hI, Ive got a Samsung galaxy tab 2 p5113 10.1 running stock 4.0.4 and when i try to root it using the root instructions in this forum, it always comes up wit e: signature verification failed.
any help or link?

Flash recovery via odin while untick autoreboot then reboot manual to recovery via volume up+power then flash the other file if a message appear as fix recovery say yes
Or flash stock 4.0.3 via odin from www.samfirmware.com and try rooting again

1- can i install cwm or cwm touch trought rom manager? or must i install it only flashing from odin?
2- after rooting my 3100 cani update SU binary or this loose root?

Yes i read some reports of users who used it successfully to update cwm
But when i tried it it did not overwrite my old recovery
So you could try it
If no result then use Odin and if you are afraid about counter increase, use triangle away app,will reset counter to zero as if no odin used (worked fine for me)

already updated Galaxy P3100 to jellybean but now want to root d devic wid CWM update
I already updated my galaxy tab 2 GT-P3100 to jellybean update(leaked and got from XDA-developers.com ) but now I am thinking to update CWM update to this device and want to extend ROM and root the device....
I got a CWM update by Odin and many other options from the net and XDA-developers But That was old and was a CWM update for ICS 4.0.3/4 ...But I already updated it to JellyBean 4.1.1 so I think that old update will not work...
So please anyone help me to do this Update... If anybody have any information about CWM update for root the device Galaxy GT-P3100 and on 4.1.1 JellyBean OS then inform me...

Need help here.... i'm using samsung galaxy tab2 7.0 p3100.
was installing new rom but end up installation aborted (status 7) and now my p3100 stuck in samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 loading screen....
please give some advise how to solve it.... thanks.... i'm using cwm 6.0.2.3 now....
You should be able to boot back to ODIN mode and reflash with a working Rom..

i have seemed to narrow it down to flashing kitkat roms. i flashed pacrom JB and it seems to work, is there a certain recovery i need to use for kitkat rom flashing?
Update your CWM to 6.0.4.5 (unofficial build available here on xda) then flash again. Its also possible that the flashable zip is corrupted.

Status 7 means your CWM needs to be updated......

Hello, I have problem with CWM, i have rooted Galaxy Ace 2, then i wanted to update recovery to CWM 6.0.4.5. but my Odin Failed in conection. I decided to unplug phone and then i realised that i see only statement "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again" (I could go only in Download mode). After long time i found a bit older CWM, 5.x.x it worked but it doesnt support kitkat. I wanted to update it from SDcard to 6.0.4.5, it has beed installed successful but when i reboot it again to recovery it was still same old version.
I have done the same things with my galaxy mini 2 in the same way and i didnt have any problem with it (kitkat works there propely).
Could you help me to fix it? what should i do, i heard that i should install JB via Odin then root again and update CWM but im not sure about it.

hey there, i want to install lollipop 5.1.1 on my galaxy note 1 n7000 4.1.2 but when i am trying to flash the cwm from my android system recovery 3e it gives me signature verification failed then i tried to flash the philz touch through odin and did not work. please help me i had been trying for almost 4 hours
