New 3d modeler application for Android compatible with LG Real3d - LG Optimus 3D

Hello, I'm developing modeler 3d application with stereoscopic view compatible with Lg Optimus 3d. The application name is ModelAN3D, and it's still in development phase. You can view short video in youtube if you search for modelan3d.
I can try the app for the mobile HTC Evo 3d, and works fine, but I need to try into LG Optimus 3d.
Someone can try the app if I send the apk file?.
Thanks in advanced.

If you want to post a link or PM me I'd love to try it out.

You can send me an email to [email protected], and I will send you the apk.

I sent you request.
I could try it.

I'll test it for you! Request sent...

beta testing of ModelAN3D
I'm testing.
Very nice app I'm impressed. I think the deep of 3D is little bit too small.
Sugestion:
1. Can you add "select option" for multiple objects like a text 'cause for now we can select only one letter.
2. Buttons for view, edit could be more easier available eg. bottom screen in a row.
3. Nice could be visible sliders on the work place for changing view always. Please add up-down direction eg on the left side.
4. Please add possiblity changing view even in objects edit mode.
5. Can you add possiblity of select objects by touch not only by chose select object button?
6. Nice could be export - import objects not only full project.
7. Nice could be centering view option by selected object.
8. Could you add parallax option for 3D display.
9. save of screen shot could be as .jps file.
OMG to many changes I'll be want, but last word is yours.
Good luck for development.

Thanks for testing!!!!. But I have one dude: your 3d view is using stereoscopic mode, or you are viewing 2d like the image that you send (2 horizontal images)????. Maybe the stereoscopic view is not activated correctly....I will send you another version to activate explicit parallax view.
I take note of your sugestions for next versions...
Regards...

Yes this app works in stereoscopic mode.
I attached share screen shot from you app.
By the way please add support for hardware 3d swither of Optimus 3D.
Can you?

O.k, I'm developing now the switcher for change between normal mode and stereoscopic mode (and other option to use red/blue glasses).
I will change too the share function to avoid two images. And I investigate how to export real 3d image (jps).
....and I detect small error when generating stereoscopic image, when the camera change its position....fix soon...
Regards and thanks for your collaboration....

Hi i have sent to you a mail for the app testing... thanks
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app

I would like to try too, [email protected]. Is this a viewer or a 2d to 3d converter?

@halleyrokz it's simply 3D modeler for now.

I will try ... I'm so curious

great work even if it's still in development phase
i think you need to improve the side-by-side view to make the 3D view more...3D
keep it up :good:
cheers

New Adjust 3d Effect option available !!!

is so nice...still testing

Remember that you can change the position of the camera using two fingers like making zoom in and out with a photo (and also when you are scaling one object). When moving object pressing + and - buttons you change the distance to move from the camera position.

Could you please PM me a link, I'd live to try it out and give you feedback.

Publish on Google Play
This night probably I will publish the 1.0 version of ModelAN3D on Google Play.
Very thanks for your help with testing !!!

[Q] Is there similar app like Autostitch for Ipad/Iphone?

Is the good & similar autostitch apk than is Autostitch for iOS?
I'd like to find apk that allows we same feechers than AutoStitch... multiple pictures, and especially not only horizontal or vertical stitches...
"AutoStitch is the only app that can stitch images in any order or arrangement, including vertical, horizontal, or mixed arrangements. It achieves unmatched quality by using full resolution camera images rather than lower-resolution video input.
To get started, use any camera app to snap some overlapping photos from the same location. Then simply select the photos you wish to combine in AutoStitch and touch "Stitch". AutoStitch uses state-of-the-art technology that automatically recognizes and smoothly combines overlapping images, making panorama creation on the iPhone easy, fast and fun.
Features:
- Simple and intuitive interface. Just select images and touch "Stitch"
- Works with any arrangement of overlapping images taken from a single location
- Stitch any number from 2 to 20 or more images
- Crop the result with automatic or manual cropping
- Share your creations by email or upload to Facebook

