stuck on LG logo after flashing clockworkmod recovery - Optimus One, P500, V Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed rom manager and flashed ClockworkMod Recovery. it showed clockwork mod is flashed successfully. i selected reboot to recovery, but now my phone is only displaying LG logo. i can't even use hard reset power+home+volume down. it still shows LG logo when i press power+home+volume down . KDZ is showing phone not found. even LG mobile support tool is unable to recognize my phone. i have tried reinstalling drivers. nothing worked.
i am running win7 X64 and there is nothing in 'modems' section of device manager so can't disable LG modem.
what should i do?
my phone was running rooted stock 2.3.3 with new baseband.

Don't pay to service centre ever without knowing what you are paying for. In most cases when your phone is dead, ur motherboard has minor damage. so they should take 1500 inr for that. but in case the motherboard is burnt then 8000 for whole of it. I have paid once so I know about this

Glad everything worked out for you. Having once worked for a phone repair center, I can tell you that replacing the motherboard or other hardware is standard procedure. It's all about minimizing turnaround time and maximizing profit. Replacing the hardware is cheaper (for the service center) than spending time trying to troubleshoot the problem. That's why I tell people that unless they're sure it's a hardware problem, it's usually better to just learn how to fix their phones themselves.

OT..
Minor or major.. anything happens to board cant be repaired and has to be replaced. Everything is fabricated using computerized tools so a normal person cant repair it using a soldering iron.
Anything that is not on Pcb can be detached and replaced.
If the phone is hard bricked.. there are only two options
-Replace the board.. which is costly.
-Find a service centre with JTAG to reset and reprogrammed the IC.. lot cheaper than replacing the board.. but hard to find

Please help, my LG Optimus One won't even start anymore - I was using KDZ Updater and an error came up, I turned it off and tried to turn it back on, but nothing happens - it doesn't do anything, I press the button and nothing happens.
Take it to the warranty service. Tell them that you tried to update the firmware via official lg tool and something went wrong.

I cant help u out in this situation u should contact to LG but prefer u that in future if u faced any of this situation dont disconnect ur phone in EMERGENCY MODE, if in case of any error while updating or downgrading then at the same time restart KDZ Updater and flash ur phone with a working rom. - don't worry , stay calm i brick'ed my phone like 50 times, i brick'ed so bad it diden't want to start, power button was usless.
TRY this:
- remove battery , while holding the UP volume key and back button connect it to PC via USB Emergency mode should apear , then open KDZ and install via 3GQCT and EMERGENCY an original/stock firmware ( Froyo 2.2.2 v10E.kdz http://www.4shared.com/file/O3Nw1b4s/V10E_00.html )
- after KDZ finishes an animation will apear , then you must put back the battery.
- things that you may encounter , errors in KDZ , phone fails to start after KDZ resets it , KDZ successfully installs rom and powers off phone when you power on phone it stopps at Android logo, sometimes the android logo animation work's and lags for 2 3 seconds (do a battery pull, put it back then power on the phone if it lags then you must reflash) , you must do a battery pull, connect usb without battery and chose DIAG in KDZ, reflash.
- as i was saying i killed my phone alot of times, KDZ always helped me bring it back to life , be patient.. and if you get alot of errors and flash meny times the phone gets hot , leave it to cool for a while and then try again.
you can install Froyo 2.2.2 v10E.kdz

You should hold both buttons by one hand using 2 fingers and simultaneously connect it to pc through usb cable to enter into emergency mode..its a bit tricky..just by only pressing two button nothing will happen.

