The perfect system for me would be a seven inch note. I have a Note 10.1 and love it but still find a need for the smaller footprint at work. I have a HTC View with a pen and use it with Lecture notes as my primary tool
Does anyone know if Samsung has ever discussed a 7 in Note?
BOB
for that get the note II its 5.5 inch so not much smaller than 7 in
Can't see them releasing anything between the 5.5 and 10.1 screens. On a personal level a note 14.1 would be perfect.... Full A4 sized screen mmmhh
You could try the tab 2!

As far as I know a 7" note is planed.

Spen is only for note

I really don’t think 7 inch is necessary
it‘s too small for a tablet
especially for the note users.
I have a personal dislike towards 7 inch tablets - too big to be a phone too small to be a tablet. I'm really digging the Note 2's size tho.

I am personally quite fond of 7" tablets. It's the perfect size between usability and portability.
I would like a 7" galaxy note but for me now i have the galaxy note 10.1 and the 5.3 one and if they made 7" then i would not buy the 5.5 one and i would sell my 10.1. So in conclusion i think if they made a 7" galaxy note it would be bad for the 5.5 one

I really liked the Samsung 8.9 inch tablet--just the ideal size and weight for me--and would have gotten it if not for the many poor reviews. If there's a 8.9 inch note, I would be really interested!
Have you ever tried taking serious notes on a 7 inch screen? Too small. You need that 10 inches to really take notes.

To be fair, I've taken full page notes on my Note 5.3, and though it's a little unwieldy, it's certainly not impossible.

I use three HTC 7 in with a pen Stanford love the size. This 10.1 note software would be great

I take notes on nexus 7 and is perfect. Just hate the capacitive screen for that task.

I love the size of my Xoom, think its just the right size, especially as I have been playing about with the Samsung XE700, its a nice quick device but being i5 based its fan is annoying and with an 11.6" screen its too big to carry around.
The Surface while coming in 2 flavours (ARM/x86) has a 10.6" screen apparently so might just be a bit too large..
I would actually be happier if it had a 12 or 13" screen

Well 10.1 < 10.6 < 11.6.
No, I think it will be a good size, however like some of the others I'd like to see a larger screen tablet.
dudes..

I'd go for N7

thats the last thing in this world i'd buy
i want a microsoft surface when it comes out,
i have enough cash with me right now to buy a nexus 7 but i still long for a sgs3
Nexus 7 because of newer features.
Nexus 7
Nexus 7 for having better processor.
iPad 3 for bigger screen.
Nexus 7 if you want Android updates that bring better features.
I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it's still on Android 3.2 honeycomb.
It's one of the reasons that I bought this nexus. My future android devices will all be nexus.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
If you dont mind having a smaller screen go for the nexus 7 i have a galaxy tab but its really slow also nexus 7 has jellybean and will recieve future updates before the galaxy tab (if they ever get an update) i really hope google makes a 10.1" version of the nexus, hope i helped

hi jainkashish96! for me is nexus 7 for same reasons of choosing galaxy nexus. it's google's "official" tablet, full support, fresh updates with no long waiting, no limitation caused by other company and olso an nvidia kay! i think Kay is one of the best idea for mobile world, especially for tablets . don't forget the dimension, perfect for me, a good compromise.
Nexus 7 for sure Go for it
take a look at this, http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/28/nexus-7-review/ and keep in mind function like google now that is million times better than s-voice that personally consider an app/service that samsung had to add for upcoming voice assistant services, but is only a s**** app on a device, badly developed
interessant question i have the same problem do you want hel pme please?

Are you sure' I have doubt.. I don't know what to do really... mmmm
So the Galaxy Note 10.1 has this cool little features called Multiscreen, basically you can run two different applications side-by-side simultaneously. Now the Note 10.1 is to run on ICS, so what would be the chances of implementing this on our tabs? Or is it even possible?
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda premium
it depends on our hardware, if our tab can handle this kind of mods, i think that Samsung will push it in newer updates (in case they don't forget about us) or they will (as usual) release a new 7.7 inch tablet with all those new features of the note and tab 2.

Guess if another 7.7 does come out and it offers this option maybe it could be ported, I don't know if another 7.7 will be released our tab hasn't had that much success and with the success of the Nexus 7 I highly doubt there will be another 7.7
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda premium
yeah but our tab haven't seen the success because of apple lawyers, otherwise, it should be one the best selling tablets (the thinnest, lightest, gorgeous screen, good hardware..)

Galaxy Tab 7.7
I read somewhere (can't find the article now) that some Galaxy Note 2 where missing the Multiscreen function but others where not, it all had to do with the ones that where missing it had an older firmware. So now my question is since both the Note 2 and galaxy Note tab 10.1 have it, could it be possible to port it over to our tab? Or it won't work because of the screen size?

OK all, I'm ready to upgrade but, I'm stuck on what to have. I have been using the amazingly versatile Galaxy SII for just over two years. I love the flexibility of Android and the quality of Samsung so that is where I plan on staying. My options are excessive, which one of the following devices shop you recommend. I have decided it will be one of these because of the screen size.
Galaxy S4
Galaxy Mega
Galaxy Note 2
Galaxy 8
Alternatively, I am intrigued by the S4 zoom, I take a lot of pics. But, I am not convinced the lack of screen size is made up for with a better zoom.
And go........

s4 zoom the best for picturing but personally I prefer s4 LTE
Come on people I need more than one response
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I'd definitely go with the S4. My coworker has the note 2 and i have the s4 and i like mine a lot more than hers. with the note 2 they only advantage is the screen size, the s4 has the air gestures, remote capability, quad core, etc. i love it, the best phone ive ever had, i got it almost 2 weeks ago and im still learning from it.
Samsung Galaxy S4 ! You will not regret...!
Yeah the Samsung Galaxy S4 would be a good buy from the list you gave.

Apologies for not responding earlier, I don't care about cost, and to make it worse I've decided to go for the Sony Ericsson Z1 haha, I have decided it tackles all my needs. Screen size, quality, and with the new interchangeable lenses it's all good

Thinking about getting a note 8. What is every ones opinion on it. I currently have a nexus 7 2013, Ipad2 and a hp touchpad, but have always wanted to try out a note device. What do people like about it and what do they hate.
Ya it is an interesting buy as it is an 8 inch tab with all features of galaxy note