I added a video.
Is there any feedback ?
Tried it... doesn't recognise CBZ or CBR the two most common net comic formats
I'll unzip/unrar them and try again.
It definitely needs CBZ and CBR support.
Sent from my Kindle Fire using xda premium
You are right. I will add support of cbz and cbr.
What about performance ?
Is it smooth (depending of your phone or tablet) ?
Thank you very much for your help.
Regards.
Seems super-smooth. Will be happy to use it if you can add the CBR/Z support and keep it running as nice!
Although I am running on a Samsung Galaxy SII running CheckROM RevoHD v4 and the excellent DarkKnight v2.4.3 kernel... so most things run pretty smooth!
I added both file support : .cbz and .cbr.
Cbz (zip) is not cpu consuming so app is still smooth.
About Cbr (rar), it's no as smooth as before but still usable.
Don't hesitate to give a feedback.
Thanks !
I added PDF file support.
So now the list of supported format is :
JPG
PNG
PDF
CBZ/ZIP
CBR/RAR

Thanks, gonna try out my new Walking Dead Comics!
Thanks for the link! This works great on the Kindle Fire. The scrolling is kind of annoying at times, but it hasn't failed to open any file I've thrown at it yet. Is there an option to tap to turn pages instead of scrolling? If there is, I can't find it. If there isn't, there should be. Other than that this is a great comics viewer. Great job!
Drunk texted from my FactorySense Thunderbolt.
Thanks onestoploser for your feedback.
For now, there is no option to go next page (only by scrolling).
I will add an option for this.

Sometimes it seems to scroll too far, like into the next page after the one I'm going to. Setting the velocity speed to none helps, but still happens on occasion. That's why I was wondering about a tap to turn the page option. Like I said though, this is a great app!

Thanks for Posting the Link
Thanks for posting the link Indesisv... As I was a Junior Member I was not able to post the link.
All of the effects that can be done are really quick to apply. It's simple to use.
One question thought "Images can be Enhanced to HD - High Definition" how do you go about applying that effect? I can't seem to see it anywhere.
Also the stickers section - it does not list any that i can apply.
Thanks

Hi indesisv,
As soon as Editor Page opens, on the Bottom Left Corner, there is an Enhance Tile. On Clicking this we get choose from four modes
[Auto, Night, backlit and balance]. This is option to Enhance to HD.
I am using Aviary Editor, they said that this is the Feature for Enhance to HD. Also Stickers cost money for Individual Developers as Far a Aviary is concerned, Hence I disabled it ...
1 feature Suggestion for 21 Photos

The one thing that is misssing is when using a file browser and i click on a photo it does not give you the option to open it with the 21 photo's editor.
Hi
It looks the same of Aviary (except for the file browser and prefs).
Is it another implementation of the same framework?
Good Feature Suggestion

[APP][2.2+]Assistive Zoom - One finger zoom control in any browser (ROOT) test needed

NOTE: This App is ROOT required
First time on Android device. This App allows you to send pinch to zoom in/out event on any window with JUST ONE FINGER. So when you are only one hand free, and want to zoom in a web page, Assistive Zoom can help you big time. Just hold on the floating zoom button of Assistive Zoom and move up/down to control the scale factor. This App works in any pinch to zoom enabled window or App.
Since this is my first release and due the the fragmentation of Android system, I am not sure it works on all kind of platforms. I have tested on my 2.2, 4.0, 4,1, 4.2 devices without a problem. So please help to test if it works on your device. If you experience any problem, please let me know. Also, any suggestion is welcome.
[Features]
☆ Works in any pinch to zoom enabled window
☆ Floating trigger button can be disabled/enabled at anytime
☆ Control scale ration at finest level
☆ 3 styles of trigger icon to choose from
☆ Customizable triggering and zooming options
☆ Works from Froyo (2.2) to latest Jelly Bean (4.2)
[Download]

FAQ
(1) Why it doesn't work?
Ans: This App requires root to function properly. If you are greeted by message your device is not rooted upon launching the App first time, then you probably have an unrooted device.
(2) Why webpage scales unexpectedly?
Ans: Please enable alternative pinch action
(3) Why some text on a webpage is automatically selected after scale is finished?
Ans: Please disable alternative pinch action
Amazing. Never thought it was possible. Good job. It really comes in handy when i neesnit.
convenient. I think Button Savior can also have this button.
Very convenient! Although, I suggest that the icon for the zoom could look a bit more minimal and nice looking. Other than that, it's very good!

I will add more zoom button styles in later release. If you want minimal design, there is a style called Hilo in trigger icon style. Also, you can set lower transparency value in auto dim transparency setting to make zoom button even less obstructive looking.

is there any way to change position of zoom button vertically?

hi,
currently u cant move vertically. I am still finding a good way to do it. The problem is if zoom button is not centered vertically, user will get unequal distance in either vertical direction to triggernzoom action.

