Hey everyone,
i have created a new app in the "Easy XY" section - "Easy QR Toolbox".
It is trimmed to be easy to use and provide the most basic features in the quickest way. Currently it supports:
* Creating QR codes from your contacts
* Creating QR codes from your apps
* Creating QR codes from custom text
* Scanning QR codes
* View complete history of all created and scanned codes
It is based on the famous zXing library.
Check it out via QR code of direct link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.goddchen.android.easyqrtoolbox

Cool idea testing it
testing!
I'm sorry for asking such a stupid question but, do I need internet connection with this app or does it generate QR Codes offline?
Offline seems a bit hard but Android never ceased to amaze me.
Great Idea, Thanks. Will test and post findings
I've been looking for something like this for a while. Cheers!
Great work. Can you add barcode generator for wifi access like instawifi?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wsMSwyLDEsIm5ldC5qZXNzZWNoZW4uaW5zdGF3aWZpIl0.
When the qr code contains link, it is copied ( which is fine) but you can include option to open browser with that link.

www.sleejay.com
will generate qr codes for forums, market links, web links, emails, etc.
just use <img src="http://www.sleejay.com/yourdata.png">
as the image tag wherever you want to link an image, and replace yourdata with whatever you want to encode!
in this example i am using "http://forum.xda-developers.com":
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
these codes can be read with our androids using any barcode reader. http links will open browser to that page, market links will open in the market app, etc.
feel free to use this for anything you want. its great in sigs.
please spread the word
QR codes encode data both horizontally and vertically in a grid of tiny squares whereas a bar code encodes data in only the horizontal plane. In turn, QR codes allow for more data to be encoded in a smaller space and barcodes are good for only a little more than identifying products and objects.
will try it
Your link doesn't work. This does, though. It's what your site uses. I thought I'd just bypass the middle man.

tks, men !!

I've made an app that allows you to generate a QR code for your Wifi network. Then anyone with the Barcode Reader app on Android can scan it and connect to a network. Since Barcode Scanner is one of the more widely used QR code readers, the person scanning doesn't need to download anything special to connect your network.
You can save any network you create, then remake the QR code whenever you need it.
You can also send the QR code to your email, Dropbox, etc.
This app has been localized to all languages. Please report any translation errors though!
Please give me any feedback you have, it will be appreciated
Changelog:
1.0.1: Fixed bug that caused an FC when you tried to share a QR code that hadn't been generated yet.
This sounds great. I'll have to definitely check this out.
Any suggestions or requests for this app? If not, I'm probably going to release to the Android market soon!
Updated to version 1.0.1!

A little application i wrote to deal with passwords on multiple computers currently working to.
It uses 128-bit AES with a key that is randomly generated on the first launch to store the passwords encrypted in a QR Image.
The image can be stored on the phone, printed an sticked on the computer, in any place that you can scan it to see the passwords.
You can import/export the encryption key to use it with any number of devices

Great work ! :good:
great idea! I like it.
a cool feature would be to have a way to "one-click"-copy the username and/or the password, or better like in Keepass to get them copied through the notification bar.
Haven't thought of it, definitely gonna make something like that
uploaded v1.2.3
each field is copied to clipboard if you hold click on it
working on notifications and making it a list with undo when deleted
Hi!
I would like to have feedback on this application I published on Google Play to share files from Your Android device over the web.
Currently You can share single files, multiple files or text.
It will work if Your device is visible from other devices and/or it is in the same network.
I would be glad if You can test it, evaluate it and let me know ways to improve it.
You can share the link via QRcode or NFC or via sharing button.
No root required!
Get it here on Google Play Store:
