Text messaging problem

Hey guys. Im having some trouble with my text messaging. When ever i receive messages, it is showing that i received them 4 hours ago. So all my received messages are going to the top and messing up my chats. Does any one know how to fix this?

What rom are you running? I had this issue with the stock rom.

I'm using cognition 2.2.beta.9.1.3. It's thebrogers build if that matters.

Best bet usa to flash back to Cognition and see if the issue goes away.

Hey...just got the Captivate yesterday and had the same problem. Are you on Rogers (or another provider besides AT&T)? This is more likely a network problem. Download the "SMS Time Fix" app. It will fix the problem.

Yes its a rogers phone and I'm using it with fido. Thanks that fixed the problem.

Won't send or receive pictures!

Running v2 beta3 and my phone won't send our receive pictures. Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?

Did you restore system data with TB? Also why are you still running the beta?

You probably have Juice Defender. Just disable WiFi on your phone and then click the download button or send the image. Then reenable the WiFi button from your notification bar.
Lot of people seem to have issues with sending and receiving mms images or video.

By any chance dies the error say that the picture was deleted???
My friend keeps in getting that error when I send him pictures.

Mms showing up as links?

Hi there. I want to know if anyone has had problems with their mms going out as a link? My friend has an iPhone 4 and she says my mms pics I send her come in as links instead of just the picture.

SMS not working

I've currently got CM9 stable running on my skyrocket. For the most part it runs fine although I am having an issue with text messages. Off and on my SMS stops working. I cannot send nor receive them. No errors or anything just no messages.
I tried searching to no avail but i am currently at work and only have my phone to search with, so searching kinda sucks.
I originally started with nightlies then stable. No issues other than that.
Help me get my text messaging fixed!! Thanks!

Did u ensure it apn settings were correct?

SMS works most of the time, but it occasionally drops for a few hours.
I can confirm the apn with my neighbors skyrocket when I get home. We're both running cm9. He doesn't have any issues.
If they APN wasn't correct wouldn't it not work all the time?

[Q] Evo Shift Flashed to MetroPCS no voice mail alert

Hi
My evo shift works perfectly with MMS and internet flashed to Metro PCS... but when I get a voicemail I don't receive an alert telling me I have a voicemail or the symbol that appears. I am running cm7 aosp rom stable. Is there a fix for this? Thanks! Todd
