I wanted to know if anyone has successfully backed up the original HTC Devanagri font for HTC Explorer through the OTA 1.31.xx.
I installed custom rom without backing up the previous one.
Please help i want that font on urgent basis.
I copied them from my friend's phone to my phone but they are not working with HTC indic IME looks like it needs to register it self as a font??

Add your font at /system/etc/fallback_fonts.xml
Just open with a text editor and use the same syntax as the rest of the file.
Also, you don't need HTC's font. You can just use one of these

hey experts !! i have a htc hd2 phone and i wanted to install all the nice new animated wallpapers that you have available to download. BUT, when i save the files to my phone and go to the MENU-HOME WALLPAPER-ANIMATED WALLPAPER, it doesnt show .. and when i go to file explorer, it shows that it is ON my phone, but it doesnt install successfully .. can you plz tell me what i am doing wrong ?? thankz.
I accidentally installed a new font on my phone, don't ask how, and was wondering if there was anyway to get it back to the default?

You should be able to use the font flasher from this post:

It has a link to a thread with over 300 different fonts. If you want the font that came with your current ROM just re-flash the ROM and the default font should be restored.

I want to change the Smilies from Windows Phone 7.
There are many Smilies that i dont need. But i need Smilies like that ":*" and want to edit a Smilie to that.
How i make that ? Wich System file?

hey , just mod it the way you like and I make you an update cab for your rom so that you don't need to reflash or copy it
so just mod the 2 .dll's

Hi everyone... i temporary rooted my device coz i really wanted to remove bloatwares since i wont be using this phone in japan....accidentally I deleted a few apk where I thought bloatwares.. now i cant use the default dialer and the i cant save contacts.... i tried to use other replacement app but still i cant use them.. can anybody help me.. I have a Jellybean 4.2.2, Build No. V12R44A... I need back up of APK's coz I need to use the dialer and so for me to save contacts.

Hi Hechis thank you i do appreciate your help however , I downloaded the file but when the update fails, the application force closes.. I think I also deleted an update file. Im not sure... but I really do think that what i need is a system file back up.. Pls someone help me..
Hello android fans, yesterday i installed with my friends help the maximus hd rom for my htc one s..all was perfect, until i had the stupid idea to change my font and downloaded the font installer app...the first time it was all ok, at the second change , when i rebootet my phone it wont start, there is only the white display with the htc one logo...the recovery mode does work but i don't know what to do please help me...sorry for my english i'm from italy..