Nothing happens. Can I try anything else before I take it to LG Service Center?
P.S: Removed the URLs as XDA would not allow me to post.
Just go to the service, i had this problem twice , but i just go to the LG service and they changed my phone mainboard
Yeah. That's what they said to me too. Will be a week without my phone now.
well my warranty has been over
so normally send to service center they will charge right ?
furthermore, almost everytime flash to v20g (gingerbread official ROM) my phone sure can't turn on
so flash back to v10g (froyo official ROM) then said something param error, and my phone matter how I turn on also black screen
which either turn on in emergency mode (back + volume up + power), factory reset (volume down + home + power) and normal turn on phone
try charge the phone also no respond

what is JTAG ? mind explain ?
and my warranty has been over

I will explain you in a simple way.. when you do a hard brick, you actually corrupt the IC data.
The main IC ( processor) on the board is a programmed one. (We used to program basic 8085 and 8086 processors which used to be a big pain).
So when you hard brick a device.. there is no other option than to change the board (PCB).
But if there is someone well experinced with JTAG.. they can reset and re-program it again.
And it will cost you less than replacing the board.
Not all Service Centre do JTAG though.. hope you find one!!
Yes.. they will charge you!!
did ur fone goes to offline charging mode still?? if yes playing a little wid kdz updater can bring ur fone bak. if nt go for service cntres.

Phone won't boot (stuck on LG logo)

Hello,

Sounds like LGMDP or KDZ are about the only things that you can try at this point. With the phone booting to the LG Logo, it's not a permanent brick yet. I would try LGMDP before KDZ as KDZ has been known to brick devices. It's bricked two for me.

Something has changed the way the devices are identified since ICS came out. Have you tried using either of those programs with the device boot-looping on the LG Logo? That will be about the only way the device is detected. You may get lucky enough to have LGMDP detect it. The only other option I know of is to visit a local cell shop that has JTAG equipment.
Uninstall all lg drivers, reinstall the latest drivers and try again after disabling lg modem from control panel-devices

If you've damaged or replaced your bootloader and the phone will not boot, all you can really do is send it to a service centre, so they can reflash the memory. I doubt very much there is anything you can do as a "home" user.

Yeah, sure. Kernel control all sorts of things for the device, including the amount of electrical current sent to the hardware such as the digitiser, cpu etc. Flashing an incorrect kernel can literally fry the components.
Besides, he has damaged / lost / replaced his bootloader, which sounds like there is a problem that may not be rectified. He may even have flashed the kernel to the bootloader partition, who knows?
There is only one kind of brick. Hard brick / soft brick doesn't exist, despite what people say. It's either bricked or it's not. If this user can recover his device, it was not bricked. If he cannot, then it is. I will also include in the term "bricked" if it can be repaied, but only with industrial equipment available to a service centre,

Press and hold power key for 20 secs
Release power key.
Press power key, volume_up key and volume_down key.
If the screen does not turn on then press power key for 20 secs.
Release power key.
Press and hold volume_up key while you connect the usb cable.
After connecting the usb cable you have to keep pressing volume_up key for 2-3 secs.
If the screen turns on follow my guide about lg flashtool. Link in my signature.
If the screen still remains black you have to claim your warranty. If you cant claim your warranty then you have to buy a new motherboard and replace it for yourslef or pay someone to buy a new motherboard and replace itnfor you or buy a new phone. JTAG is not possible, because every msm8974 soc comes with disabled JTAG. Your other option is to find the right connection for the emmc on the motherboard and solder wires to it between an sdcard adapdter.

This will not be covered by warranty. The only way to get this covered by warranty would be to not tell the truth, which is fraud. Any damage is purely the users fault and not a manufacturing defect,

Yeah, I get your point, I see it like this: Soft"brick" is when a normal user (not users which are in this forums, but users which haven't heard about flashing and rooting) can't use his phone, for him it is literally a brick.
Hardbricked is when you have a damaged hardware/bootloader and not even the best "recoverer" in the forums can't fix the phone on software - layer.

Remove usb cable.
Your other option is to find the right connection for the emmc on the motherboard and solder wires to it between an sdcard adapdter.

i think so,because bootloader is gone!
and nothing happend
if i just boot to fastboot everything going to normal and easy
Can you load the secondary bootloader (POWER + VOL UP + VOL DOWN)? If not, then it's hopeless. Why would you flash another device's kernel?

Do you have insurance? Most bank accounts do have them as part of them. If so, throw it on the floor and claim for a new one. They won't bother replacing a smashed screen and damaged housing so they'll just send a new one out ?

That's still fraud.
Send it for repair and own up to what you did. Surely flashing the memory via a service centre is not an expensive endeavour.
Edit: geez,Ignore the post, didn't read the later pages.
