I bring to you, my blue keyboard theme!
This has so far only been tested on Rayman's jb build (feel free to test on any other cm rom and let me know if it works!)
Install instructions
1) Download from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0yngeej6q1ec47u/LatinIME.apk
2) move the apk from your download folder to into system/app (yes to overwrite)
3) go back to just /system then back into system/app (this gives the apk a chance to go to the permissions that it starts with)
4) change permissions to rw--r-r (just like all other apk's in the system/app folder)
5) reboot and enjoy!
Rom's known to work on: 1) Rayman's cm10 jb.
Screenshot!
Couldn't get the image to show up so just click the drop box link for it haha
http://db.tt/lQPQIyTY
Just FYI, when you first open the keyboard after reboot it will bring up the voice to text by default, just hit the back arrow and open again then you're good to go!
Moved to general since it will just get pushed further and further back in the dev section.

Zdzihu has delivered a near perfect Froyo (only video cam remain outstanding) which is extremely stable
TripNRaver has delivered Cyanogen 6.1 which is very cool with the cyanogenmod but still has some issues such as move to SD and flashlight.
I like cyanogen mod but I also like the stability of z's free x10. Since both are based on Froyo, I thought of combining them to create a perfect rom. And it works !!!
What I did:
1. Unzip Trip's cyanogen to a folder (let's say c:\cyanogen)
2. Unzip Z's beta3 to another folder (let's say c:\freex10)
In each folder you should have a META-INF and system folder
3. copy the services.jar from the link below (download and rename) to c:\cyanogen\system\framework (this will enable the flashlight)
http://www.mediafire.com/?67jb2mowad2z23p
4. copy the framework-res.apk from the link below to c:\cyanogen\system\framework (this will enable HW Led) - Thanks to fonz2544 for the tip.
http://www.multiupload.com/E1DFZKTFXG
note: Should work for both beta3 & 4. The trade-off is that you lose the auto-brightness option in the display settings.
5. copy the following folders from c:\freex10\system to c:\cyanogen\system
- bin
- etc
- lib
you may also want to copy the Froyo's Camera.apk to c:\cyanogen\system\app (rename 1 of them if you want both)
6. zip the c:\cyanogen folder (you should do it inside c:\cyanogen).
Any zip application should do.
For me I use windows (select all files under c:\cyanogen, right click, send to compressed (zip) file)
7. copy this zip file to sdcard
8. install via xRecovery
9. Install free x10 gapps and free x10 beta3 hotfix 1. Reboot
10. system will reboot twice and after that it'll be fine (if not you should crash system server at least once)
What is working - same as free x10 beta 3
You have cyanogen mod now and can easily do a dark theme and change the clock color etc

2. I have tried everything and they worked just fine. But I can't guarantee it'll work for you.
3. All credits go to T & Z. I hope I don't offend them. I just want to share with you my findings so more of you can enjoy it.
4. This just shows that their combined work is awesome

Ah ok, I understand now. No there is not that, however you can do some small edits to the theme in order to change how that bar looks. I'd recommend going through the themes that work on CM7 RC1 (though I'm sure you understand why, this is because GBCollab is essentially CM7 RC1) and seeing if you can find a google search bar you like. You can find screenshots of all of them in my reference guide for themes or you can just click this link. Once you find one you like, download that theme, unzip it and open it up. Inside of the folder system, you'll find a folder called apps and in there you'll see a bunch of apk files including GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk. Grab that file.
Now there are two ways you can do get this onto your phone, the first of which I've never actually gotten to work for myself but I'm going to list it anyways because...who knows?
1) Download Root Explorer from the market.
2) Somehow get the file I told you to grab earlier onto your phone's SDcard, doesn't matter how just remember where you put it.
3) Open up Root Explorer and navigate to where you put that file.
4) Long press the file and select Move on the menu that pops up.
5) Navigate back to the root of Root Explorer and scroll down to the folder System (this'll be one step back from your SDcard)
6) Navigate to the folder Apps
7) At the top, click on where it says [mount r/w]
8) At the bottom click on the paste button and when it asks you if you want to replace the existing file, select yes or ok whichever is answering in the affirmative.
9) Reboot
This has never actually worked for me, I've heard others say it works great so I don't know. If it doesn't work for you here is the other way we can do this however it requires you are on Windows and have either WinRAR or 7zip.
1) Download both the Bliss theme and the theme you want to steal the search box from
2) DO NOT UNZIP BLISS but DO unzip the other theme and again pull out the search box.
3) Open Bliss in WinRAR or 7zip but DO NOT UNZIP IT
4) Navigate to system/apps again and drag the GoogleQuickSearch.apk file you want to use into that folder. I've never done this with 7zip but on WinRAR it'll have a pop up after finishes adding it and just hit OK or Yes, again not sure what it says but just answer in the affirmative.
5) Put the modified Bliss theme on your SDcard and flash it as you normally would.
I know this method works because I've used it. You can also use this method to replace other system apps in that folder. Plus it makes you feel all cool because you edited a theme
~~EDIT~~
I've also attached the stock search box just in case you want that.

