

same problem for me, this did not work, still write error
I have a similar problem. Everything is stuck. I am tryingo to go back to stock, but if I try to connect (via Odin, Heimdall, fastbot or adb sideload) i can't.
Is there any advice?
Thanks
nope not yet
I'm early ???
So it turned out that my AMAZING tablet had its storage device corrupted... I. E I exceeded the read write count
Similar problem Bricked N8005
I bought my N8005 (variant of N8000 but phone is disabled just data 3G is available) in 2012. I rooted it once and used custom rom for a while but last year installed official stock ROM again. Yesterday I started a game called "zombidle" (possibly this is an unnecessary info) and tablet restarted itself but stuck on "samsung" logo.
I tried to enter recovery mode but it always restarted and cannot enter recovery mode.
Tried to install different versions of CWM, Philz and TWRP recovery using odin but it always FAILed when NANDwrite started. Tried odin 1.85, 1.87, 3.07, 3.09, 3.12 but all same.
I tried to install same stock ROM but always FAILed.
Then I tried to install a custom rom but it failed too.
I read about bad pit files. Searched internet and found some pit files but nothing changed, FAILed at same point.
Did I finished all solutions?
Should I take it to the doctor?
Any sugesstions?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Today I took it to the Samsung doctors. They said that; this is a mainboard issue and mainboard needs to be changed. That will be over 400TL (TL=Turkish Lira). Device is still in markets and new N8005 is 1300TL (i think this is also expensive. Because new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 T817 32GB 9.7" is 1900TL in my country).
Does it worth to fix? Any opinions? Can I fix it myself somehow?
Nand write fail probable defunct memory.
