[Q] How to install MTP USB drivers? - Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus

I am started to hate Kies and now I'm starting to really hate everything!!
I'm trying to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Wi-Fi UK GT-P6210 Build number: HTJ85B P6210XXLB1.
I thought I could upgrade via Wifi but apparently it doesn't work (and it doesn't) and I have to use Kies. The ADB USB drives install but the MTP drivers just will not install. I've tried all the workarounds I could find, installed and reinstalled, reset my Samsung and restarted my PC. Same problem. Tried on my Laptop. Didn't work. Downloaded a new Windows MTP driver. I mean this is ridiculous.
Also if I use this SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe or the Kies versions I get a long list of drivers and no indication of which one is the correct one. I tried all of them. Same result.
What next? Destroy it?

Kies Android MTP is not installed correctly!

Hello everybody, lately every time I try to use Kies, the Android MTP driver does not install correctly and on Kies it says it is connecting but it never connects. I switch back to the default launcher and I have tried reinstalling Kies and I have tried uninstalling Android MTP in Device manager under Portable Devices and scanning for hardware changes and uninstalling Universal Serial Bus controllers in device manager. I have also tried troubleshooting in Kies, removing the SD card and updating Kies. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work, Kies used to work fine and it suddenly stopped working and I don't recall making any changes to my phone, PC or operating system. I have Windows 7 32-bit if it helps. If you need anymore information just ask.
Thanks in advance!

I have tried it but it's still not working!

Suddenly getting "Device driver software was not successfully installed"

I have an AT&T HTC One X and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (wi-fi only). Since I got this new laptop several weeks ago and installed the Android SDK and HTC and Samsung drivers on it, I've been able to connect my devices and use adb on them with no problems. Now, however, whenever I plug in either device I get the above "device driver software was not successfully installed" message. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both HTC Sync and Samsung Kies. I tried deleting the driver from Device Manager before reinstalling HTC Sync, and I tried manually pointing it to the Google Extras USB driver, but nothing seems to be working. I have no idea what threw ADB out-of-whack, please help!
Nvm, apparently the Galaxy Tab 2 IS working now, after uninstalling and reinstalling Kies (as well as updating the device firmware). Which just leaves the HTC One X...at least this means that it's likely just a driver issue rather than some setting I changed on my computer.

[Q] After update to 2.3.6, device won't connect to USB. Help!

Hi everyone! I've updated my Samsung Galaxy i9003L to 2.3.6 via Kies a few days ago, and USB connection has stopped working for seemingly no reason. The phone just charges but never mounts. Kies doesn't detect it either.
On Win7, when I try to connect I get the device listed as "Unknown Device", error 43. Have tried uninstalling USB drivers and reinstalling official Samsung drivers at least 5 times. Didn't work. Also, Kies doesn't detect the phone. Have tried running Kies' connection troubleshoot tool. Didn't work either.
I've tried connecting the device with 3 different USB cables (including the original Samsung one), and on different USB ports as well. Didn't work either. Also tried putting the device on USB Debugging mode, to no avail. I've also cleaned the USB port in the phone just in case. Problem persists.
My Linux netbook used to detect the device with no problem at all before the update. Now it doesn't detect it either. I've also tried my GF's Mac, but no dice. This makes me think this may be a phone error.
I've also tried the *#7284# USB/MODEM solution and rebooted my phone to factory settings twice already. Nothing seems to work.
I'd appreciate some help on the matter, this is driving me slightly crazy!

Hi! First of all, thanks for the help. I doubt this is a firmware problem, since neither mi Linux netbook nor a Mac computer detected the phone in any way, and they also used ot be able to detect it with no problem.

[Q] Connecting to Samsung Kies

I have a unrooted N8010 running on stock firmware.
I installed the Samsung Kies and all the necessary drivers but when I connect my tablet to the computer it doesn't work at the first try (I get an error about Hardware ID not found...). Although the Samsung Kies software shows on the top left that the GT-N8010 is connecting... but it never connects.
Then I plug out the USB and click on troubleshoot connection and it re-installs the drivers. Then when I connect the tablet again it is recognized by Kies and it shows up on the software window.
My issue is that I have to do this everytime I first connect the tablet. I don't know why I need to re-install the drivers everytime for it to work. Any ideas as to what might be the problem?
Seems to be a common problem, I have same problem, even when connecting without kies to load stuff on my SD card, sometimes changing USB port helps or connect as camera, then back again to MPT. Jim
same here, Moody KIES
Why use Kies ??? join XDA and throw Kies away .

how i can sync contacts with outlook, without kies?!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 3G SM-T111 - Unable to flash firmware via Odin

Hi,
I am new to the forum so please forgive me if I have the wrong section where to post.
Anyway, for a few days I've been trying to save a friend's Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, which apparently worked fine until some time ago, but for no reason one day the system stopped booting and the tablet got stuck in bootloop. I tried to download different versions of the firmware, from the oldest to the newest, I tried to install TWRP as the device lacks recovery mode, but nothing, any flash attempt with Odin continues to fail.
I no longer know what to try and I begin to believe that this device is officially to be thrown away. If you have any advice do not hesitate to write to me.
Thank you in advance.

I already flashed the stock firmware on my Galaxy Tab 10.1, so yes, they are installed.
