Is there an app that can have "reminder or task" from gmail calender to show on the locksceen like the JB ROM? I'm not ready to flash JB ROM since I like Team Venom ROM on the camera side. JB had some issue w/camera and vdo is flicker when playing it. So for now, Team Venom. See screenshot in red circle.

Use widget locker and place any task or calendar widget you like on your lock screen. One of my favorite apps. You can also have the jb/cm unlock style and set all different apps and icons on it.

One of the early gingerbread builds I flashed onto my HD2 had great widgets as replacements for the default system widgets; they looked just like the gTabSiMiClock. Something like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
They all had the single semi-transparent band that would go from end to end of the screen. Does anyone know where I could either find more apps that have this style by default or how to mod the default apps to have this?
Download from market:

- Tajm

i have found an app on market.
with this you can set any wallpaper from your gallery without cropping.(no matter the size of the picture)
search on market and install this app: wallpaper setter (by JPCXC).
How to use?
when you add an wallpaper you will have new option there called "Gallery(no crop)-hit that and select you wallpaper from gallery and you are done. SET.

Hi guys and girls.
just thought id give the app "Overlays" a mention.
Basically it allows you to float any of your installed widgets on top of your screen so that they are still visible when using your apps/browser etc.
The app also allows you to size and set the transparency of the widgets.
Its really easy to use and there is a lite version for you to play with - see more at the XDA portal thread.....
Overlays Thread
Its pretty cool and well worth a shout, especially for us tablet owners :good:

I like Shadow! XIcon is the app will help you add Icon with Shadow to your launcher.
Please notice that it's ALPHA only now, everything may changes, and it's my first app, I am a noob to Android development, so this app will MUST be buggy

How to use:
Pick the Xicon widget in your launcher, then select your icon, and shadow style.
Changelog
0.0.1 - ALPHA release.
Great idea buddy!
Why it stop working? Kitkat here..
I can add it as a widget but nothing appears (transparency is ok here). Not showing anything.
So when I delete the widget it says: Xicon stopped.
Nice idea but I guess need Nova support

It looks almost the same,however figure it out.It is that stupid clean master app.The widget is ok,but I hate that the app enabled it without even asking.
