[Q] On ViperOneS pull down status power menu not working after a reboot - HTC One S

Not a big deal but with the ViperOneS ROM, I have the Quicksettings to show both (the horizontal and the vertical power bars). However whenever I do a reboot, either 1 or both power menus don't show up. I have to go into Venom Tweaks > Statusbar and enable a different option (horizontal or vertical), then re-select the option for both for it appear. Can anyone assist with this?

Same here....

Same here too
But its not a prob for me cause i only use vertical
You can add it to the issue tracker or ask in the rom thread
If I helped in anyway please hit thanks

[MOD] Permanent notification menu in tasker

I created a permanent notification menu in tasker to do some quick launching apps and settings. It was hard to do, but I got it to work. The hard part was…every time I reboot the permanent notification menu would not start.
Here how to set it all up.
1. Open tasker & hit Task: hit New Task: (& name it what ever)
2. Now hit the + & go to Alert & hit Notify…in notify Title (name it what ever you want it to display in the notification) But remember what you put in there. Now put a check in Permanent and hit Done & hit Test. That will start the permanent notification & hit Done
3. Hit Task again & New Task (name it what ever you like) this is where you will load all the stuff you will like in your permanent notification menu. Hit the tool icon & where it have Task Type hit the drop down & pick Menu. You can add a background if you like by clicking on background. Hit Done. Hit the + to add what ever you in your permanent notification menu. When you are done adding what you want…hit Done
4. Now hit New name it to what ever. Hit Event & hit UI & hit Notification Click…now in Title put what you in # 2 hit Done
5. In Task Selection the name you made for your menu…the hit Apply
6. Now pull down your notification and hit your permanent notification menu and you should get a menu pop up with all the stuff you add.
7. Now if you reboot the permanent notification menu will not start by itself. To make it start after a reboot on it’s own…we need to set a profile.
8. Open tasker click New & name it what ever or name it the same as your permanent notification menu. Click Event – System & hit Device Boot & on Task Selection pick your permanent notification menu & hit Apply
9. You should be all done…Hope this help anyone that want to setup a permanent notification menu.

Thanks! My power button doesn't work anymore, So I added a task that locks the screen from the notification bar.
Hi, I have been searching the net for hours trying to find out how to create a menu in the notifications pull down bar that when pressed opens a popup menu with 4 options. This post seems to be the only one that goes over creating this in tasker but I have been getting stuck at a few points.
1 - in section 3 it says 'Hit the tool icon & where it have Task Type hit the drop down & pick Menu' I can not find this.
2 in section 4 it says 'Hit Event & hit UI & hit Notification' firstly is this in a new task or part of section 3. Also I can not find Hit Event & hit UI & hit Notification in tasker.
If anyone can lend me a hand I would be very greatful.

Making Keyboard Backlight Stay on with Tasker App - Stock ROM Rooted

I'm a new Relay user and I can't use CM-10 (need wifi calling) so I'm trying to make the best out of the stock ROM Rooted. I don't like that the keyboard backlight goes out after a few seconds and doesn't seem to even have a sensor to keep it on in dark rooms so I re-downloaded the Tasker App from the Play Store which I haven't used in a while.
To get the keyboard to stay on when slid open I had to do the following:
1. Open Tasker.
2. Choose [Profiles] from the top menu.
3. Click the [plus sign] at the bottom to add a new profile and select [State] from the drop down.
4. Select [Hardware] from the State Category menu.
5. Select [Keyboard Out] from the list of choices here.
6. Tap on the Tasker Icon at the top of the screen and select [Backlight On] from the popup menu.
7. Make sure the toggle switch is set to on for your new profile.
8. Now go to you phone's Sytem Settings > Display > Touch Key Light Duration > and select Always Off (This will allow tasker to take control and have the keyboard backlight stay on when slid open but the Relay's back and menu keys will no longer light up. I can live with this to have my keyboard light on when typing.
9. If this didn't work, make sure Tasker is set to on in System Settings > Accessibility
BTW if someone knows a better way to accomplish this please share.
Edit: Sorry I forgot to mention that I'm using Nova Launcher. I think with the Touchwiz Launcher, apps that use accessibility cause Talkback to speak even if you have it turned off. I could be wrong about that but I had problems with the Light Flow app and accessibility before.
Nice
Good tip. the lights going out bugged me too.
please help. cant find menu with backlight on
Can't find menu with backlight on. Please help.
hey there,
i just figured out how to do this with a non-rooted phone on ics without tasker.
go to settings, display and touch key light duration. increase it to 6 seconds and that will give you enough time to type..
Weird.
I'm on CM10.2 (131117) and since I set the backlight time (in CM10.2 1309xx, I think) to 5 seconds it will always stay on if I open the hardware keyboard.
Maybe I should write me something with tasker to change this in the opposite direction

[Q] Disable dropdown menu during a call

Hello, I am new to the forum and the main reason to come here is that I have a minor problem on my OnePlus One. During a call the dropdown menu keeps toggling and when I finish my call I cannot directly press the hangup button - first I have to swipe up the dropdown menu and than I am able to hangup (check the attached picture). This is something that have been troubling me for a long time. I am running stock CM11S. I would appreciate some help. Thanks!

How to disable the Tap Notification Bar to Lock Screen/Open Task Manager ?

EDIT: Tap on the left do open Recently Apps. Sorry!
Hi im the user of Samsung Galaxy S3 Korea LTE (E210L) using DA Rom V3 (Note 4 UI).
I just flashed my new rom, so im having this problem.
How to Disable the Tap on the Right of Notification to Lock Screen and on the left to open Recently Apps ?
Hold on the Right also open Phone Options (Power Off / Restart menu)
I tap on the right of the notification bar, and that area is fade on, more Fade-White color than other area, its a small rectangle area. Then, it lock the screen.
I don't know if it has been scripted to my rom or not, i haven't found any app in my phone can do that, even Hidden App.
I have searched Google, with any possible word, haven't found anything.
Tap Notification to Turn Off Screen, Fade, there is something and someway to make it could be added!
Anyone can disable this ? My Power Button haven't broken and i don't want tap to lock screen.
Thank you!
Help me please