If this is the main concern, then you will have same problem if you want to integrate this function in Button Savior.
Hi, new user to the forum and expecting my first tablet, Sony Xperia Tablet Z on Thursday.
I stumbled across this forum and thread while searching for Android apps that might be able to zoom in/out with one finger. I am a high level quadriplegic and use a capacitive mouthstick made by griffin for touchscreens since I cannot use my arms/hands/fingers. I am looking forward to seeing this app progress to the point that I can use it. Being new to tablets, I am not going to be comfortable rooting a brand new device that I have much to learn about, but maybe after a few weeks I'll be ready to experiment and help test this app.
I am just excited to see that someone is trying to develop such an app, so kudos to jerryfan2000!

yes, this feature would poses some challenges to me on Button Savior if I want to make it as easy and simple to use as it is right now on Assistive Zoom. So far, the best solution I figure out is to show a separate zoom button at middle of screen upon tapping on Zoom Button on Button Savior. So that would require user to press 2 times compared to 1 touch to zoom on Assistive Zoom.

It is glad to know it has potential to help you. Rooting is not as harsnor dangerous as you think. You still need to manually grant root permission to any App that requests root. And you can also unroot at any time if you need to send your device back for repair.

Welcome.
I think this would be great for use with mice or the S-pen, but I have 2 suggestions that would improve on it.
1: allow (homescreen) shortcuts to enable, disable, and toggle the service so it's easy to automate it with apps like tasker and GMD S-pen control.
2: undo dimming upon "mouse over"/hover for supported devices like a mouse, or Samsung airview(Note 2/8, S4)
this would make the icon easier to find if it's set to hide completely.
edit:I noticed a small problem that makes this app useless in some apps.
in opera mobile classic it only switches between zoomed out and standard(double tap) zoom states, nothing in between.
and in the image viewer built into FX File Explorer you can only switch between zoomed in completely, and zoomed out completely.
I just started testing the pro version, and find it to be a great app. It's particularly useful to me when operating my Note II with one hand.
My first suggestion is to enable faster zoom speeds.
Tis is a really great idea. I tried it for five minutes and then bought the Pro version.
Well done and very many thanks for a great app!

Hi,
Both suggestions are good Idea. I will take them. I don't have s pen device but I can try mouse over with my nexus 7. I am not sure is it possible to detect mouse over in Android but I will try.
For problem with opera and image view, you can try testing again with alternative pinch fix on or off. I will also try it on my phone. But if you have discontinuous zoom problem, alternative pinch action toggle is always the first to try.
mouse-over is definitely possible on android, many websites rely on this for their menu and those websites work fine in opera mobile classic if I use a stylus or mouse.
Photoshop touch, and many Samsung apps support it through airview.
and the xtralogic remote desktop app can track the mouse cursor so the remote cursor follows the android cursor.
and I did test the different zoom methods, but there was no difference.
particularly in FX it's annoying, because it's zoom levels are so far apart and it doesn't have double-tap zoom.
Nice app!!
This is a great app - I've been looking for something like this! Works well for my GSII on Android 4.1.2. I just saw that the Pro version allows to control whether or not the zoom is shown per app, so I'm going to have to give that a try. Ideally I'd just like to have the assistive zoom for a few apps: Chrome, Evernote, etc. ...
thanks!

How to Use "Scene" with HTC Photo?

HTC's Photo application is supposed to support "scenes". Here's what the PDF documentation says:
Choosing a scene
Instead of manually adjusting the camera settings, you can select a scene with predefined settings that best matches the environment you're capturing.
1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
2. Switch to Pro mode. See Choosing a capture mode for details.
3. Tap [A] and then choose a preset scene. Select:
[moon & stars] when capturing nightscape such as a city skyline or street with city lights. Keep the camera steady when taking the shot for best results.
[man running] when capturing a fast-moving subject such as your kid playing sports or a moving car.
[flower] when capturing a close-up shot of a subject such as a flower or insect.
4. When you're ready to take the photo, tap [shutter release].
If you need to manually adjust a scene and save it as a new preset, see Manually adjusting camera settings.

Click to collapse
Note that the documentation uses graphic icons for [A], [moon & stars}, and so forth, which I can't reproduce in the quote. See the screen-shot attached.
Also see the screen shot for what my "Pro" mode shows. I can't find the [A] to tap, to select a different scene. How do I get "scenes" to work?
