Is there any way to get Samsung Galaxy S3 Weather/Clock app for rooted Desire S?
New S3 clock has a nice real weather background. Thats cool.

I tried to install the Accuweather clock app available in Play store. But,its not the same as new S3 clock.
I tried with S3 apk. But, installation failed. I think the app checks device manufacturer flag in build.prop file, may be. Not sure.
Is there any other way?

It's not exactly the same but the Fancy Widget weather app is pretty close. There are plenty of skins you can download for it too which could help you get the look you want.
The latest Beautiful Widgets Pro is actually pretty nice as well. They both have that 4x1 widget. Give them a try till someone can port the SGS2 version over to our Sensation.

Try uccw. It is in the play store. Just need to find the skin you like. App is free.

Don't know if it requires android 4.2.1 or not, but that's when I got it (CM10.1)

The widget seems to be rendered by the weather app. So, here's the APK. You can try installing it and see if the widget appears up in the list of widgets.