Google is rolling out Gmail v4.1.2 update. If you (like me) are running custom Inverted Google Apps, this 4.1.2 update will load to /data/app folder and will emasculate your Inverted Gmail apk in /system/app (i.e., you will no longer have your dark-themed, inverted Gmail). I was perusing the XDA Samsung Galaxy Nexus Forum and found what I needed… so sharing for anyone interested. All credit goes to Developer/Recognized Themer “Camblue” who created a Nexus theme called “NuBlue for Liquid 2.0(Build Alpha 6)”. Link below. I downloaded the zip, and extracted two apks: Gmail.apk (Gmail 4.1.2) and Phonesky.apk (Play Store 3.7.15). Note: this is NOT a flashable zip for our i727 SR, as it has other files specific (systemUI, framework-res) for the Nexus… if you flash this via CWM you will surely F-up your SR phone. Simply do the following if you want a blue-themed Inverted Gmail (latest v 4.1.2) and blue-themed Inverted PlayStore (latest 3.7.15):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804713
How To:
1) Download “NuBlue Liquid 2.0 Beta 1v3.zip” to your computer (can be downloaded to the phone as well… but someone will surely try to flash this on the SR… again, DO NOT FLASH on SR, so to be safe, download to your desktop/laptop).
2) Extract using your favorite unzip utility.
3) Navigate to /system/app folder (on the extracted NuBlue folder)… the v4.1.2 Gmail is “Gmail.apk”, the 3.7.15 PlayStore is “Phonesky.apk”. Copy file(s) to your phone’s sdcard or external sdcard.
4) Rename your current apks (if you think you might want to restore these later) or delete current apks . First, look in /data/app for files like “com.android.vending-x.apk” and “com.google.android-gm-x.apk (where “x” could be 1, 2, or x depending on how many updates you have allowed). If not in /data/app, they will be in /system/app as “Phonesky.apk” or “Vending.apk” and “Gmail.apk”. Once you’ve renamed/deleted these, move to step 5.
5) Now navigate to where you copied the NuBlue file(s) to your phone’s sdcard/external sd… and first move to /system. Once in /system, fix permissions (rw.r.r), then move to /system/app.
6) Reboot…
7) Done.
Do you mind posting a screenshot? I'd like to see what this looks like.
If not I'll search for it later I'm sure there's one around.

Inverted Blue-Themed Gmail screenshots....
OK guys here is the deal, I wanted to create a theme that combined the status bar of this theme:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...eme.motoblur.free&feature=more_from_developer
with the icons of this theme (because the moto ones are fugly) :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thomassafca.theme.touchwiz.free&hl=en
So what I came up with is called motowiz
Installation instructions:
1. Make sure you are on a CM9 based rom that has the T-Mobile theme Chooser installed
2. Move the apk to system>app
3. Change perms to rw-r-r
4. Reboot
5. Apply theme (it'll say something about not being compiled right, just hit apply anyway)
Note: It must be installed manually because its not signed, idk how to do that.
Features:
TW4 icons
Motoblur4 status bar
4G icon instead of H
If you like it just hit the thanks button

This is a Zip Themer zip file that I created for my One (M8) Lollipop 5.1 stock rom phone. I had searched all over the threads for one and I decided to create one when I couldn't find. The Home Key is replaced by the words "One M8" and a few changes on the back key and recent task list.
I have to give credits to Candy Shop thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2383098) where I got the inspiration from. If you don't know how to use Zip Themer, then have a look at the following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39572221&postcount=18
Also, it is important to understand that in my case I opted to use a rom zip (@Matthew0776 step 4 in configuring Zip Themer) for @digitalhigh the Sense 7 Camera which doesn't have aroma installer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...apps/app-sense-camera-gallery-m8-rom-t3008262). I would highly recommend you also use a Rom that's compatible with M8 ROM that you are installing on without Aroma Installer. Else, you could opt use the Sense 7/6 Camera as mentioned earlier.
Zip Themer link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kellinwood.zipthemer
NB: ALWAYS make a Nandroid before flashing. Also make sure you create an undo zip with Zip Themer.

seems very complicated much better if you mentioned all the step by step
Does it work with Sense 7 ? I tried to install your navbar and everything went fine but in the end my navbar did not change.
Very complicated if you ask me.
1: open the SystemUI.apk
2: drag the drawable-xxhdpi folder out it and edit the navbar icons with paint (or whatever)
3: drag the folder back in the apk and push it via the recovery to system/priv-app/SystemUI/
4: reboot and it's done
