[THEME-LWP-ROM-WIP] Beer Lovers ADW Theme. [One Hell Of A LWP On Its Way]

So I've been fiddling with this theme since last night for personal use, and I was wondering if there's any other beer lovers who would actually use this theme, or a series of others like it, for ADW.
Yes, no, maybe so? Should I even be doing this? Lol Seems like a lawsuit would be imminent. More than likely, right? Anyway. Just looking for some feedback. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Here's a concept for the ROM I'm working on, "Black Betty"
It will be based off of Calkulin's EViO 2 Series.
I wanna take my time on this, as it'll be my first. But there's gonna be some very heavy themeing. I will need a handful of testers/partners, and I'll let you know when I'm ready for that. Stay tuned,ladies and jellyspoons.

A LWP like that scene, or even zoomed in, to only show the cascade. Majority will just wonder, "What is that". The enlightened ones will see it and know exactly what it is.

A Boot animation would be cool, except I would probably blow up my battery from resetting my phone. lol Besides, I would keep getting pissed that the pour didn't finish, unless you wipe dalvik on every reboot...

ALPHA Mesmerize AOSP ROM Discussion w/Pics

Last night was an interesting night for me. With the help of jt1134, of course, I was able to get a semi-working build of AOSP to load and boot up on the Mesmerize. For those of you who have not seen this, it is pretty neat stuff. This means NO TOUCHWIZ on the phone at all. Pure google goodness! What this also means right now, is a lot of work for the people involved. These guys have been really going at it lately and it is slowly paying off.
I'd like to pay credit to these guys for their work so far and all their work in the future, as I'm hope they won't be stopping any time soon.

Last night I got to do a very small part in helping out and I was glad to be able to be a part of this.
This required a modified kernel to be able to load and boot. Although I have built several kernels using jt's github source, this is the first time I have had to modify content and it gave me insight into some of what is going on in the kernel. It's definitely more than I had ever thought before.

I will not be releasing this build, as I do not feel comfortable with it's stability just yet. I also want to get jt's approval before letting it out into the wild since I am following his lead on all of this. This was done more for discussion purposes to see what you guys think and to let you know that work is being done to give you more options than just ROMs made from stock.

I know you are all super excited about the updates, but if you look at the build number in the picture, it says 2.1-update1 ECLAIR.
jt has been working on this for 3 months. I just got the Mes to load up last night. Let's see how things go and maybe we'll start an Alpha ROM thread in the development section.

Yeah, there's a pretty good list of wallpapers in it. These guys are really putting some work in to making a top notch product. If we can get a few more kinks out of the Mesmerize version, I'll release an Alpha.

Looks like it's on the side burner for now. The good news is, the reason that it's been put on the side burner is that it seems possible that a 2.3 AOSP build may fix some of the problems that are happening in the 2.2 build. I don't have many of the details, but they've got the first steps working. As soon as there is a build that I can start to work with, I will post pics.

Request: Team Acid Logo (Done)

Who wants to make us a Team Acid logo? Now that we're using the Aroma installer on more ROMs I figured we should have a logo or splash screen. Not being too picky here, just something of moderately high resolution so we can scale it down to fit our needs.
Seeing that I'm not too artistically inclined and since Raver's been working on other projects (he actually knows how to use Photoshop/Gimp) I'm asking for people to submit their artwork here! It'd be greatly appreciated.
Try to stick with the theme "Acid" (get it? Theme Acid? No? Haha? Okay, I give up).

After much thought, the other members of Team Acid and I have decided that we're going with theexel's green themed splash screen.

thanks for pointing out the mistake. showed up fine on the xda app though so didn't think anything of it. now on the being used by many others, i don't see how. the biohazard symbol maybe, but not the image as a whole. my submission was totally unique where i actually used layering and transparencies with the android logo and biohazard symbol and then used my own glowing effect settings through layering properties to get the desired effect. i could go into details on the actual settings, but don't want to ruin this thread. i am glad you do like this. actually made a series of these to try and make a bootanimation, but for some reason it don't work. maybe someone could help me out with it and see why it won't work. anyway, glad you guys like.

i should be able to work something out but ill run a few ideas past ya when i get chance
i think the sig limit is 500px wide and only 100px high which is real hard to work with but ill check then ill get to work guys

really nice job i miss the days of me sitting in photoshop doing sigs and what. mine were never as good as yours but it was fun none the less

Well met artistic brother.
You can always count on me for honest cometary.
My sister was a free spirit from HELL so i'm used to her painting over a whole canvas with white or black after not liking the end product.
Even if i said it was perfect..... she hated it.
Today i spent a whole day on the digital canvas to show her how to use and think 21st century about art.
Don't get me wrong.. the handy work of the paint brush "as in a real paint brush" will not be forgotten but... time to evolve.
Am i crazy..... am i human.

I have to agree with him. I have nothing against the team but, its been 3 months since we got the last update. And and that feeling of being excited is just fading. I sure hope we get a new update. Not ASAP, but surely soon. n_n

ok so everything is solved and your MONEY SCAM is also sorted out so now lets talk about UNIMPORTANT AND USELESS THINGS called UPDATE.......or wait should we enjoys other IMPORTANT discussions about SCAMS and burnt out mother board or maybe update which was to come last weekend??????
And yeah another thing what about the money donated by us which was spent by maclaw on his computer games,his parents,his gf,his bf,his dog or whoever......how are we going to get it back?????DONATIONS ALL THE WAY NO UPDATE AND YOU GUYS STILL HAVE GUTS TO SHOW DONATE BUTTON ON YOUR WEBSITE......we just wanted ics on our phone but in the end all of this got limited to a money scam and no development........i feel sorry for none other than myself for having a dream of good rom on my device which was broken by you all money thirsty people.......i will never ever believe in anything like this in my life again...thank you for all this..........

I can certainly understand why many of you are upset, but lets calm down, take a deep breath, and wait and see if new releases happen. We don't need page after page of rants that in the end accomplish nothing.
