Hi,
i upgraded my phone to 2.3.4 version of android.
After that i am facing a strange problem with USB tethering.
When i connect to internet through USB tethering, it stays connected with PC for a while and after 2 or 3 minutes it gets disconnected.
This is really frustrating.
Please help me ASAP, because i find good 3G speed when connecting through cable, not through Mobile AP.

JVP & JVQ tether hang up for me after opening 10-20 webpages in PC's browser. Tried modem from 2.3.3 (JVH) with 2.3.4 (JVQ), it's a bit better but also hangs up in some minutes. USB drivers are fresh, 1.3.2410, May 2011. Probably we only can wait for official 2.3.4.

is there anyway acer iconia apps ( not only browser ) can connect to internet ? and if it does, can the internet help the GPS to find more accurate location ?Thx
i m using huwaei usb 3g modem and i get Hspda network on the go by poppin in the sim - Browser, ALL apps And even GPS works flawlessly- Custom roms have huwaei dongle support- just order one online from the supported list- turn off tablet, plug in modem with sim, turn on setup apn and ur good to go
you mean HSDPA ? can you tell me your modem version ?? mine is huawei e173.. and what custom ROM do u use ? thx

I recently bought a new Motorola Atrix 4G MB860 phone and as you know it doesn't support ad-hoc connection. So, in order to enable the phone for ad-hoc I had to root the device and install the ad-hoc enabler. I rooted it with the help of One-Click root software and installed the ad-hoc enabler. Everything was cool and it was enabled for ad-hoc, I got my device connected to my laptop's ad-hoc and surfed the internet using WiFi connection. But on the next day when I tried to connect to the ad-hoc, it showed that there were WiFi connections available but when I choose to connect to the network it doesn't get connected, it doesn't even show the WiFi icon on the notification area. I restored the phone to factory settings several times and it didn't work. Please guys anyone help me with this.

if that doesn't work then wipe and restore or flash a Rom
Advice plz after rooting my whatsapp is not able to connect. I have reinstalled still is the problem
I have found that when I connect through wifi hotspot my pc also shows no Internet.
When i on My hotspot than connet whith my pc.. my pc says no network.. but my pc got other mobile hotspot net easily......
What can i do? i flash stock rom again and again but nothings happen....
But when i flash a7 custom rom hotspot work fine.. hut A7 rom is so laggy to me...
